Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! It was a bit of a slow start, but I think if you read book 1 first (which I didn't) it will certainly help in setting the stage and characters.
If you love paleontology, history and adventure, then this is the book for you. As you follow Paleontologist Dr. Secora James (her adoptive infant daughter Monta), her friends Gideon and Jimmy into the Peruvian Yungas to search for her sister, Iris, and good friend Jane have and their team of students from Anthropology department. Intertwined all is a discovery made by Billy Riggins a fellow paleontologist who discovered a mammoth, and ....
