I've seen this movie/read this story 100 times before. Sex trafficking - yes - awful. This book emphasizes the horror and strength needed to survive. That said.....I just....couldn't care.

Maybe fiction about a topic like this isn't something I enjoy. I would rather read a memoir or some non-fiction. Fiction about something this terrible is just...pornographic.

This was an absolutely terrifying read and at times, uncomfortable. Sex trafficking is getting more and more common and it's so scary. I respect how honest this book was. It shows you what it's like to be a victim. It shows you how strong one can be when faced with this horrific situation. The writing was a bit choppy, but it was a great read all in all.

As soon as I read the description I knew I had to read this book!
And it sure did not disappoint either!
This books takes you on a wild journey. These characters I seriously felt for them.
The determination and strong will of the leading characters gives the reader a sense of how honesty, regret, time, and redemption.
This book hit home... Because its something that terrifies me! With the world as crazy as it is with human trafficking.
This was an an absolute great book! And the writing Lisa couldn't have done a greater job!

I'm so thankful ingot the chance to read an e~arc!
