Margaritas at the Beach House is the fifth book in the Beach House series written by Judith Keim. This is another well written book by the author, although for me it was a little harder to get invested in I for some reason didn't really connect to the story like I normally do. It was enjoyable revisiting some of the characters that we had had contact with in previous books. I would definitely recommend that others read the book and make you own opinion.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, and this is my fair and honest review.

Firstly, Judy Keim is such a talented writer and I adore all of her books. This series has been such a delight to read. I so much enjoyed this one. Not only do I love Ann & Rhonda, the main characters, but all the supporting ones that are a part of the hotel & their families. This story was so unique with the domestic violence aspect and a female Vice President featured(YES!!!) as the main storyline. There was lots of intrigue but also the sweet female fiction that Keim is so wonderful at keeping all of her books full of. The new babies and love of the characters balanced with the danger posed to Lindsay was perfect! Another 5 stars. As always!

I love this series. I have loved every book I have read by Judith Keim. This story line is wonderful and may have more truths than some folks would like to admit. The characters are awesome. Who wouldn’t want a partnership like Ann and Rhonda have? I just wanted to keep reading and didn’t want the story to end. I can’t wait for the next one! I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.

I love this series of books! It was so fun to revisit the beach house hotel and all the new adventures these women take. I am enjoying the direction that has been taken of the “girls” reclaiming the hotel and the evolving story line of their daughters preparing to assume the responsibility of the hotel. Looking forward to where this saga leads!

Rhonda and Ann own a boutique hotel overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. This isn't just any hotel, but one that caters to theirs guests' privacy, and more if needed. When the Vice-President, America, Amelia Swanson comes calling to ask Rhonda and Ann if there is someplace very private for the President's sister-in-law and her sister, Lindsey Thaxton the answer is a resounding "yes." Seeking sanctuary from her abusive husband, Lindsey stays in the private house behind the hotel while she is waiting for her divorce. The Beach House Hotel is the perfect fit.

Yet, while adding to their stress of securing this haven, the two of them have their own lives to juggle...New babies, relationships that need special handling, not to mention the press that come sniffing around looking for a front page story. Through it all, their friendship remains strong, and on most days ends up with the two of them enjoying a margarita!

This book was a page turner, as I was eager to keep reading, more than curious to find out what was happening next! I love the way it was written, I enjoyed the friendship shared by the two. For me, not only was the book "yummy" but so was the margarita I had when I was reading it on my patio! Highly recommended...both the book and the drink as well.

My thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A full ensemble of characters lead us through Margaritas at The Beach House Hotel. The main characters are Ann and Rhonda, very different women, who work together to run The Beach House Hotel on the Gulf Coast. This book is fifth in a series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. The hotel is upscale, and entertains VIP guests. With a storyline involving domestic abuse and females supporting females, the book also has suspense, mystery and intrigue. This book is perfect for a summer vacation suitcase or beach bag, or to cozy up with on a chilly day by a fireplace. I would like to read the previous books in the series to discover more antics and adventures by Ann and Rhonda.
Thank you to Net Galley and Wild Quail Publishing for the Advance Reader's copy and the opportunity to review this book.

This book is not exactly what I thought it would be but it is an okay read. It is fifth in a series and I have not read the others and I probably would have enjoyed this one more if I had. There is lots going on and lots of characters. Ann and her best friend Rhonda run a upscale hotel in Florida and they pride themselves on providing privacy.for their guests. There are several weddings, births, and even a shooting as well as a busy body always trying to cause trouble. If you like books with lots going on at any given time this is the one for you.

This book was a little confusing for me, as I didn't realize it was in the middle of a long series of books. It was a little confusing as I had issues with keeping the characters - and backstories- straight, but for those who are familiar with the series, this won't be a problem. This book is a little deeper than just your average beach read, and touches on some sensitive and important topics, but it doesn't delve to far from the lightness you expect from a book with the word Margaritas in the title. I'm happy to have read this and may go back and start the series from the beginning.

This is book five in the series and the story continues on with Ann and Rhonda running the Beach House Hotel. As I was reading, there seemed to be a lot of things happening with the things going on at the hotel, the families, and the President of the Neighborhood, but everything flowed so smoothly. I was amazed that the book was so relaxing with all that was going on.
They have the right employees who they trust, they have built up a reputation of giving everyone their privacy, whether it is a tourist, a celebrity, or the Vice President of the United States. They are prepared for the unexpected and, yes, there are unexpected things that happen, As, I didn't have time for a mini vacation, I felt like I was on a mini vacation reading this book. Even having some Margaritas with them.
I received an ARC from Wild Quail Publishing through NetGalley.

This book was sent to me by Netgalley on Kindle for review. Two friends own a bite where famous people stay. The story is almost unbelievable yet intriguing in a cozy mystery sort of way. There are so many characters that it is difficult to keep them straight. Most of them are likeable characters and the reader wants to know more about them. Try this one.

Even though this is book five in a series It can easily be read and enjoyed as a stand alone book. Ann and Rhonda are great characters and their home lives run easily against their work at the Beach House hotel. There is a lot to enjoy with weddings, babies and the neighbourhood trouble maker. Ann and Rhonda go the extra mile to keep their guests safe and protect their privacy but they are tested to their limits when they are asked to protect an important guest from her abusive husband.

I really enjoyed Judith Keim’s writing style and was hooked from page one. This is a book I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a good read with behind the scenes glimpses of hotel life.

Margaritas at The Beach House Hotel by Judith Keim takes the reader back to visit Sabel, FL, and two wonderful characters, Ann, and Rhonda. This is the fifth booth in this series but can be read as a stand-alone novel. The ladies have hugely different styles but work together and have made a success of the Beach House Hotel.
Ann and Rhonda have a request from an extremely important person. Vice-President Amelia Swanson is asking for a place of sanctuary for her younger sister Lindsay Thaxton. Lindsay is married to the president's younger brother who has been sent to a rehab facility. He is repetitively abusive to Lindsay. She needs a place to recover and escape from her husband while she waits for a divorce. The Beach House has a small cottage at the back which will be used for Lindsay and her bodyguard, Debra. The Vice president's limo has not been gone long before their number one troublemaker comes to call. Brock Goodwin has come to ask who was in the limo that he had seen at the hotel. Ann and Rhonda let him know it is none of his business and they have a right to keep their client's identity private. Problems continue to surface as the ladies try to provide a safe haven for Lindsay amid noisy neighbors and the media photographers.
An incredibly good sequel in this series!

Rachel and Ann are co-owners of the Beach House Hotel. It is an upscale, small hotel where guests are given utmost privacy. That is why the Vice President of the United States is there along with her sister who is in the process of divorcing her husband, the President’s brother. Keeping everyone safe requires a lot of help and some interesting happenings. Rachel and Ann believe the staff are like family and they also feel that way about many of their guests. Ann is married to a long-time soap opera star who has his own interesting life. He maintains a loving relationship with his wife, Ann, and their children from previous marriages. The setting is the beach in Florida, and I felt like I had been transported to their lovely hotel with activities and the beach at my disposal. Great characters and stories that provide insights into relationships between grandparents and new mothers, new mothers and their children, best friends, and extended families.

Thank you NetGalley, Judith Keim and Wild Quail Publishing for the ARC of Margaritas at The Beach House Hotel. This is my personal review.
This is book five in the Beach House Hotel series and it is as magnificent as the others in the series.
Ann and Rhonda own and run the Beach House Hotel in Florida. They make sure all their guests have a wonderful time when they are at the hotel, and they do everything they can to make sure the privacy of their guests in protected. The guest they have this time is the sister of the Vice President of the United States. Keeping her out of the spotlight is essential to her safety and this puts a lot of pressure on Ann and Rhonda as well as staff members. They handle it with the help of trusted employees, but things get complicated.
Grab this book to read as you relax and you will be so glad you do!
I enjoyed being back at the Beach House Hotel and I look forward to more books in the series.

This book revists Ann and Rhonda at the Beach House Hotel - I believe this is the fifth of the series and I listened to all the previous books in this series on Audible. I would recommend reading the others first, it is not necessary, but it does give insight into the past development of the characters, their families, and the hotel.

Ann and Rhonda have been at it for a few years by the time this book is set - they are running a successful upscale hotel that caters to important people who want to get away, and have some privacy while doing it. Of course their are nosy people that live nearby and want to get the scoop on their visitors; and one of their current visitors requires the utmost privacy and is in danger if her whereabouts are known.

This book is filled with love, friendship, family, and margaritas. An excellent summer read!

Ann and Rhonda run a Beach House Hotel in Florida. Not sure what the number of this one is, but the first I've read in the series. The mention was that it was to be light hearted, so expected a bit more fun. Abuse and drugs are not really my idea of fun, but what can I say. The story overall is good, and would recommend, but not exactly what I was looking for.

Entertaining. This is a book that is somewhat deep in a series - Book 5 - and never once shies away from that fact. It has a wide range of established characters and storylines, but Keim does a remarkable job of making sure the reader understands the relevant histories, no matter if they've been a long time fan or if this is your entry point to this series or even this author - as it was both for me. Indeed, it is arguable that perhaps Keim does *too much* rehashing of prior stories- more in repeating a few sentences (with variation, not copy/ paste, at least not obviously) about whatever relevant fact such as how characters met or why another character is so problematic, etc.

And yet, despite and perhaps because of all of this, this book absolutely works as a continuation of its world and as a showcase for the author's style and tone. Those that enjoy ensemble casts with a lot of characters and a lot going on will thoroughly enjoy this book, those who prefer fewer characters... probably won't like it as much. But the storylines all interweave remarkably well, particularly with the narration being solely driven by one character's perspective and the primary focus being that character and her business partner and friend - who enjoy catching up in stolen moments via the titular event.

Ultimately a strong book about friendship and defending the hurting, this tale is very much recommended.

Margaritas at The Beach House Hotel is part of a series. It can be read as a stand alone but after reading this book, you will want to go back. Ann and Rhonda who The Beach House Hotel. Two very different woman. They agree to help the Vice President host her sister, who was in a abusive relationship. I enjoyed all the characters in the story and how they handle their nemesis Brock. A fun beach read. Thank you to NetGalley and Wild Quail Publishing for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.
