The only good thing that saved this book from 1 star was the vampires. They were pretty nasty vampires akin to the more modern pack fighting vampires such as those in blade or 30 days of night. The kind who like to play with their food.
The book was written, to me, like someone making notes and didn't seem to make much sense at some parts. I really don't like giving bad reviews, and I honestly think the premise of the book with its unknowing magical slayer finding her way into the supernatural world, would make a good book if it was written well. It was a fast read, with a few good parts (the ones with the vampires).

Thankyou so much to netgalley and the publisher for allowing me early access to this.
This is definitely different to what I normally read. I initially thought it was a graphic novel due to the cover and overall initial style. When I started it also felt like seperate stories but once you get into it they merge together.

The story is interesting and definitely keeps you intriguedin where its heading. Sometimes the words all merge together which makes it hard to read, I think that's a problem with the download not the way it was written.

This book was filled with great suspense and description. An interesting topic of astral projection, vampires and more.

I did struggled to keep up with it at points and got alittle bored part way through but overall not a bad read.

I received a copy of this through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

I will admit that when I first saw this I was intrigued, and I listened to the audio trailer for it and my interest was immediately peaked. That being said it was hard for me to delve into. I found it hard to follow at points and at other points I found it intolerable to read. This had potential to become great, but it fell short.

Do not like giving poor reviews, I know that there will be people out there who love this, I am just not one of them.
