I appreciate the publisher allowing me to read this book. I found the subject matter really interesting. The book was well written and easy to understand. I highly recommend this book.

This is a career guide written by a young man who has what many would consider a “dream job”. In it, he relates his personal experiences that shaped his success. He talks about having clear goals, not letting “no” and rejection letters stop you from pursuing what you want, the importance of networking and how to go about it, and keeping an open mind because sometimes the career you think you want isn’t actually the best opportunity for you.

Written in a casual and friendly tone, this is an entertaining and quick read. Even though the author is young, I think anyone looking to advance their career can find some helpful take-aways from it. Warning: this is not a quick fix book of shortcuts. The author found success because he worked hard. If you have a clear vision and are willing to put a lot of work into achieving it, this book can help.

This is full of interesting information. It is a book about working for major companies such as Disney. The author talks about what he learned about the process in the theatre world and landing dream jobs. He talks about education as well as myths. He talks about the pros and cons. He also has knowledge so giving his experience is helpful and his knowledge is noticeable. His job search journey and professional experience is a wild ride great for anyone interested in the same journey or if they ever wondered about it. Having information from someone that has been there brings great insight.

For such a young soul, Brett N. Axler (less than 30 years old!) is able to draw on great experiences to create a colorful and entertaining and educational guidebook about business. He provides not only relatable but also actionable lessons to be used in both one's personal and one's professional life.

I love pondering the corporate culture, in various organisations. This book is a great read with a consideration of some of the great organisations. It provides a great career review. Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Most career and networking related books have lot of external research but Axlers experiences are enough to draw very actionable and relatable lessons to be used in your personal and professional life.

This was a wonderful book about getting ahead in the most important part of your life, your career.. Everything else depends on that. I wish i had this book earlier in my career.

For being less than 30 years old, Brett Axler did a pretty amazing job providing suggestions for those trying to connect with potential employers at major corporations.

Learn to connect via corporate social connections (LinkedIn), don't be shy to network, be passionate about your ambitions and recognize your dream job and pursue it.

A Theatre Geek's Guide to Disney, Google and the NFL is straight forward and easy to read, while capturing the attention of the reader.

I love reading about how people have succeeded in business and industry and I loved hearing this from someone that is "up and coming". I think that this would be a great gift to someone who just graduated from high school or college or to someone who really wants to be employed with a particular company or position.

Rounding up to 5 stars. Kudos to Brett Axler regarding his first book. I'd definitely read his next book, because I"m absolutely positive that this man is going to continue being successful!
