I've read and enjoyed a few books by Kellie Hailes so I was delighted to see that she had a new book, especially one with such a gorgeous cover.
I love the sound of Paige's Bridal Boutique, even if she is cynical about weddings and romance.
This is a fun and easygoing read, good for relaxing with in the Summer. It is enjoyable and entertaining.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC.

Loved this easy read. All relationships need love, trust and communication and the relationship between Paige and Cy outlines maybe they don’t have it all.

Really enjoyed this read, loved the storyline and the setting all about Paige who is a cynic when it comes to love ( having seen her mother married several time and all have failed ) who actually owns a second hand wedding dress shop meets the mysterious and romantic Cy who she assumes is her mother's new love interest to turn out to be the wedding planner for her mum's wedding to simon
Can Cy help break down paige's barriers and make her learn to trust in romance ?
A lovely story with a few bumps in the road for Paige and Cy but love wins in the end

I’ve read and enjoyed several books by Kellie Hailes, so I was pleased to receive an ARC of The New Beginnings Bridal Boutique.

I loved Paige’s bridal boutique, and her passion for remaking things that aren’t perfect. I liked Paige too. Unfortunately, my enjoyment of this book was rather hindered by the fact that I really disliked Cy. His behaviour in the first half to three quarters of the story was manipulative, bordering on controlling. I really can’t stand people who force others into spending time with them, by making a bet, then telling the person they’re a coward if they don’t agree.

The writing is excellent and although they seemed so totally wrong for each other for most of the book, once Cy realised how awful he was being (not to mention cowardly - it annoyed me that no one called him on his cowardliness when he was constantly needling Paige about hers), I felt like they might have a chance. And I really, really liked the epilogue.

Overall, this was a well written romance, but I just didn’t enjoy it as much as most, as Cy made such a poor impression on me that I just couldn’t like him. However, if you’re less bothered by that kind of behaviour than me, then this is a good, fun romance.

I was given a free copy of this book, my opinions are my own.

I absolutely adored this so much , I found once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down. I loved the set up of a romantic and a cynic trying to meet in the middle, but what I loved the most - communication, it may sound mad but it drives me mad in books when communication causes the drama, none of that here. Two lead characters proving that communication, patience, loyalty kindness make a relationship, I just adored this so much . Cannot recommend highly enough, want some escapism, happiness, lovely writing and great characters, dive into this now !

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

A short, fun read.

Paige owns a bridal shop, but after seeing her mother go through 3 weddings, she is not convinced about love.

Cy prioritises work, not wanting to be left with nothing like he was when he was a child. He will fall in love when his business is more secure. But then he meets Paige - can he convince her to give love a chance?

You know for an owner of a bridal shop you're awfully cynical about marriage.'

As the owner of a second-hand bridal boutique in the little village of Alfriston, Paige Alby has seen too many tear-stained owners bring in wedding dresses that signal collapsed dreams to believe in happily ever after. So being the maid of honour at her mother's fourth wedding isn't exactly something she's looking forward to... Nor is the prospect of working with Cy, her mother's admittedly handsome but far too forward wedding planner.

Cy Thorpe has spent the last few years building a wedding empire in London catering to the rich and famous. On a trip home to see his family, he takes on a small private wedding on a whim. The last thing he expected to find was love, but the more time he spends with Paige, the more he sees past her defences to the woman who has dedicated her life to saving the things others have neglected. The hopeless romantic to Paige's sworn cynic, can Cy get Paige to give him and happily ever after a chance?
A warm, emotional and uplifting novel I would recommend to all.

This book is all about what happens when a great romantic meets a love cynic, using his penchant for gambling and bets to score dates, Cy begins his romance with Paige. She is so scared of falling in love that she doesn’t believe it exists. Just when he manages to convince her that he is worth taking a chance on and true love does exist, he expects her to drop her life and move to London.. This story brings to the fore that communication, trust and compromise are the foundation of every relationship, Paige overcomes great barriers to find the joy in both their relationship and the one with her mother. A very emotional journey that is a delight to read.
