This book was hard to read but so important at the same time. It focuses on the reality of rape in wartime. Dr. Mukwege talks about the world as a whole as well as focuses on the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Dr. Mukwege is truly an inspiring person and I am glad to have read about his work around the world. His advocacy for the women in Congo is amazing. I feel like everyone needs to learn more about everything that is going on around the world. There is so much glossing over what really happened in the history books. I am determined to learn more about the issues brought up in this book.

I am just speechless after reading this book. So much women have to endure but then there are always people like Dr Mukwega who comes like a silver lining. This book brought tears in my eyes, hope in my eyes and finally a ray of sunshine in my eyes. This book is beyond any rating. All hearts.
