It's officially over and now I don't know what to write. How do you review this? How can someone find the right words to encompass everything that happened from beginning to the End? The literal end because there's no more. No more adventures, no more teen drama, no more tropes that made me go into furious mode, no more anything. It's sad but at the same time I know what happened, I know where I'm leaving the characters, I can move on and remember the good and the bad things, let's say, fondly.

Did I think this book was trying too much in some points? Yes, I did.
Did some parts dragged? Yes, they did.
Were some parts unnecessary long when they didn't bring much to the story but were sort of fillers at that point? Yes. there were.

The writing, as usual, is funny (but as I said above, sometimes it felt like it was trying too much to be "cool") and captivating, making the sci-fi technicalities seem less ominous that they actually were. I liked the whole concept this book had going on. Not spoiling anything here so I won't say anything more. It's the kind of concept that makes you go "wait a sec, let me see if I got this. It appears I didn't get a thing" and it's just amazing just trying to guess exactly what is what and what's going to happen.

So yeah, this ending was better than the furious middle, and, even with the few problems I had with it (maybe I'm not just used to YA sci-fi anymore) I still enjoyed the hell out of it.

I'm going to miss the squad!

A fantastic conclusion to a wonderful series! I would recommend this to any of my teens! The ending had me so emotional and I am going to miss these characters dearly. Now, Im going to go cry because I already miss them!

I do not know how I was blessed with an ARC of this, but thank you NetGalley gods for bestowing this book to me!

I will say that I loved the first two books in this series. Going into this book I was so nervous. You know how you love a series, and then you get to the last book and it just bombs? Luckily, this was not the case with Aurora's End. It was epic, fast-paced, and full of all the characters I love. The ending, while a little predictable, was still really enjoyable.

Without giving any spoilers, Finn, Scarlet, and Zila's story line was most definitely my favorite.

Wow! What a wonderful end to the trilogy. Nothing like a group of young folks to save the entire universe. I was easily pulled back into the story and had a really rough time putting it down to go to work. Well worth the read.

I have been waiting with anxious, nay baited, breath for the third book in this trilogy ever since my breathless one day reading of book two ended on the worst cliffhanger of all time. Thankfully Netgalley exists and I managed to snag a free eARC of this third installment months before I would otherwise have been able to read it. That being said, take my glowing comments with the appropriate grain of salt as I both a) love these authors and loved both previous books in the series and b) received my copy of the book for free in exchange for an honest review.
That being said, I’m not sure how much I can rave about this wonderful ending to the series, given the cliffhanger at the end of the second book, as anything I say (including who is and is not alive a few chapters in) would be spoiling a truly epic tale. I will say that I finally understand why the authors chose to use so many points to view in their story, time travel does get involved (you find this out right away, so I maintain it is not cheating to tell you all) and poor Squad 312 gets thrown into three separate places along the timeline. Other than that, I can only tell you that you should re-watch Groundhog Day again before reading this one and that it is well worth the time to finish out this wonderful series by reading the final, astounding book.
So, dear fellow readers, I leave you with one final benediction, “I will see you in the stars”.

OMG THIS BOOK - I loved this amazing ride of a story and can't wait to get the final copy on my shelf and revisit Squad 312 again in the very near future!

Thank you so much for the early copy of this!

Thank you so much, Random House Children's, Knopf Books for Young Readers and NetGalley, for the chance to read and review this book in exchange of an honest review!

Aurora's end is the brilliant and thrilling finale in the epic Aurora Cycle series and I loved every second of it!
Aurora's end starts right away after the crazy cliffhanger of Aurora's burning and we find our beloved characters, involved in a intergalactic battle and against an ancient superweapon, when, apparently, everything goes horribly wrong. But nothing is like it seems. Squad 312 fight to save the whole galaxy and each other, finding themselves separated. Zila, Fin, Scarlett and MAGELLAN got themselves in a impossible and peculiar situation, making friends and allies and trying to understand what's happening to them and the whole world, while Tyler, Kal and Auri team up with villains, fighting to save everything and everyone.

Told by multiple POVs, swinging between characters, past, present and future, Aurora's end is a rollercoaster of emotions, exciting adventures and deaths (kinda), new and old allies and enemies, new and old species and planets and I was left breathless and on my toes until the very thrilling ending.
I followed Squad 312 from the first book and it's incredible and moving seeing how far they've come, how they changed and grown up, how strong and brilliant is their bond and relationship with one other, what they are willing to do and sacrifice to protect each other and the whole galaxy.
It was a pleasure seeing Kal and Auri, Scarlett and Finian, Zila and..., Tyler and...(I can't tell...spoilers!) and how the romance was skillfully mixed with the sci-fi world, giving laughters and moving and beautiful moments, thrilling and heart-wrenching ones, in a whirlwind of emotions, situations and adventures.
It was also incredible seeing how everything was explained, how each piece fit with one other, how in the end the puzzle was completed and everything made sense. I was left breathless and full of emotions and I loved everything!

The plot is full of twists, brilliant moves, cute and moving romances, fights and escapes, planets, love and friendship. I loved how important was the bond between characters, how love changed everything, how strong they are together. I'm gonna miss everything and everyone!

What an amazing book! I read it from cover-to-cover in one sitting. Aurora's End is the thrilling third book in The Aurora Cycle trilogy.

I am 100% invested with the Aurora Cycle, so reading Aurora's End was a no-brainer. Overall, I am happy with the series conclusion. This installment differed a little in the writing style, because I am assuming the authors were trying to sum up an incredible story. It ended up being a little choppy and slightly overwhelming, but I did not let that sway me. In fact, it is probably due to the fact that Kaufman and Kristoff wove in some pretty intense time travel concepts that my brain just needed time to digest. I was impressed at the level truth they attempted for such an amorphous topic.

That being said, I was THRILLED to rejoin my favorite characters once again. I definitely recommend this book for anyone who enjoyed the first two books in the series. And if you haven't already read them, go check them out right now!

I'm still trying to recover after finishing this, my emotions are pretty raw. I definitely ugly cried, held my breath during intense parts, and stayed up late because I needed to know how things were going to end. I never could have predicted how this would play out and I loved the twists and reveals. Let me say, you are not prepared.

There is a recap at the beginning so if you're worried you forgot something, the author's have you covered. I really appreciate when books do that, instead of assuming you have a perfect memory and remember all the details. The story then jumps right into the action and we find out what happened after that horrible cliffhanger in book two. There's a lot of chaos but it's told well and I found it easy to keep track of what was happening.

Squad 312 is split into three groups and the book jumps point of view to give us the full picture. There are no dull moments here, it's life or death and our beloved characters are constantly in peril. I've really grown to love these people and just wanted them all to be reunited and happy. The family they've formed is beautiful and the best part of the series.

There was one thing that didn't play out how I hoped and I was kind of bummed, but I trust that the authors know best and everything was as it should be. I so enjoyed the romances, friendships, and epic plot and readers will not be disappointed!

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. Thank you to Random House Children's and NetGalley for the copy

After literally screaming like a banshee when I received this ARC (thank you by the way!!) I devoured this book.

Aurora’s End destroyed me in the very best way. From tears, to gasps, to laughing out loud this book has it all. After the devastating cliffhanger from Aurora Burning I had to start this final book immediately to see what our favorite found family was up to.

Written again in alternating povs - we catch up with all our crazy misfits to see how they are faring and if they can figure out a way to save the galaxy from the threat looming over them. Not wanting to giveaway any details I will just say that these two authors better keep collaborating! Fantastic end to a fantastic series.

I have received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'm just going to be honest here people, Aurora's End killed me. After re-reading the first two books, I was very excited to devour this one. I tried my hardest to devour it slowly but things were just heating up and it was hard to put the book down.

After meeting everyone in the first book, and watching them go through the most horrible obstacle course in space, I had so much hope for everyone involved. I'm not exactly sure what I was hoping for each and every one of them but I wanted a giant happy ending. Which, yes, in a way I did get that but everything that unfolded before that was chaotic and hard to look away from.

Some reveals broke my heart. Even some deaths broke me. In all the ways that count, I wasn't prepared for how this book was going to end. I'm still in shock after reading the very last word. In some ways I'm hoping I'll get a little novella or something. Just because it is so hard to walk away from this found family that I'm really attached to.

In the end, I'm in teeny tiny jagged pieces right. The ending blew my mind in all the right ways and I'm just praying that their next adventure, I mean vacation, will be less chaotic than all the others.

This. Book. THIS BOOK! My heart! I devoured this in a day after the cliffhanger we were left with in book two. This lived up to all of my expectations and more. I wondered where we were going to go after the events of Aurora Burning because it seemed all was lost or if not lost then very very very bad. Kristoff and Kaufman went sideways and gave us something unexpected but also deeply poignant with edge of your seat suspense and action. I cannot adequately describe the satisfaction of the ending of this trilogy and the roller coaster ride it takes to get there. Loved every word and can't wait for the world to experience it. I just hope we more Kristoff and Kaufman collaborations in the future!

Thanks to NetGalley for the digital ARC, but perhaps this was a mistake because now I don't have a support group to talk to about all the feels I'm currently suffering.

This was incredibly intense and action packed and suspenseful from page 1. I finished this book in a day because I simply could not put it down. As the universe spirals out of control and our group of misfits are the only ones who can fix it, of course the book had to be read in a day. I don't think there was a single page of this book that I found boring. I was squealing with excitement and anticipation the entire time.

If you've read the other two books, you know book two had an explosive ending, and because of that I just don't know what I can say about this book without spoiling anything. The characters are still beloved and incredible and snarky and sassy and big-hearted fools, including the new characters introduced. The action is non-stop. If you've read the Illuminae series, you know that Kristoff and Kaufman can really bring it with an ending, so yeah, they once again wrote an incredible, top-notch series.

Do I have any complaints? Yes. One big complaint. Is it enough to make me lower my rating? Not at all. The journey, the ride to the end, that was so spectacular, it negates how I feel about the ONE THING I disliked about the book, which I cannot talk about, but maybe I'll update this in a few years when I feel safe saying something... until then, yes, get this book, go wreck your feelings, it is worth it.

This book was every bit of what I was hoping it would be! So many thrill seeking moments that had me holding my breath wondering what would happen. I absolutely adore every character and I'm so happy I got to read an early copy.

Absolutely phenomenal. I'm never sure how ill feel about a trilogy ending, but this was perfect. I will be recommending this to every book club out there - it has something for everyone and I cant wait to read the whole series again!

*Me finishing the last few chapters of Aurora's End at 3 in the morning trying not to cry and failing with what I think are soft sniffles*

*Partner waking up because of said soft sniffles and saying "that must be a really sad book" and then passes out again"

I devoured this book.

I lost sleep because I could not stop reading. I did the one more chapter thing like ten times haha. And I mostly certainly have a book-hangover from it.

I really loved it. I am writing this during my reader high, so I may come back and edit more when I have time to process but.. at this moment I am super satisfied with the ending and the conclusion of everyone's stories. There are parts that are fairly predictable but it didn't take away from the story at all for me.

Thank you NetGalley and Knopf Books for the e-ARC!

I loved the ending to this series. It has the same witty banter you know and love and is fast paced and entertaining as always. I wish we could have learned a bit more about Betraskens and the other alien species mentioned and the ending was a little bit confusing, but very emotional and effective. I cried a few times during this installment.

Although I wouldn't mind this series going on, this book was a perfect wrap up. I really enjoyed the characters and was on the edge of my seat for the vast majority of this book. I highly recommend this series and this author duo in general.

My students first got me interested in this series, and the last book did not disappoint! I don't normally like space adventures, but this series is seriously amazing. Every character is interesting and fully fleshed out, and the plot is fast-paced without being overwhelming.
