I actually DNF'd this book. I find it hard to get through the grammatical errors. Also for some reason this book just didn't pull me in enough for me to finish it.

This has been on my NetGalley shelf for over a year, and I still haven’t picked it up. I've tried, but it just isn't for me (right now). I hope other people enjoy it more than I did.

Read My Lips was a cute story about Clayton and Claire who meet when Clayton disguises himself to undergo lessons to better deal with his dyslexia.
I am lukewarm on stories where one of the MCs has a secret. In this case, it is a big one as Clayton is taking literacy lessons at the very foundation his multi-million dollar company sponsors. He meets Claire, who has been burned by an ex who wanted to climb the corporate ladder and would climb over anyone to get there. I do think the falsehood went on a little too long. He found out she has been burned and may have felt it was too late. The heartbreak that always comes with the truth sucks!
I did really like Clayton and Claire. Clayton is a great MC as he does not seem too shallow and being a millionaire, it would be easy to go there.
All in all, this was an enjoyable book and I will most likely pick up the next in the series!

ARC provided by NetGalley for my honest opinion. The story of Claire and Clayton was cute and fun. I love the spin Kelle Riley put on dyslexia and making people aware that you can achieve all goals...except maybe balancing your checkbook. This is an alpha rich male meets scorned woman romance.

I liked the chemistry betweekn Claire and Clay. I liked it alot and thought it hit a lot buttons for and and I wanted more. I will read more from Kelle Riley. This was a good story and enjoyed it very much.

I think that the relationship between Claire and Clayton is absolutely adorable,
She knows that he is hiding something and needs time, and when he finds that someone in his OWN company is the reason that she has been burned in the past, you can almost see the twist coming.
I would have liked a bit more insight into Clayton's dyslexia and how he copes with it, and I don't really like the lying for such a prolonged period of time, but you can't please everyone all the time. :)
The author did a great job at developing the tension between the two MCs.
I would be interested in reading more from her.

Claire just accepted the director position with the Literacy foundation after having her last position ruined by a corporate climbing ex-boyfriend. Clayton is a billionaire who keeps has dyslexia a secret and keeps it a secret. They meet and a romance sparks, however, very undercover boss-like as Clayton has to hide his true identity so goes by another name. The truth will always come out and at what cost?

The premise of this book is super exciting but through reading, I keep getting bored and things just weren't working for me. Overall this was an okay read but it could have been done soo much better.

This was a tough story to get into at first but once I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters were well written and though the ending was predictable, it was the one we all wanted.

Heartwarming story about the challenges that we face in life to come into our identity and the rewarding experiences of love.

I’m going to admit that I did not undestand the purpose of this story. It was a struggle for me to get through it and enjoy it and I think part of the reason was my reading comprehension was not in Check at the
Moment which allowed me to lack my understanding of it.

Claire Lennox accepted a position as the director of the McClaine Literacy Foundation and is very dedicated to her job. She had previously worked in a high level corporate position with the company however her former boyfriend used her to climb the corporate ladder and then ruined her career. She was contractually obligated to the company so she left her position and took the position with the company's foundation.

The owner of the company is a self made billionaire however he has always struggled with dyslexia. He has managed to hide this from others but he wants help with it. He disguised himself as a factory worker and goes to his literary foundation for help. As Claire begins to help him he is immediately attracted to her. She also is attracted to him but does not know his true identity. This is a good book.

There were so many things wrong with this story that it did not work for me. I thought it was going to be a simple read about h finding love again but surprises were waiting for me that I wasn't prepared for. Because of that, I find it difficult to even finish this book but at last, I did.

Enjoyed reading this HEA. Fantasy chocolatier billionaire, Clayton McClaine, is dyslexic and has spent years hiding and compensating for his inability to read. His best friend convinces him to go in disguise and seek help in his own company's literacy foundation, led by Claire Lennox.

Read My Lips begins the Riches & Royals series with a complex romance between two people with major trust issues. Claire has good reason to not trust any man in a powerful position after such a man not only broke her heart but destroyed her career and reputation all in one swoop. Clayton is already at the top of the chain command of his company, a self-made billionaire who should have the world at his feet yet he’s hiding a secret from the public and many in his inner circles as Clayton has dyslexia and is somewhat terrified of that condition becoming public.

Currently, Claire is the director of a literacy foundation – the very foundation that Clayton’s business sponsors. As Clayton finally makes the decision to get professional help in dealing with his dyslexia he’s made the choice to do so incognito and definitely undercover. That’s a decision that will come back to bite hard as his relationship with Claire, his teacher/therapist heads into romantic waters that get muddied even more when he doesn’t correct the lie that brought them together.

Overall, I enjoyed Read My Lips. There were issues that I consider nitpicking and my own preferences that do not pertain to the well-written story that touches on a few subjects that aren’t always addressed in Romance, so I’m choosing not to go into them here. The one that I will mention is the continuation of Clayton’s lie of being “Artie”. As time moved on with their romance, as real feelings began to develop between them that lie was always going to be a heartbreaking moment when finally revealed. There were many times, in my opinion, that he could have told the truth and still maintained the romance with Claire. Yet knowing her trust issues, how she’d been destroyed by another lie… yeah, it went on far too long for my enjoyment. And, again, that is my own opinion you’d have to make that call based on what you enjoy in your Romances.

We get a few hints of what is yet to come in the series, meet several secondary characters who will most likely end up with their own stories one day, and resolve Claire and Clayton’s issues by the story’s ending. I’ll keep an eye out for the next one. Read My Lips is a good story that many will enjoy.

Kelle Riley - a new to me author that I enjoyed reading. Her work is well-rounded, with great characters and wonderful detail. This is the first book in the Riches and Royals series, and I am trying to be patient waiting for the next! Wow - simply wow, explains this great read!

Undercover boss (?) with a cute contemporary twist.

Self-made billionaire Clayton McClaine is dyslexic, a secret he keeps. He meets Director of the Literacy Foundation (that his company sponsors), Claire Lennox, and romance blossoms between the two. However, Clayton has kept his identity a secret, going by the name Artie. With secrets like this, what could go wrong?

I really enjoyed this story at the start but as the book progressed, it started to get boring.

I really wanted to like this book, and there were parts that were good. But there were other parts where my attention started to wander.

The premise of this book seemed really promising - I love the whole secret identity, millionaire hero thing, especially when he has a vulnerability like a learning disability. Makes him so relatable. I loved that the heroine was a teacher who could help him overcome his vulnerability. Sounds great on the surface.

Unfortunately, the execution left a lot to be desired. The story was just written in a way that didn't resonate with me. Pacing was fast in the beginning, there was a weird POV thrown in there of a third person that felt really unnecessary, and the MMC says he wants to have sex with her not even 20% into the story. Normally, this wouldn't be a huge deal, except for the fact that there wasn't really an explanation leading up to this moment. Why are they attracted to each other? No idea. The buildup was virtually nonexistent. Because the writing relied so much on telling rather than showing, it felt like were expected to just go along with this. It felt forced rather than natural, and there was zero chemistry between the characters. This did not improve as the story progressed.

Story idea was good. Perhaps a different editor could made an impact, as I feel the foundation was there. Just needed a lot more work and wasn't a book that I felt was memorable or fun to read.

A lovely tale of love and chocolate. I adored Claire and Clayton, their building relationship, their chemistry, the love they share.

My Opinion:

"Read My Lips" I love you was all that Clayton could say after all that had gone on with him and the lovely Claire after it was all said and done. I enjoyed the story with all that came from these two, Clayton and Claire, who seems to be made for each other. Yes, we find Clayton dealing with his dyslexia and going to the McClaire Literary Clinic using another name...Artie Michaels and this is where Claire comes into the picture. With all that was going on with these two, when it was time to come clean about his situation, it would have been better if Artie [Clayton] would have told her the whole truth right then. This was needed since Claire seemed to have problems with trust issues from her last encounter with an ex-boyfriend, and this would have also helped in the overall plot of the story. It would have enabled Clayton in the end; however, as these sweet romances can go, you will have to pick up this novel to see how and if this author could get it all straightened out in the end.
