Amy and Richard have settled into m married life. As Summer wraps up, the arts come to life with Richard and his dance partner working on a new show and the high school choruses that won a competition come back to perform on the 59th anniversary of their victory. When one of the singers is found shot to Zelda’s garden, Aunt Lydia’s best friend becomes the prime suspect.

Even though Amy vows to just conduct research to help clear Zelda, she begins to find out more about the past than the killer thought she would and now she has to finger the killer before anyone else is silenced to keep the secretes front eh past coming back to haunt the singers from 50 years before.

A fabulous series that I thoroughly enjoy. The characters feel more like friends and each book feels more like a catch up with old friends. As solid whodunit with red herrings that keep you changing your mind over who the killer is and why they acted. A solid series to add to your reading list with additional books in the series to make for a fabulous holiday reading binge.

Renewed for Murder
By Victoria Gilbert

Amy is getting use to married life with her dancer husband. But that doesn’t stop Amy from investigating when a body shows up in Zelda Shoemaker’s gazebo. With the body there is a letter indicating that Zelda was black mailing the deceased. So Chief Deputy Brad Tucker puts Zelda as the number one suspect. Amy and her aunt Lydia are determined to to find the truth but Zelda won’t tell why she was being black mailed. And than Amy finds record’s of a long-ago tragedy that casts doubts on Zelda’s innocence.
But Amy better be quick on her feet because there is still a killer out there and they have her number.

I love all of Victoria Gilbert’s books!! This was a great addition to The Blue Ridge Library Mysteries. I would recommend this book highly.

I received this temp e-book from NetGalley and Crooked Lang for my honest opinion.

Come back and visit Amy while she is investigating another murder. A fun wonderful read. You won’t be disappointed.

Just discovered this was book 6 in the series, but to be honest I wasn't lost. Amy and her husband Richard are settling in nicely to being newlyweds, when Amy's aunt comes in to have them check one of her friends. Finding a dead body, and the friend doesn't answer questions leads to a lot more. A fun and easy cozy mystery read. Would recommend.

It was great fun to spend time with Amy again! Book six in the Blue Ridge Library series finds Amy tapping into her research skills yet again to dig out answers when a body is found in Zelda Shoemaker's gazebo. When a letter found on the body implicates Zelda, Amy and her Aunt Lydia are determined to clear her name.

It was a treat to see Amy settling in to married life, as well as all our favorite characters joining in to help solve this mystery.

Thank you to NetGalley and Crooked Lane Books for the opportunity to review an advance digital copy of this book.

I find Victoria Gilbert's characters in her Blue Ridge Library Mystery series intriguing. I would call them quirky, but I find that too affectionate of a term for them. They are complex and multi-layered, and often difficult and unlikeable. There was a lot of background in 'Renewed for Murder', the latest in the series. I was entirely surprised by the reveal of the murderer, especially for such a weak cause. Although I was engaged it was ultimately a little off-putting, so not my favorite.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC. Really enjoyed this author's writing and stories. All her characters feel real and not one dimensional. Loved the mystery.

Renewed For Murder is a decent addition to the series.
Amy is embracing her life as a newlywed with her dancer husband, Richard.
When a dead body is found in a gazebo in a friend’s backyard, Amy finds herself mixed up in another murder investigation.

This is a fast paced story with fun, colorful characters, however, it’s much like so many other cozy mysteries, there isn’t really anything that makes it stand out.
My rating is 4.5 stars.

A cozy mystery is a quick read with likeable characters. This one was sent to me on Kindle by Netgalley. The author usually does not disappoint, and the story moves quickly.
This book just seemed to be like too many others I have read.

New Project Sparks Death…
Librarian, Amy Webber, returns in the sixth Blue Ridge Library mystery. Amy is happily juggling her newly married status and a new project. As ever, nothing runs smoothly and when a woman’s body turns up Amy finds herself trying to get to the bottom of the mystery as well as clearing someone’s name. A fun, entertaining cosy mystery with a likeable protagonist in Amy and a colourful cast of supporting characters. A worthy addition.

Kindle Copy for Review from NetGalley and Crooked Lane Books.

I received a free, advance copy of this book and this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

A mysterious woman ends up dead in a backyard gazebo. The owner of the property is the major suspect when a blackmailed letter is found in dead woman pocket.

Amy is asked to help clear her name but other secrets come to life. Could she really have killed the woman?
It is a fast paced read in the series that will keep you entertained.
