I love devotionals and God Calls You Blessed is definitely now part of my devotional catalog. A beautiful book inside and out, it is a reminder of God’s wonderful blessings to us in life. The simple sound of a bird chirping, a hug from a loved one, a healing from sickness; big or small He gives them all! Pick it up during your lowest of days and it’ll sure to bring it all into perspective. We all need the reminder of His goodness and gifts. Author Rae Simons' devotional is beautiful both on the outside and inside. The lovely floral cover in shades of purple and green opens up into 180 inspiring and uplifting passages on blessings. The pretty ribbon marker can hold the reader's place while reading one or more of the messages daily.
I love the simplicity of the format of the book, yet the entries provide powerful messages.
Each message has a title, Bible verse, passage, and prayer closure. A Scripture index concludes the devotional.
Readers will receive insight on how to leave behind traits such as worry, fear, anxiety, insecurity, for example, through these devotional stories about how to know that they are blessed by God. As we find our blessings, we can gain confidence, strength, peace, generosity, and so much more. I was really moved by the passage on peace of mind and heart through Jesus, which is so helpful given the state of the world in 2020 and 2021.

I am so happy that I found this book on NetGalley. It has been a daily companion for quite a while now as I have been reading it as a daily devotion focusing on one topic and prayer per day.

The prayers cover every topic that applies to any person’s day to day lives. Topics include, future plans, sharing, obedience, strength, generosity and many more. Basically there is a prayer for every aspect of life.

The format is quite well structured making it easy to read and reflect on the message. It begins with a Biblical reference to prepare the mind and heart for the message of the day. The scripture is followed by one or two paragraphs of reflection. This entails encouragement, practical lessons from the word, questions to ponder on and other thought provoking messages. The final part is a prayer based on the day’s message.

I absolutely loved this book and enjoyed the growth that I experienced with each devotional message. It helped me grow my prayer life and filled me with positive, wonderful messages to begin each day. I highly recommend it.

Another great devotional. Every page is a message of kindess, joy, hope and faith given from God to those Who believe in his words and promises. I lekde it a lot!

God Calls You Blessed is a great book of devotionals. I find that it is a must have.
