Most of the scene on the hill at the alien party was entertaining. Many of the action sequences were good. But every time I started to get into the story, another glaring inconsistency popped up that distracted me from the tale itself. With a decent editor, this could have been a great book. As it is, it's an adequate draft.

I seem to be the bearer of an unpopular opinion, but this book just did not work for me. I love unique names, and learning about new folklore, so this was pretty much a blank slate for me, but it never really came together. I really appreciate that the characters had valid flaws- it made them more real, but it went more downhill the further I read.

I read this book when I downloaded, but unfortunately forgot to leave a review at that time and no longer remember enough details to give a proper review.

Sorry, but this title did not hold my interest. Therefore I never read it completely and could not review it because of that.

Okay so this title is a little misleading, from the title I assumed that there would be an element of magic, of controlling the elements. I didn't get that from this book.
It is well written and not a bad way to waste a day in the sun.

This one just wasn't for me. From reading the summary I thought I would have loved this book, but sadly it fell a little short for me. The characters needed a little more development and so did the plot.
