The Forget-Me Knot by Denise Liebig is a captivating read for fans of paranormal romance and historical fantasy who enjoy a slow-paced, emotional journey of self-discovery, as it weaves together themes of love, loss, and the power of the past to shape our present and future.

After the death of her father left her mother heartbroken Natalie decides love is not for her and puts all her attention on her therapy practice. When a male ghost starts bugging her she thinks she needs a break so she heads off on vacation but the ghost follows her. This is an interesting story about reincarnation and past lives that takes some unexpected turns. The writing is well done the characters are interesting and the ending was good. The Forget-Me Knot is my first book by Denise Liebig and I look forward to reading more books by her in the future.

Ok firstly I need to point out there is absolutely no time travel whatsoever in this book. None. What it does feature is flashbacks to previous lives and that is not to frequent.

What I like: The idea of reincarnation plot and past lives was interesting and well executed. This is the only reason I rated it as high as I did

What I didn't like: The characters and the romance. I felt no chemistry whatsoever between any of the three main characters. The characters come across as juvenile despite Natalie being described as a mature sensible woman. She has a post graduate degree and an established therapy practice but she acts like a teenager.

Theo is even worse. His age is never stated but he acts like a petulant teenager. Leaving when things don't go his way. Reacting with violence. Why he and Natalie had a physical relationship is beyond me. It just felt wrong. As for Frank he made my skin crawl and there should be a trigger warning because his actions both as a ghost and in past lives is disgusting.

I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I downloaded the Forget-Me-Knot because I really liked the description of a ghost and past lives, oh and trips to England. I was not disappointed. The story follows Natalie Lane a therapist who has never really gotten over the tragic death of her father. One day a man shows up to her office and claims to be a ghost and she is the reincarnaiton of his past love, well that is a new one! Nicole decides to go to England for a rest cure as she thinks she is losing her mind. In England she meets Theo, It turns out that Theo, Frank and Natalie have known each other through different lives, a love triangle played out through the ages. I enjoyed the journey from past to present and the premise of reicnarnation.

If you are looking for a book that has a supernatural bent and a love triangle to be resolved, give this book a whirl.

Thanks to Netgalley, and Denise Liebig for the chance to read and review this book.

I expected more from this novel to be honest. First of all, based on the line in the blurb about a time travel twist, I expected time travel. Alas, there’s none. Secondly, there are times the story becomes convoluted, and you forget who is supposed to be Frank and who is supposed to be Theo. Third, let’s discuss the chest Keegan found that housed Isobel’s items. It seems to be spelled like Hermione’s bag. Every time you turn around, yet another piece of the puzzle was pulled out of it. It got to the point I just shook my head because it just felt like the author didn’t know another way of doling out new information. I couldn’t enjoy the story, I couldn’t connect with the characters, there were parts of the story that even a witchy, pnr lover like me had to just roll my eyes at. Especially the damage the ghost caused Natalie that landed her in the hospital at the end.
This just wasn’t the book for me, and for all the reasons I’ve listed above, plus others, I’ve had to rate this book at 2 stars.

**I received an ARC of this story from NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.

I thought this book was going to have more time travel in it. It actually seems to be about reincarnation and past lives instead. The story kept my interest but it was also a bit confusing. It seems to be a twisted all around mess.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the early copy
