My 8-year-old devoured this book in one sitting! Quote of praise “THERE WERE SOOOO MANY PUNS!!” He loved the art and the silliness. As a mom, I appreciated having some factual information thrown in! Highly recommend!

I love me some Narwhal and Jelly. This time they become teachers and go on adventures with a school of fish. The fist are interesting because they are a great way to talk about synonyms. When ever they reply, they do so with a synonym of what the first fish said. This entire series is great. It's a Graphic novel, it’s a chapter book, it's for beginners, and it’s just waffebulous.

I loved this copy of Narwhal's adventures. As an elementary school teacher this story is perfect for kids of all ages. They get to understand the importance of going to school, to learn while having fun and lots of friends. The pictures of this book were perfect. The silly names for each subject was also perfect. Laughed several times. Always love reading Narwhal's adventures with Jelly.

When an excited school of fish have a sick teacher, Narwhal and Jelly step in to save the day. As substitute teachers, they have an interesting way of teaching science and positivity. This is typical Narwhal and Jelly -- educational, funny and overall, enjoyable.

These books are perfect for kids who like "InvestiGators," "Dog Man" and "Max Meow."

I have been out of school for, well, quite a while now, but I would absolutely attend "Narwhal's School of Awesomeness." In this, Ben Clanton's sixth outing for Narwhal and Jelly, they save the day and become substitute teachers when Mr. Blowfish catches a cold, leaving his fishy scholars adrift.

Professor Knowell (Narwhal) schools the fish (sorry, couldn't resist) in WaffleMatics. Who wouldn't love math if it came with waffles and syrup? There's also an exciting science scavenger hunt. The school of nine fish are adorable, and kids will pick up lots of new vocabulary words from them.

While this is geared toward younger elementary school children, adults will also appreciate the humor and the artwork.

4 out of 5 starfish!

I received and advance copy from Penguin Random House Canada/Tundra Books and NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Ben Clatons’ Narwhal and Jelly series are a favorite in our house. We own all the books and have put this one on preorder. This is another great book that my kids giggle and read multiple times.

Everyone loves Narwhal! And his school of Awesomeness will not disappoint. Kids will be excited for the next installment. This was not my favorite book of the series, but can relate to the school idea and Narwhal's approach.

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Both me and my 5 years old ADORE the Narwhal series, we have read all the books at least three times, and currently have a few Narwhal and Jelly under the sea pictures drawn by her hanging on our wall. She was so excited to be able to read this book in advance, and once again, Ben Clanton hit it out of the park.

The art work are so simple yet adorable and the story was very funny. Her favourite part was all the fish saying hello in different languages. She excitedly pointed out that one is a French fish, and one is Chinese. I love how the book has the fishes speak in synonyms.

We cannot wait for the next adventures of Narwhal and Jelly!

I love the Narwhal and Jelly series by Ben Clanton. They are cute, sweet, tales of friendship, and Narwhal's School of Awesomeness is no exception. Narwhal and Jelly meet a school of fish, and Narwhal decides to be a substitute teacher when the pufferfish instructor falls sick. This book is full of interesting facts and fun friendship stories that kids will love. An absolute winner!

I'm a huge fan of the Narwhal & Jelly books so when I saw this one pop up on NetGalley, I had to request it. I'm so glad I did because it is AWESOME (for lack of a better term or maybe because I'm being punny!) But honestly I loved this book and I can't wait to add it to my collection for my future kids!

The perfect next adventure for narwhal and jelly! My ten year old loved it and reread it three times.

This graphic novel incorporates corny jokes, some action, positivity, language development, math skills and biology seamlessly. It's fun enough to capture children's attention and imagination but still teach them almost without them noticing.

I let my 10 year, a big fan of the Narwhal series, read it and he only had good things to say. Kid approved!

To be honest I don't really know what to think of this. I personally found it boring but I could see children liking it because of all the facts and things that you learn. I feel like the book kind of ping pongs around with randomness, not unlike the brain of a child 😂 I will tell you that I learned some very interesting facts, and I found myself thinking about the book later throughout the day. Which is a good thing. Not to mention the fact that the pictures are so cute, simple though they may be. But, I felt like a parakeet on the 4th of july. Everything felt so random and just pulled out of the guy's brain without thought to any storyline or plot. It's quick, and it's a bit painful to read when you're an adult. As an adult it feels like he's phoned it in. But I can genuinely see a child liking this book. So like I said, I don't really know how to rate this book lol

Awesomeness (A Narwhal and Jelly Book #6) by Ben Clanton. #NetGalley thank you for allowing me to read this book for free in exchange for honest review.

New stories about Narwhal and Jelly! I always get so excited when there is a new Narwhal book. In the 6th book of the series Narwhal and Jelly become substitute teachers. This is everything you want in a Narwhal book. Right away you meet a school of fish and every single one of them are named some variation of Fin. It is just the start of how hilarious and punny this book is. As a teacher I love the use of synonyms. When one of the fish says something it is then repeated with a different synonym. The art is adorable, the story is cute and fun. I can't wait to bring it to my classroom.

Thanks to Netgalley and Tundra publishing for the ARC of this in exchange for my honest review.

My daughter (8) and I have been fans of Narwhal and Jelly since she was first learning to read - perfect for fans of Elephant and Piggie, there are short comics about two friends interacting and figuring out how to be good friends and what is going on around them. There are some cute real life facts about sea critters, and Narwhal makes the cutest professor to a school of fish in this installment.

A great addition to the other books in the series. My 8 year old daughter was thrilled to read this and I loved hearing her giggle as she made her way through it. Definitely recommend!

I received this and as an eARC to read for free in exchange for my honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and Tundra Books for giving me access.

I just love these Narwhal and Jelly books and so do my kids. They are always filled with fun and waffles. I loved how in this one, there were lots of synonyms for a word to help the reader to understand the many responses one could have that mean the same thing.

Definitely something I recommend for young readers or family reading time. Can't wait to see what adventures Narwhal and Jelly have next.

For me, this was the least interesting Narwhal book to date but it still carries all the usual charm of the Narwhal and Jelly stories. Kids will enjoy this next anticipated version of the series
