The third book in the Berlin Bookmobile Series. This book was just as fun and interesting to read as the others. Atle Petersheim works hard in his wood shop. He always loved Sadie Mast from afar. Her husband died and now she is a widow. Atle knew that Sadie's husband was a harsh man to live with. When Sadie asks Atle's help to built a bedroom in her barn for her son Cale. Atle goes to the bookmobile for help on courting. This is a lovely book with humor. Thanks NetGalley and Gallery books for allowing me to read it. This is my honest opinion.

Sadie and Atle are both in their mid-years, dealing with jobs, families, and other responsibilities. It would seem that the time for romance is past, but then a romance book comes to town and begins shaking things up. There are two romance stories interwoven in this novel, one of older love and one of new, young love, and they work nicely together. The Christmas setting is less of a character and more of a backdrop. Not my favorite SSG book, but a nice Christmas read just the same!
