Thank you Barbour Publishing, Inc. and Wanda Brunstetter for allowing me to read an ARC of THE WALNUT CREEK WISH through NetGalley.

What an interesting book. This story has an unusual twist from Wanda's usual writings. It is told through the eye of two couples, one English and one Amish.

Jeff owns a restaurant, and Rhonda is a hotel manager. They live and work in Canton, Ohio. Thinking getting away from the stress of the city will help their marriage, they move to a large, expensive house in Walnut Creek, Ohio, and continue to work in Canton. They feel they have been let down by God and really do not want any part of religion. Orley and Lois are an Amish Christian couple that own an Antique shop in Walnut Creek and when Jeff and Rhonda move there, their lives become entwined.

Struggles and hardships ensue before Jeff and Rhonda come to realize they can't do it all themselves and must depend on a higher power.

You will enjoy this interesting tale from Wanda Brunstetter.

It is a 5-star book all the way.

The new series, Creektown Discoveries begins with this novel. Orley and Lois Troyer, owners of the Memory Keepers, an antique shop in Walnut Creek each provide a listening ear to those in need in their own special way. Jeff, an avid antique fan and Rhonda, his stressed out wife have recently moved to Walnut Creek to have a slower pace life and repair their marriage. Both have an anger and bitterness toward God because of childhood experiences. Will this unlikely friendship between the two couples help heal their hearts? The Troyers are a special couple with lots of love and wisdom. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Have you ever desired to start over to be able to slow down the hectic pace of life and all the disruptions it brings to peace? Do you enjoy antiques and the memories they invoke? Wanda Brunstetter brings us another great series with this book that takes place in Walnut Creek, Ohio.

Amish couple, Orley and Lois Troyer, owners of an antique store play an important part in helping people who come into their store, “Memory Keepers”. Their faith, exhibited by their friendly manner and prayers for those who come into their store, helps married couple, Jeff and Rhonda, when they sell their home in Canton and move to Walnut Creek to try to live a slower pace. Throughout the book, we see many trials and heartbreaks encompassing Jeff and Rhonda’s lives as individuals and as a married couple. We see faith, forgiveness, unexpected surprises, and restoration.

I highly recommend this book to those who enjoy the Amish genre and books by Wanda Brunstetter. I received an advance copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and NetGalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

Great book! I absolutely loved this book. This book was about 2 couples who paths crossed and became friends. It’s about 2 couples who couldn’t have children and how they coped with it, but also so much more than that. I highly recommend this book.

This book has helped me as I've moved from my comfortable community into a new place. It has encouraged me to follow the dreams I have and reach out to others i meet. Reminder that God places people in our life for a reason.

Sweet love story about faith. The book offered interesting glimpes into the ways of the Amish. Also much like the Amish the book had a slow, relaxed pace to match.

Rhonda and Jeff are living the fast paced life of work....Rhonda working as a hotel manager and Jeff owning his restaurant. As a result, their marriage begins to suffer. When a house comes up for sale in Walnut Creek surrounded by the Amish, they take the opportunity to purchase it, hoping for a slower pace of life. Since neither one of them have use for God, will the slower pace of life surrounded by people who love God, lead them to realize God loves them and they need to learn about faith and patience? Will they be able to put aside all negative feelings and rebuild their marriage?

I really enjoyed this book because close people to Rhonda and Jeff turned out to be great examples of what Christ can do in your life if you let him.

I was given a copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for my honest opinion and review.

The Walnut Creek is a new series set in Walnut Creek, Ohio. Jeff and Rhonda are an English couple who are under a lot of pressure. They have stressful jobs, can’t get pregnant and are trying to sell their house. They meet an Amish couple Orley and Lois who own Memories, an antique store. It’s a great story with the modern couple and the Amish couple and how different they are. I can’t wait to see how this series evolves. Thank you to NetGalley and Barbour Publishing, Inc. for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.

Loved this story. Wanda is one of my favorite authors and I was so excited to get to read and review her book. She always has a lesson with her books. No highly, highly recommend this one! Never Disapoints. No vulgar language, no sex, but relationships are current with today's world. Wholesome, relevant, realistic, and just an overall excellent book!

I was excited to read this new series, as it's set in Walnut Creek, OH - an area I love to visit and shop. However, other than a mention on a Charm restaurant, there wasn't much written about the town. I like a book that talks about places I've visited. I look forward to seeing how this series progresses

Wanda's books are always enjoyable and this one continues on the same. Jeff and Rhonda live in Canton in a townhouse. He owns a restaurant and she is a hotel manager. They see an open house for a house in Amish country and decide to check out. Soon they're packing up and moving - and finding all kinds of obstacles in the meanwhile. They're tight on money with the new house and their townhouse not selling, the AC goes up in the new house, Jeff keeps buying antiques, they've got marriage problems, and stress over trying to get pregnant. While in Walnut Creek, they meet Orley and Lois Troyer, who own the antique store. The Amish couple gives them great advice and help -- and Lois has a secret of her own, which helps Rhonda unknowingly.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.

THE WALNUT CREEK WISH by WANDA E BRUNSTETTER is a delightful romance novel which takes place in Walnut Creek, Ohio.
Rhonda and Jeff Davis buy their dream house in Walnut Creek, hoping that the move will put some life back into their marriage. This causes more stress. Although they love their new home and the peace and quiet of the area, they are battling to sell their town house in Canton.
They meet Orley and Lois Troyer, an Amish couple, who own an antique store. In spite of the fact that both Rhonda and Jeff are angry and want nothing to do with God, they become friends with this God fearing couple, and it is good to see this friendship develop.
We are reminded that God is the only One who can restore broken relationships and that He is a prayer answering God, blessing us more abundantly than we could ask or think.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Barbour Publishing. The opinions in this review are completely my own.
