Alexander Woodroe is a famous actor on the TV show Gods of the Gates. The showrunner thinks that Alex is out of control and is creating too much bad publicity, so he hires Lauren Clegg to be his watch over him and prevent him from getting into trouble. Lauren Clegg used to work as an ER therapist before she burned out at her job, and she is determined to maintain a professional relationship with Alex. Lauren and Alex grow close as they spend so much time together, and Lauren beings to see that Alex is not as wild as people make him out to be. Alex is intensely loyal to the people he cares about, and he is willing to put everything on the line when standing up for his beliefs. Lauren must decide if pursuing a relationship with Alex is worth it if she is the thing standing in the way of his career.

I loved the vulnerability of Alex and the strength of Lauren. The numerous references to fandom and fanfiction were great, and fanfiction fans will really appreciate it. I think Dade did a great job of showing the different layers of Alex. The chemistry between Alex and Lauren was undeniable. Although this is second in the Spoiler Alert series, it can be read as a standalone. Fans of Helen Hoang will love this book.

I LOVED the first half of the book, the fun banter between Lauren and Alex was so cute and the premise for following him around was something I have never read before. But, the second half kind of dragged for me, they were doing a lot of introspection and working on themselves which is great but I just didn’t care and wanted more of them when they actually got together

Olivia Dade makes another good rom-com! All the Feels has one bed trope, friends to lovers, fan-fiction, self discovery, and slow burn romance. I read Spoiler Alert right before starting this and I would recommend reading it before because characters show up again.

I think Spoiler Alert was a stronger book, but I also enjoyed this addition to the series. Alex and Lauren are a cute couple and I enjoyed the slow burn nature of their romance. Unlike some other romance companion series, I do think that for this you have to read Spoiler Alert first. All the Feels lacked the same context on the show history. Not a problem for readers of the first book, but it could be an issues. Otherwise, I liked the chemistry and most of their scenes, but as was my problem with the first book, there is a threshold of cheesiness that this series sometimes crosses. I found it cute nonetheless but also was shaking my head at some of the sillier scenes and moments. If you enjoy over-the-top fanfiction though, you'd enjoy this. It's an ode to a lot of popular tropes in fan-fiction and is fully conscious of that fact throughout, making it really fun.

I absolutely adored Spoiler Alert, so it was unfortunate and disappointing that I did not enjoy this one as much.

First off, the plot kind of felt non-existent in this book... things were supposedly happening but it felt like nothing really actually did. A lot of the events in the book and moments that led to Lauren and Alex being in certain situations just felt unrealistic. Even worse, a lot of the tine they spent together in the beginning where they got to know each other and spend alone time together was glossed over... there were a lot of time jumps in this book especially in the beginning and that just left me feeling unsatisfied and as if I was missing something. For me, in a romance book, I really enjoy seeing the characters interact and learn about each other and grow to understand one another, so those moments spent together in the beginning are some of my favorites and sadly those were not present in this book.

Secondly, the relationship between Lauren and Alex felt kind of... forced. I didn't feel the chemistry between the characters, which made me really sad, because it was dripping between them in the few moments they showed up in Spoiler Alert. The characters themselves were pretty good, interesting enough and well-developed, but a lot of that got lost along the way. By the time they actually got together, I didn't really care anymore and was bored... I had to force myself to read the last 200 pages of the book.

Sadly, this just wasn't my cup of tea.

Love the plus size heroine as I experience many of her issues as well. The hero is funny and spastic as it follows his traits for ADHD. I enjoyed this novel until about a third of the way through and then it just started to drag on and on and on. Relating the same conflict at least four times.

I will GLEEFULLY read anything featuring ADHD chaos demon Alex and his long suffering, but super loved Lauren. I can’t wait for the next story in this series.

The ONLY complaint I have is not enough pegging. (If you read Spoiler Alert, you know why.)

But that’s not even a real complaint. More of a suggestion for some intrepid fanfic.

Olivia Dade has done such a wonderful job creating the characters and universe of Spoiler Alert and All the Feels. This book was so much fun! I hope there are more for the ladies of Gods of the Gates (Summer, Carah). Can’t wait to see what’s next!

This is one of the best books I have read all year! Alex and Lauren are polar opposites. While Alex, the famous actor, is reckless and wild; Lauren, the former ER therapist, is anything but. That is why, Lauren's cousin (Alex's boss), puts Lauren in charge of keeping Alex in line. However, as they are forced to spend more time together, feelings of friendship and maybe even love start to grow.

One aspect of this stellar book is that Lauren is a plus size woman, which is not commonly seen in contemporary romance and Lauren's weight is not the main focus of the book. It is refreshing to read a book where the main character is plus size and they are not actively trying to change that. This book also includes fun elements of fan fiction!

I loved this book so much. I love the cover. I love the characters. I love the story. I love every single thing about it. I laughed so hard I had the tears. I love it. I love it. I love it. I think I need the paperback so I can read it again and again and again and look at it always. 

Lauren is not like other heroines. She is strong, but has insecurities. She is a realist, and I love her for it. I want to rail at her parents for missing some pretty critical signs of trouble throughout her life. Though she is completely burnt out from her very draining job and family life, she is perfectly lovely.

My husband and my best friend both live with ADHD. It was fun to see their struggle represented in a romance novel. Alex is absolutely adorable! If Alex was a dog, he would be a Labrador. He needs constant attention and validation, but he is positively precious. 

Alex and Lauren have such cute chemistry. They have their share of miscommunication and strife, but they work it all out for a fantastic happily ever after. I cannot recommend this book enough. I actually read it before Spoiler Alert, but my paperback of Spoiler Alert should be in the mail any day now. I cannot wait to read Marcus' story.

Oh, I loooooved this. I know it was the second in a series I didn't read the initial novel for, but I don't care. It didn't slow me down one bit, because I looooved this. I don't mean in a light way, no. I mean I seriously loooooved this book. Although, to be really honest, if I were a better adjusted and more stable woman, would this probably be closer to a three-star book? Yeah, maybe. But I'm not, and it's just not a three-star book. Ugh, my traitorous heart. At one point I scolded myself for smiling so widely for so long. “You’re giving yourself wrinkles!” I chided, then immediately after my heart replies, “Your Alex is out there and he loves your laugh lines.” Disgusting.

Ugh, okay. All the Feels follows Alexander Woodroe—successful actor, wealthy bachelor, and renown troublemaker—on the path to redemption following a bar fight, yet another strike on his record. The show runners for his show Gods of the Gates, in between running his character arc into the ground and generally being jerks, have brought in a glorified babysitter to keep him on the straight and narrow until the finale. Enter: Lauren Clegg, ER therapist on the last leg of a vacation following a bad case of burnout. And then they fall in LOVE YOU GUYS.

I loved these characters. Alex is kind of immature but he brings out the best in people, and he brings levity even as he battles his own demons, his own insecurities. He's also relentlessly protective, loyal to a fault, and really a lovely human being. Lauren is wry and clever, quick-witted and balances Alex out nicely. Their banter was hilarious, genuine, and leftest the feeling all sorts of soft for them.

A+ representation of a fat woman who has a beautiful, fully-formed personality outside of her weight., A+ book where the primary plot isn't a guy helping a fat girl overcome her multitude of insecurities, A+ representation of ADHD that is realistic and openly medicated without shame or stigmatization. Realistic representations and honest insecurities and just...crap, y'all. I don't know. I finished this two days ago and my heart is still overflowing. Learning to love each other, all the faults, flaws, and trauma. Once I got past the fanfiction thing (not my thing, threw me for a minute, but I got over it quickly), I was here for it all. Ron is kind of cartoonishly evil, but I wasn’t bothered by it. It didn't really make it unbelievable because as unfortunate as it is, there are people like him in the world. Bullies and heartless people who somehow see an inverse relationship between a person's weight and their worth.

Okay, but still. Once I stopped swooning I did have to look at it a little more objectively. Which is to say I know it won't be for everyone. Alex is a little immature, Lauren is very reserved. I think they balance each other out nicely, but I can see it giving others pause. A lot of the issues they encounter could be resolved with better communication, but that's every romance these days. Don't let it put you off too much. If you aren't into fanfiction, it's a very particular genre. It does show up here and there, but I didn't find it overbearing.

All in all, 4.5 stars and because I am just THAT excited to finally have a good romance with a fat woman in the lead where it's openly talked about and not in a mocking way, not in a way where it's insinuated that her weight needs to change before she can be loved, before she can be desirable, before she can be happy, I'm rounding it up to 5 stars. I feel like this is what I've been trying to find for the last like 6 months and everything I was reading just wasn't hitting the mark for me.

Seriously, I have another seven or so paragraphs on this book in my drafts because there were so many things I wanted to address. If you're looking for a sweet and funny romance to fill your Saturday, I cannot recommend All the Feels enough.

This is definitely the right romance novel for someone, but I couldn't get through it. I DNF'd around 70-80%.

It was just really hard for me to imagine a 39 year old man who legitimately whines all of the time (like the dialogue tag says "he whines" and the like) and not be completely uninterested. His dialogue always felt a little childish for me. I understand that 39 year old internationally famous actors aren't all regal poise, but I think I would have related to him more as a 19 year old than I do now at 28.

Lauren/Wren/Nanny Clegg was... fine. It was hard for me to imagine her, I think because she kept being described as a bird. Nothing wrong with birds, it just made it a little harder for my brain to put those features on a human body. That combined with her very reserved personality meant I didn't really get a chance to relate to her much.

So, maybe if you're a fan of fanfiction (which features super heavily in this story) or a sillier, more comedic kind of romance novel, this is for you. If the things I mentioned don't sound like hard "no"s, give it a try.

All the Feels is the second book in the Spoiler Alert universe. Additionally, I have read the books in the Marysburg universe so definitely a fan overall. All that being said, this might be my Olivia Dade book! What did I enjoy 1) Alex’s personality leaped off the page. He felt multi-dimensional in a way that I think is sometimes forgotten with the male protagonist. 2) Their chemistry developed so naturally and the dialogue between Alex and Lauren was to die for. 3) The inclusion of fan fiction 4) that moment when everyone’s favorite romance trope comes up and everyone, including Alex, is excited. In conclusion, I think this is a funny, well developed addition to the Spoiler alert universe!

This was, of course, an absolute delight. I loved Lauren and Alex. I loved the metaness that showed up at certain points. Just so much fun and full of heart.

I very much enjoyed this book. The pacing made this an easy read and I loved seeing a plus size girl in the starring role of a romance novel.

The Sequel. Now better than the original.

Honestly, I had such high expectations when I started reading this that I really thought I would end up disappointed. I have never been happier to be wrong! This story lived up to and exceeded my expectations.

I loved getting to see the other side of events that were mentioned in Spoiler Alert. (If you haven’t read Marcus & April’s story you really should. You don’t have to read it to enjoy this one, but you are going to want to read it if you like this.) I desperately wanted to know where Alex went after his interview at the Con of the Gates and what was going on with him and Lauren whenever they were mentioned in Spoiler Alert. This book answered all of those questions and told a beautiful, often hilarious, love story.

I can’t wait for my pre-ordered print copy to arrive! Rereading this is going to be a quotable joyride!!!

Curvaceous and burnt out Lauren is just looking to relax and unwind in Spain when she is guilt tripped into being the professional minder of a bar brawling TV star. Friendship and romance unfold in this fun follow up novel. This book has humor, heat, golden retriever boyfriend vibes, and a great slow burn with a big finish. It falls upon some tried and true tropes, only one bed? Oh no ;). A great summer read!

Okay so this was my first Olivia Dade novel (I have Spoiler Alert on my shelf just haven’t gotten to it yet) and I was not disappointed. I related with the female protagonist quite a bit. Alex may possibly be my new male fiction crush. He is such a big hearted, sarcastic smartass and I love it. I will admit I wasn’t sure about the authenticity of his feelings at first, it felt kind of instaloveish, which I am not really a big fan of. But the the end I was grinning from their love, it was so adorable! I think I need to go read Spoiler Alert now!

I basically love everything about this book and series. I LOVE the dedication and was hooked from before page 1. All The Feels definitely lives up to its name. I was laughing, crying and mushy at different points. This story is in the same universe as 'Spoiler Alert' with some overlap, but is a new story, giving Alex and Lauren their time to shine. While Marcus was great, I just LOVE Alex and think that others will too!! He is sweet and protective....and maybe a little impulsive in the best way.

This book makes me feel so comfy and seen and hopeful as a fat person. It is sweet and romantic, the characters love all of each other and I am ABOUT it! While this book is TOTALLY sweet and fun, it is also deeper and really shows the way fat people are seen and treated in our society.

Reading this book in print (usually, I listen to audiobooks) was so much fun!!! As a huge fanfic nerd, I loved the moments where different fanfictions were featured because it really felt like reading on Archive of our own, in the best way possible! The inclusion of their own fantasy series makes this more fun and relatable, allowing the reader to imagine this as their fandom and their dream. I have preordered my copy and cannot wait to start lending it out!

All the Feels did just that with its charming and witty writing from Olivia Dade. The second book in the 'Spoiler Alert' series does not disappoint.

Lauren Clegg is an ER therapist who needs a break from her busy and draining career. So, with the help of one of her cousins, she becomes a 'nanny' to a TV hottie. Her cousin isn't the nicest person but she accepts the job. It can't be that bad right?!

Alex Woodroe is a sexy actor from one of the hottest shows, God of the Gates. He likes to speak his mind and when he is having issues with the scripts at work that anger just continues to build up. That is until a bar fight and the cops are called. To help deal with the aftermath of the bad press the writers of the show hire a minder to be with him every single minute to make sure he doesn't do any more damage.

Lauren and Alex are both so unique and quirky and no one expects them to have chemistry, but they have SPARKS! Their witty banter makes me laugh so hard. Alex is more than just a pretty face. He is so kind, protective, and a bit nerdy. His love of fanfics and pegging is just wild and hilarious. Lauren is so strong, smart, and has a heart of gold. They both have their insecurities and that somehow bonds them making them want to protect each other.

I loved that Olivia Dade created a heroine who isn't your 'model type' of female. She has a body that is real with curves. I think she wrote the ups and downs of trying to be body positive perfectly. Lauren is such a wonderful character and so is Alex. His protective nature is sweet and admirable. He may seem perfect like a god he plays on TV but he has his fair share of problems, insecurities, and fears. I think these characters are so relatable and readers will easily be attracted to the pair.

I give All the Feels 4 stars. It's a witty, sweet, and unexpected romance. Olivia Dade's quirky and comedic writing shines in this book. I hope to read more from this author in the future!
