I really enjoyed this devotional and i think would make a perfect gift for the woman in your life. Each day is filled with prayer ideas to get you praying which if you're like me stuggling with prayer and tired of repeating herself is very much needed.

This book consists of light, daily prayers usually accompanied by a Bible verse, occasionally without scripture or all scripture meant to be said as a prayer. It seems designed to be a print flip-book or calendar style devotional. I like the numbered days in liue of dates as is common in these books, because it gives the reader the flexibility to start at anytime and even to skip days that may not apply to her. For example, every 10 days or so there is a prayer specific to motherhood. The book is called "Everday Prayers for Women," not "Mothers" so those prayers will feel irrelevant to women who aren't mothers. They might also be triggering to those are struggling with infertility and loss. I would drop my rating down to 3 stars because of this, except the numbered format of the book makes it pretty easy to skip prayers that don't pertain to you and many of the prayers would bear repeating on a a regular basis. Because of the low pressure format, uplifting tone and biblically relevant material, this easy little book gets 4/5 stars. It's not the deep spiritual challenge you would seek from a longer devotion, but it's a good daily pause to re-center on what matters most.

This book has quick prayers for those who want to spend time daily with the Lord. The artwork is beautiful. The words are uplifting. What I liked the most was that the days are numbered (ex. Day 1, Day 2, Day 3…) instead of dated (ex. January 1, January 2, January 3…) this way when you pick up the book your Day 1 is when you decide.

The artwork is beautiful. The words are light and uplifting. This book would be a great addition to my nightly reads. The only negative is that it has the days numbered (ex. Day 1, Day 2, Day 3…) instead of dated (ex. January 1, January 2, January 3…). I prefer the latter one since once I’m in March or later I may get slightly lost if I forget to read the book one day.

How I enjoyed this devotional – like prayer guide. I used to struggle with daily prayers. This book helped me learn how to spend time in daily prayers. I love how it is focused on various issues that most women can relate to. I also liked that it helped me pray and think about other women’s needs. Whenever I came across a prayer that I couldn’t relate to, I turned my mind to those who it touched on. For instance, last night was a prayer for women whose loved ones are in the military. It spoke to their anxieties and offered encouragement. It helped me think about these ladies and also pray for them.

I can’t imagine anyone reading this book and not having their prayer life strengthened. Highly recommended for all Christian women.

This book has daily prayers and verses geared towards women. Quick prayers for those who want to spend time daily with the Lord. Lovely art work is included. Would make a great present for any woman.
