I really enjoyed this book! I loved the storyline - Belinda has a birthmark on her face which she believes makes her unmarriable. She was teased in school and has all but retreated from everyone except her family. I actually didn't like Belinda at first, but that changed as she grew throughout the book and faced her fears in a time of crisis. This may have been the best character transformation that I've ever read!

I felt that a theme throughout the book was that everyone is made differently and that's okay. I especially liked that Adam saw what made Belinda special. I liked the supportive family that Belinda had which included a match-making mammi and two siblings that could each have their own story.

If you enjoy Amish fiction, I highly recommend this book.

I received a complimentary copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

5 stars, Bees, Bee Charmers, and Flowers, the best things!

AN AMISH FLOWER FARM
by Mindy Steele

Flower farm owner Belinda is agoraphobic because she has a prominent birthmark on her cheek. She has flowers to sell, but no way to get them to the market and to individual businesses.

Beekeeper Adam Fisher is overwhelmed with his family life, his father has been ill and Adam is needed to work several jobs, besides his beekeeping to pay the expenses for his family. He needs someone to help him with his bees.

Adam and Belinda strike a deal to help each other out and the novel shows you the benefits of that relationship.

Highly recommend it. This was my first Hallmark novel, it's quite a pleasant experience.

Much gratitude to #netgalley #hallmarkpublishing for the complimentary copy of #anamishflowerfar I was under no obligation to post a review.

I enjoyed this read, and it kept me page-turning for answers.
Sometimes we are our own worse enemy, and it doesn’t matter where you are from we all are influenced by others.
In this this story the author has a beautiful, compassionate, young Amish woman who has lived her life thinking she needs to hide because of a birth stain on her face.
Now her neighbor raises bees, lots of them, and what a beautiful combination, bees and flowers!
This is a sweet story of courage, determination and a love for others. People who sacrifice and give their all in times of need, and as a bonus we are given some sweet romance!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Hallmark Publishing, and was not required to give a positive review.

I was genuinely surprised on how much I enjoyed this book. It was a light and super cute romance. I loved that it was about a culture that I never read about before and it was so refreshing to read a book that was just a pure and classic romance with no drama. Just two people falling in love.

Mindy Steele brings us a delightful book has all of the makings for a good Hallmark movie set in the Amish genre.

Neighbors, Belinda Graber with her love of growing flowers and her dream of one day owning a flower farm and Adam Fisher, who raises bees, take us through the steps of growing up challenges, family traumas that require their extra help to make ends meet, living out the Amish tradition of being helpful neighbors, heartache, and attraction. How will all of these play out in their future?

I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys reading Amish books. I look forward to more books from Mindy Steele as this was so enjoyable.

I received an advanced copy of the book from Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley. All opinons expressed are my own.

Mindy Steele brings us a sweet story set in the world of the Amish. We meet Belinda and Adam. She needs help selling her flowers and he needs help harvesting his honey. They strike a deal to help each other out. While doing so, they learn more about each other and about themselves. They see how important family, friends, and community really is and how friendship can turn into love. Will they be able to take that leap of faith or will they hold back and lose their chance?

Mindy Steele draws us into this community where helping out is the neighborly thing to do. And in doing so, these two people get the chance to discover friendship, admiration, and love. I enjoyed reading Belinda and Adam's story and look forward to more adventures with Ms. Steele. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for this privilege.

While I really enjoyed the story, I'm not sure that it fits with the Hallmark series. It was a little deeper, more religiously minded (because, of course, Amish), and just more thought provoking than your traditional Hallmark books. Not that I didn't enjoy it, but it was just a veering from the norm. The two neighbors both have troubles and much rely on each other to make it through, which...since it's a book....leads to them falling in love. It appears that there will be another one in this series, about the older sister, but again, series aren't usually Hallmark's thing, whereas trilogies are very common in the Amish fiction world. So...I was just confused.

This was such a sweet story! I genuinely liked both of the main characters as well as their friends and family. Their issues were understandable and the way they worked though them was hopeful and uplifting without being drawn-out or suffused with unnecessary drama.

I especially enjoyed the tiny bit of heat the author included in the story. It's absolutely a completely clean romance (calling it PG would probably even be a stretch) but it was nice to see their love story include the spark and attraction along with genuine friendship, respect, and affection. All those kinner have to come from somewhere!

Fans of traditional Amish romance won't be disappointed with this story. It's a very well-written, enjoyable read. It sounds like we have both siblings' stories to look forward to and I'm sure they will be just as fun!

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!
