I was provided with an eARC by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book, and all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really liked this anthology! While some of the stories were definitely not my thing, there were some that I really enjoyed.

What I liked:
- The writing style
- The length of the stories
- The difference between each one

Some not-so-great aspects:
- The time period they were set in
- Bland characters
- Smut was underwhelming in some stories

If you are expecting more of a drawn-out book with a plot featuring smut, this is probably not for you. However, if you're just looking for some short erotica stories, I recommend it!

If you are looking for good writing, this may not be the book for you. However, if you are looking for an excuse to live out your fantasies in dirty and wonderful detail, this is it. Each story relives a specific fantasy for anyone. And each story had me feeling hot and heavy. I had to take this book in stride. It wasn’t one that I could just read all the way through and move on. I will admit, I did have to be a in a very specific sexy mood to be able to read but it really wasn’t a bad thing. While the writing was a little rough in parts and each story did happen to move pretty fast, I feel that that this book fulfilled the purpose it had pre-set by getting to the juicy parts fast so that we could get our fill and get off.

When moving through, pay attention to the trigger warnings stated before each chapter in case anything isn’t your cup of tea or will be an issue for you. Other wise, full send and fulfill some of your darkest fantasies.

I am FANNING myself as I write this. Scorching hot. 10/5 flames.

I was intrigued by the title and description, but I wasn't sure how much I would get into short stories. I am SO glad I took a chance and picked this up.

A few things of note:
1. I appreciated the content warnings at the beginning of each story. This is really sensitive to readers who may be triggered by certain interests/ kinks. It doesn't yuck anyone's yum or presume which I like.

2. Another aspect of the short story previews is that you can finish a story in a sitting or search based on what you're interested in. The stories are all period pieces but aren't interconnected. It allows for a la carte reading.

3. I love the juxtaposition of period properness and just hot kinkiness because it makes it feel extra naughty!

I'd recommend this book to any erotica lover.

An interesting variety of stories. The time period made them seem like a very explicit romance novel. ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.

Thank you publisher and NetGalley for this eArc in exchange for an honest review.

Not sure If the title does it for me, but let me tell you, everything else does.
This is a collection of spicy short historic stories. Written so well, it’s perfect combination of romantic and erotic, every story quite unique. I really enjoyed the fact that never at any point has it been forgotten in which time period this is set, so those social and society expectations are respected and perfectly fit into this story. You will enjoy it and all i can do is wholeheartedly recommend this!

This was very well put together. I liked how there was a synopsis at the beginning of the anthology and then a trigger warning before each book so you knew what you were going to be reading. There was definitely something for everyone. I didn't realize all would be historical but it ended up making sense to have them all in one time period for ease of reading.

A steamy collection of erotica short stories. There is a great variety and something for all tastes. I really liked the fact that there is a trigger warning before each story.

My thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.

An interesting variety of stories (FFM, MFM, and MM) and content. As with any short story collection the tales are a bit hit or miss (a few were dull and others bordered intriguing to the point where I wanted the "steamy" scenes to go away so we could get back to the plot). There's a rather brilliant idea to include content warnings before each novella, which may be beneficial for some readers.

Overall well worth a read if this is your type of thing (and the fact that you're looking at reviews likely means it is). While not every story was a hit for me personally, enough were to make the collection collection well worth your time. 4/5 stars

An amazing array of stories that will titillate your being. I appreciated the trigger warnings before each novella. These were not shirt stories but novellas. Some were in eras long past and others were closer to this century. There is something for everyone. Each character is crafted with care. A welcome addition to every collection.

Very smutty. I enjoyed the variety, it had a story for everyone. Short, sweet and to the point. A fun read.

This was really good! Apricated all the sexual pairings (FFM, MFM, and MM), orientations (gay, lesbian, bi, and asexual), and gender (transgender). Also nice that were content warnings before each novella.

This is officially going to be the 'hottest, dirtiest, and smuttiest' book I've ever read. Even starting from the 1st short story 'The Gift' has left me in goosebump and it's so so dirty, omg. Anyway I enjoyed it but still it's too bothering for me to read this.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the eARC
