Sleigh Bells Ring is an enjoyable Christmas romance, if at times a little overly sweet. The heat level is on low, focused more on the Christmas spirit. The characters are all struggling with grief - Tate with the loss of his grandfather and returning to the place where he lost his father, and Annie is helping her niece and nephew cope with the loss of their mother while their father is in jail this holiday season. The two come together to bring holiday cheer to both of their families.
Overall this was a wonderful story with characters coming together to help others and heal from past wounds. At times it was a little picture perfect, especially when the whole town came together to help with one issue. I didn’t feel like there was any real conflict other than how can these two be together when their time at the ranch comes to an end, but that was more internal conflict than anything else. The story as a whole was very wholesome, although sometimes a little too sweet as everything and everyone was so dear and lovely. For people looking for a Hallmark Christmas romance, however, this book is perfect.

This book is truly heartwarming and if you are looking for a festive book to read during this holiday then you really should check this book out. I loved seeing how everything played out. I loved seeing that connection between Tate and Annie. I mean anything that could spark between the two clearly wouldn't last. I mean he plans on selling the ranch she's residing in, and he doesn't even live in the area only visiting for the holiday on the request of a family member. I loved seeing that romance between the two though and seeing the whole cuteness of them working together to decorate from picking out trees, decorating and even how his family interacted with the twins. This was a clean romance which I also appreciate. Overall this was a really great holiday contemporary book and I really enjoyed it.

Sometimes, when I give a book a high rating, I don’t have any concrete reasoning. I simple love it.

Sleigh Bells Ring is exactly that type of book. In fact, I’ve already recommended it to my mother and she bought herself a copy. I didn’t even need to tell her the plot. As a holiday romance fan, and an avid Hallmark movie watcher, I knew she would devour this one immediately.

The most specific reason I can give for liking this story is the depth and honesty in its characters’ faults. There isn’t a feeling of everything being perfect which can often make holiday romances sickly, sweet. Instead, this felt like a bit of festive fun in the midst of our all too often trying life circumstances. Not every day can be snowball fights and hot chocolate breaks. Real life is messy even, and sometimes especially, at Christmas.

Conclusion
If you like love stories grounded in real life circumstances but with a holiday twist, snatch up Sleigh Bells Ring. Be prepared to deck the halls.

4.25 Hearts Hey Hallmark!!! You need to be looking at this novel by RaeAnne Thayne. Everything about this story is perfect for a made for TV movie.

This is a story about two women who come home for different reasons. One to move on and one to help others move on. Brie is needing to move on from her father’s death decades ago and coming home to the family ranch. Annie wants to give her niece and nephew a wonderful Christmas on the ranch. But when Annie’s childhood crush shows up everything changes.

What a delightful read but then Thayne never disappoints and puts even more of her love into her Christmas writings.

Perfect book to enjoy this Holiday season.

A sweet Christmas read that had me crying throughout the book. So I recommend having plenty of tissues handy. But I did love the story. It reminded me of Macomber type Christmas stories which I love.

A Feel good story with two HEA's. The trip to the ranch was to be a final good by to their Grandfather and to the family ranch. Things did not go as planned. Between Christmas, two cute 6 year old twins and the heat between the characters you just know the ranch will stay in the family and four of the characters will be more than just fine with that.

Second chance romance is such a fabulous trope. Especially when everything is completely unexpected and seems almost random. But with the Christmas spirit surrounding this story, this romance story is amazing.

The author just hit it right with perfect balance and many different layers going on in the story. There is stress and emotion, people struggling with so many different issues, avenues of complex feelings and healings. But the author just spun it all into a beautiful, light hearted tale with her wonderfully deep characterization.

It would be easy to allow the characters to be cranky or upset all the time with everything surrounding the storyline. But Thayne took the highroad and brought us a totally endearing and touching story that was a delight to read. Her characters were refreshing, very likable, kind and caring which totally made all the difference.

I just love watching the development of the blossoming romance. In Sleigh Bells Ring, we get not one, but two separate love interests. This is a clean romance that offers an endearing story that is heartfelt and just so darn awesome. This is the book to grab when you snuggle in, turn up the fire, and just escape.

Thayne is becoming a definite go-to, one-click read for me. I love her deep, compassionate, romantic stories that leave your heart singing and a huge smile for days! I have so much love for this one!

An emotional winter wonderland filled with heart and charm! RaeAnne Thayne wrangled my heartstrings hard with this tale of two families at crossroads in their journeys who come together for a magical holiday season at just the right time for them all. The characters are addictively pure with heart wrenching back stories laying the groundwork to each moment of healing and love. I love every minute!

Annelise is a powerhouse of a woman. She is there for anyone who needs her, yet she never seems to resent the toll it takes on her. I couldn't have enjoyed her and her family more.

Tate is supportive and endearing and I enjoyed watching him let his guard down and feel the emotions he needed to in order to let his family heal and trust in his support.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a holiday romance that is interwoven with emotional healing and sweet family and love connections.

Angel’s View Ranch has always been special to Annelise, aka Annie, McCade grew up on Angel's View Ranch. It used to be owned by her family until her grandfather sold it to billionaire Wallace Sheridan. Wallace hired Annie as the live-in caretaker, but he recently died. No one else in the family loves the ranch like he did, so the plan is to have a memorial service for him, then the family will sell the ranch. Annie now has much on her mind. Her brother, recently widowed, is serving a month in jail for repeated drunk and disorderlies, so his adorable six year old twins are living with their aunt. The last thing she needs is to have unrequited feelings for Tate Sheridan. With no cook available, Annie also needs to pitch in with meals and spend even more time with the Sheridans. Tate is dealing with issues of his own. He doesn't want to take over the Sheridan business, but loves working in their charities. He also doesn't want to say good-bye to his grandfather. He quickly falls for Annie and her niece and nephew, and the feelings are mutual. Can they act on these feelings, especially as the family plans to sell her home?

This is a predictable Christmas story, but it doesn't mean that it is not an enjoyable one. I loved the characters, especially Alice and Henry, the twins. They are adorable and totally honest and unaffected by all that is going on around them. There is a lot of baggage within the Sheridan family that is the reason for them not coming to the ranch in years which adds so much to the story. Throw in not one, but two romances that are sweet, yet love at first sight relationships. Annie and Bree were best friends when they were young and it is nice to see that relationship rekindled. With themes of guilt, forgiveness, grief, addiction and recovery, family, charity and Christmas Magic, this is a story that I definitely recommend. I did a read/listen with this book and enjoyed both equally. The audiobook is narrated by Stacy Gonzalez. I enjoyed her performance very much. She had great expression and tone while presenting this story. She gave voice to the various characters that me to differentiate between the characters for the most part. I did find her male voices sounded quite similar but it did not diminish my enjoyment of the story. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book upon request. The rating and opinions shared are my own.

RaeAnne Thayne is one of my few go-to authors if I'm looking for a book to give me the warm fuzzies, a feel good story with well-developed characters, a good storyline, some angst, some drama, some romance and lots of warm family moments, and in Sleigh Bells Ring she delivers all of these, but because I wish she'd included an epilogue to this compelling and complex story, I'm giving it 4.5 rather than 5 stars.

Annalise (Annie) McCade has been working as a caretaker for the Wyoming ranch where her father once worked and where she grew up. It's owned by the mega-wealthy Sheridan family, although the land once belonged to Annie's ancestors, who sold it to the Sheridans. She left her job in San Francisco to care for her twin niece and nephew when her brother, Wes, his life a tattered wreck since he lost his beloved wife and unborn child a year ago, turned to alcohol, and got handed a 30-day stint in jail for being drunk and disorderly--not his first offense since his wife's tragic passing.

Annie had planned a simple Christmas celebration for her niece and nephew, who she moved into her apartment on the ranch, but when the handsome Tate Sheridan shows up and informs her that practically the entire Sheridan family plans to spend the Christmas holidays at the ranch, her plans are about to change in a major way. The reason for the visit is to memorialize the family patriarch, Wallace Sheridan, who recently passed away, and scatter some of his ashes in the place he loved best. The ranch was a place he visited almost every month--a place to escape from his busy business dealings, read, fish, ride his favorite horse, and just relax. The rest of the Sheridans hadn't been there in years, not since Wallace's only son tragically died there in a riding accident, 20 years earlier.

Since no one prepared Annie for this change of plans, her Christmas plans are about to get a whole lot busier. The 10-bedroom ranch house needs to be fully decorated for the holidays, someone has to cook, clean, and get the house ready, and although Tate manages to find someone to do the cooking, she never shows up, and Annie, who's not a chef, adds feeding the Sheridan family to her to-do list, along with spending time with her 6-year-olds charges, and being in the middle of making 30 blankets she promised to donate a local charity.

Annie and Tate were once good childhood friends, and in this novel their attraction to one another is still there, but since she's his employee, they both are hesitant to do anything about it, and there's a lot more than one romance in this novel--none of which ever becomes graphic, but instead is filled with tender moments, and some wonderful friendships to come. Annie and Tate's sister, Brianna (Brie), were once the best of friends, but lost touch years ago, and since then, Brie has had a troubled past, making poor choices about the men in her life, plus drug and alcohol abuse, but thanks to a long stay in a rehab facility, she's now clean and sober, but the Wyoming ranch is really one of the last places she wants to be.

Sound complicated? It is, with plenty more to come, every bit of which is filled with characters who are givers rather than takers, and all of the novel filled with the charm, grace and warmth of an old-fashioned, heartwarming family Christmas. This was a well-written, sometimes tragic, sometimes sweet, sometimes funny, and totally engrossing Christmas novel, and I'm happy to recommend it.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel The opinions expressed are my own.

This is a wonderfully sweet, touching, at times heartbreaking as well as heartwarming story, perfect not only for the Christmas season , but all year long.
Annie McCade left a job she loved in San Francisco, and has taken a job at Angel View Ranch to help her brother through the loss of his wife and unborn child.
Angel View Ranch is the place where her father had worked, a ranch that once belonged to her family, and the place she has always loved. When the latest drunken fight sends her brother to jail for a month, Annie takes residence at the ranch with her adorable six year old niece and nephew. Not expecting any of the Sheridan’s to show up during the holidays, she never mentioned the twins were with her.
Imagine her surprise when Tate Sheridan, the boy, now a man, she had a crush since she was a little girl, shows up. After the shock, Annie is enlisted to help Tate create a memorable Christmas for all the family that will come to Wyoming . What happens when feelings and the unexpected occurs?
This story is full of heart, family, trust, new beginnings, second chances in life, and a chance of finding love when they least expect it.
A tear or two might be shed for some of the characters, but in the end , the magic and miracle of Christmas will leave the reader happy .
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Harlequin. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This was a sweet holiday read perfect for the upcoming Christmas season. The setting is charming, and the characters are enjoyable. The romance didn't feel rushed or forced. I've read other books by Thayne, and I've enjoyed all of them. I look forward to reading upcoming books.

Annie McCade decides to bring her twin niece and nephew to the ranch she takes care of and no one would ever notice. Their mother had died and their dad was in jail and she wanted to give them a Christmas to remember. Her plan is squashed when her boss Tate Sheridan suddenly shows up to spend Christmas at the ranch. Together they form a bond and make the kids Christmas truly magically. Sleigh Bells Ring was truly Christmas magic! It's full of great characters and a ton of heart! I loved Tate and his bond with the twins was a wonderful addition to the story!
