This is the first book I've read by Olivia Dade and it is pretty perfect beach read. A little more explicit than what I usually read but there's humor, romance, misunderstanding, fat acceptance, ADHD, and more. The characters are well defined and the switching viewpoints, that can get confusing, was well done. I would gladly read another book about these two characters. The humor between the two is a pleasure to read.

After reading Spoiler Alert, I was so excited to read Alex and Lauren's story and it did not disappoint! I loved Alex and Lauren's relationship and I also appreciate the fanfiction aspect of these books. As someone who read a lot of fanfic growing up, it's nice to see it featured in these stories where it's appreciated and not mocked. I liked that the 2 characters slowly got to know each other and fall in love. It's also so wonderful to see a fat heroine and have the character written with care and respect. This book was so sweet and I hope there are more books in this series!

I will read any book that Olivia Dade comes out with! I love her writing style and characterization and this novel is no different.

Thank you Netgalley for approving an e-arc of this book!
TW/CW:
domestic abuse, fat shaming, insults of ones appearance, violence, mentions of ADHD
This was so much fun oh my god. After reading Spoiler Alert i was so excited to read this. Alex is so adorable and sweet and he reminds me of a puppy:) ALEX IS THE BIGGEST SIMP OMGGGG Lauren is so perfrct for him oml. their relationship is ADORABLE.
The way the fanfic aspect plays a lot more into this book than the last one i loved. I think this book talks about a lot of important topics and it's definitely not what it looks like. unlike Spoiler Alert, this is a big SLOWBURN. And the way alex defends her AH- pls. i absolutely loved this book so so much i just wish it was out already:,( please please go pre order this and read Spoiler Alert while you wait "though they can be read as standalones:)
All the Feels comes out october 26!!!

ALL THE FEELS by Olivia Dade. This was a fun read - I enjoyed both characters and liked how they were soooo different. It was fun watching Lauren bloom and Alexander discover more about himself too. Ms. Dade wrote in a style I enjoyed and created characters that warmed my heart. This is a first by this author for me but it will most certainly, not be the last. (received NetGalley ARC for honest review)

Fans of Spoiler Alert should enjoy this sequel, which like its predecessor includes neurodiversity and fat positivity. Personally I preferred the couple in the first book, which is just one of those things about romances - you have to like the people to like the book! - although I enjoyed this one very much.
I will say that while Alex never makes disparaging comments about Lauren's weight or features, he does constantly take "just kidding" jabs at her height, which is ALSO PART OF HER APPEARANCE. That felt a little off - clearly Dade knows you can argue with somebody without talking about how they look, and insulting a woman's height tends to be much less mean than insulting her nose or her weight, but it's still body talk and it felt out of place for a book this sensitive and smart. The book is otherwise so perfect with regards to consent, apologies, emotional wellness, etc.
I do have to ask - where on god's green earth was the pegging?! Come on. We were robbed.

spoiler alert was my favorite book of 2020, so of course all the feels was my most anticipated read of the year. at this point, everything i have read by olivia dade has been delightful and this book was not different. i loved alex and lauren’s love story.
as you can know from the blurb, lauren is hired to keep an eye on alex so he doesn’t get into trouble until the last season of gods of the gates airs. alex is very impulsive, but this is what makes him such a lovely, great character. he’s my favorite character in the book because of how big and pure his heart is. also, once i learnt about his backstory, i couldn’t help but love him even more because i could relate to him (content warning will be mentioned by the end of the review). alex has adhd and his portrayal is amazing, especially so the people who don’t know how it really feels to have it can understand it a bit better. i love all of olivia’s heroes, but i think alex has become my new favorite. as for lauren, i adored her as well. her selflessness, all the sacrifices she’s made for everyone, even for strangers… i loved that part of her, but i was also rooting for her to choose herself, to protect herself as fiercely as she protected everyone else. her character has a beautiful development, and i loved every part of it.
my favorite part of this book, as it is in literally every book by olivia, was the dialogue. in my opinion, the characters carry the biggest part of her books, and the smart, funny but serious dialogues make her books addictive. she always manages to include some heavy topics in her books, but reading it does not feel heavy at all. it feels like learning, like she’s teaching you someone’s story simply to help you understand feelings and emotions. for this, i will read every book by her. i love the way she reaches to my heart.
i can’t give this book five stars because there was something i didn’t particularly enjoy, but overall, this story was everything i was hoping for alex and lauren.
out october 26th :)
content warning: domestic violence

I was surprised I liked this book more than the first one! It was sweet and funny and sexy and very empowering. I loved it.

First, I want to thank Olivia Dade, Avon Publishing, and Netgalley for the ARC of All the Feels, Spoiler Alert number 2.
All the Feels takes us back to the end of filming the fictional television show, God of the Gates. This time, we're with Alex, the short tempered actor playing the character Cupid. He's just shown up on the set of the show with a black eye after being arrested during a bar room fight. It's the last straw for the producer, Ron, who has now roped his cousin, Lauren, into being Alex's minder from this point until the series finale final episode airs. Lauren is a psychologist who is taking some time away from working in emergency medicine after becoming burnt out. She and Alex have very little in common and no attraction to each other. Once they get back to California from the Spanish set, Lauren moves and both Lauren and Alex start peeling the layers back off of each other. Alex has started to write fanfiction, like Marcus, but his also shows his disgust with how his character has developed. Alex and Lauren start seeing each other in different light and Alex starts to become very protective of her. One bad run in with a fan and a horrible email from Ron and Alex impulsively acts. Will he be able to find his way back? Will Lauren be able to realize that she is important?
All the Feels, definitely gave me "all the feels." One part I really appreciate Dade doing through these books is shining a light onto different learning differences and helping to show representation through that. Alex had ADHD and it's awesome to see that being presented in a positive manner and that Alex actively tries to help himself. Another way that Dade has representation in her novels is that her female characters are never the "Hollywood" type. They are every day women who are not super skinny and get the hunky actor. It's another great way to show representation. All the Feels was just a fun story, with a little meat to it, that was a great follow up to Spoiler Alert. Thank you again to Netgalley, Olivia Dade, and Avon publishing for the chance to read this one early.

I loved book 1 and wasn’t sure that book 2 could possibly live up to it, but it does! This one is even better than book 1 and I absolutely adore it! I couldn’t stop reading until I finished it all in one read and it is glorious. I love the characters, how they work everything out. This is so witty, I couldn’t stop snorting with laughter. And so touching I could stop with the tears. Cannot wait to see what she writes next!

If you enjoyed Spoiler Alert, you probably remember Alex, Marucs' best friend and co-star in a big-budget fantasy TV show. Alex is a loose cannon if ever there was one, and has caught flack from industry bigwigs. This leads to him being assigned a "minder," someone to keep him in line until the finale of Gods of the Gates airs.
That's where Lauren comes in- her asshole cousin, one of the honchos on Gods of the Gates, asks her to take care of Alex. While Lauren has been trying to take a well-deserved vacation, she knows her family would tell her to take the job as a favor. Plus, the gig is a lot cushier than she's used to, and will provide a financial cushion.
Lauren has to keep Alex in sight pretty much all the time, and they eventually become friendly. Still, Lauren finds it increasingly difficult to keep emotional distance from the Alex behind the gorgeous exterior. Alex is facing some equally difficult choices, as his public perception is in the toilet; and he is facing the release of the last season of a show he used to be proud of, but can't stand behind anymore.

I adored Alex and Lauren. They both have obvious flaws, and those flaws make a lot of sense given their backgrounds and the choices they have made. Alex in particular makes this book a favorite for me. He's just so darling, and you don't usually see a grumpy/sunshine where the guy gets to be sunshine! Alex has a lot of internal conflict, and despite acting like an open book he is a private person. I loved seeing him do things on his own terms. I also loved Lauren growing to advocate for herself and see her worth better, her journey from feelings of inadequacy and exhaustion to a more joyful, full life is compelling. Dade's characters really make this book, and I can't say enough good things about them. The dialogue is sparkling, it's funny as hell, and I just can't recommend it enough.

Fade follows up Spoiler Alert with everyone’s favorite Cupid. Alex Woodrow co-star of a wildly popular tv series has a reputation as a wild card. After a night out goes off the rails, he’s assigned a minder in the form of no-nonsense ER therapist Lauren Clegg. The pair discover that their public persona’s don’t necessarily line up with who they really are in private.
This is a slow burn romance with serious heat and lots of heart.

Unfortunately All The Feels did not work for me. Spoiler Alert was one of the best romances I read in 2020 so I went into this one with very high expectations. While I love Alex as a character, the relationship between him and Lauren fell flat. I found myself constantly having to suspend my disbelief that a relationship like theirs would work. The author, through Alex, spent an extreme amount of time convincing the reader just how unattractive Lauren was. The amount of times her crooked nose, avian features, and extremely round body was mentioned made me uncomfortable. I hesitate to say whether or not I will read from Olivia Dade in the future.

Olivia Dade continues to write the sweetest love stories, and absolutely give me all the feels.
Alex and Lauren are loveable and relatable characters that will have you cursing and praising them in equal measure. Both characters have a lot of healing to do inside their relationship and out, which makes for a gripping story I did NOT want to put down.
This book absolutely stands up to its predecessor “Spoiler Alert”. It brings the same “cute nerdy couple” energy, but with a very different storyline which was refreshing. I also loved the plus sized representation and ADHD representation in this book. Can’t wait to see what’s next from Olivia Dade!
TW: mentions of domestic abuse, fat-shaming, explicit sexual content (18+)

'Spoiler Alert' was one of my favorite books of 2020, so when I saw there was a second book in the same universe, I had to get my hands on it someway, somehow. Luckily, Netgalley and Avon had my back!
Alex captivated me from the very beginning of the book. He's over-the-top funny, sarcastic, and full of energy and life. Lauren, on the other hand, is more reserved. I loved watching these two get to know each other better and become real friends and companions. I was nervous this wouldn't live up to the hype I built in my head, but it surpassed it! It's funny, heartwarming, steamy, and oh so very cute! Plus, we love seeing a MC with neurodiversity and a plus-sized heroine! I will read anything Olivia Dade writes because she is just so special and talented in the Rom-Com world.

My favorite thing about this book was the way Alex and Lauren communicate with each other. Alex is a TV star on a hit show but he's his own worst enemy when it comes to the paparazzi. To keep him in line, the studio hires Lauren, full figured rather plain looking former ER therapist. Lauren is used to being the butt of jokes and understands that Alex is lashing out at her because he is angry and humiliated. She tries not to take anything he says personally but it's hard at times. The deadpan way Lauren responds to Alex's constant need for attention and efforts to get rid of her are comedic gold. As they begin to learn more about each other their relationship changes and deepens, Highly recommended.

Big Harpy Energy is the mindset I really need in 2021.
Olivia Dade’s books are all wonderful, and this is no exception. Alex is the perfect mix of snarky and vulnerable, in a way that’s softer than many romance heroes are allowed to be. Lauren is amazing, and I really connected with her tendency to put on a polite face and just try to get through horrible things without considering how they impact her feelings or her dignity. Together they are even better than they are separate, which is just what I come to romance to find.
One minor quibble and slight spoiler: for a book that makes so many jokes about pegging, it’s a slight let-down to never get to enjoy it on the page. I feel like we missed out on The Peg That Was Promised!

I LOVE this book. All the Feels gave me All the Feels, I know---I couldn't help it. It's hard not to enjoy the characters, especially if you loved Spoiler Alert, but there's something very unique and special about Alex Woodroe. Olivia Dade gave me the male love interest I never knew I' needed until he was on the page, talking nonstop (which could have been frustrating in person but is totally endearing in lovable and I just want to hug him [with consent]), and who is pure chaos. As an agent of chaos myself, this had me entirely engrossed. I love him. I love them together. I root for them. Also, I'm a huge fan of big girls living and loving their best lives!! Olivia Dade, thank you for this.

THIS BOOK WAS PERFECT! It's not every day where you find a good plus-size romance with a confident character. I loved watching our couple evolve and grow throughout this story!

In All the Feels, Lauren is assigned to Alex as a minder since he cannot seem to stop getting himself in trouble. Alex is a famous actor struggling with the way the final season of his show ended and Lauren just needs a break from working in the ER as a therapist.
This book was amazing just like I knew it would be based on the previous book. I came for the plus sized inclusion and stayed for my lovable Alex and my harpy Lauren. There both are dealing with a lot of their own internalized issues which of course blow up in their faces. But I love the way they work through things together. The way Alex learns to actually eat breakfast before his ADHD meds. Even though one of the characters is a rich TV star, it still is relatable. I think everyone has been insecure at one time or other. I definitely related a lot with Lauren. For me, this was a 4.5/5.
If you like fanfic writing tv stars, a woman with severe sarcasm, or characters that cause their own problems, then this one is for you.
I received a digital copy of this book free from Netgalley and Avon and Harper Voyager in exchange for an honest review.
