I’ve really been enjoying these witchy/supernatural romances. Been hitting the spot this Halloween season but I’m so ready for the cute Christmas romances. Nico and Violet’s story was really good.

I do feel as though some of the books are a bit too long at times though

Prepare to be bewitched, amused, and thoroughly entertained because "Witches Get Stitches" by Juliette Cross is an absolute spellbinding delight! The magical world-building is as rich and colorful as a potion ingredients list, with whimsical details that make every scene come to life. The author's imagination knows no bounds, and it's a delightful ride through a world where the extraordinary is the norm. Juliette Cross has crafted a spellbinding tale that is a treat for the heart and a tonic for the funny bone. If you're looking for a cute and fun read that'll put a grin on your face, this book is definitely the charm you've been seeking.

I enjoyed listening to Violet and Nico's story. The voice actors did a wonderful job of bringing some of my favorite characters to life. I liked getting to know their backstory and what got us to this point with them. I especially appreciated the use of the supply closet.

I love this series so much, it’s so addictive, so funny, the Savoire sisters are my favourite sisters in books I think ,
This is Violets book, although you can read as stand-alone, I think you get a better experience if you’ve read the previous two as you appreciate the banter, the history of the characters better and it’s more enjoyment. These are just fabulous books and can’t wait for many, many more

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This series has been a new obsession and book 3 did not disappoint. I love the Savoie sisters and ever romantic interest so far. Violet and Nico were no exception. I loved their one night encounter turned business partners turned romance. Juliette Cross fills these books with the perfect balance of family, romance, magic and conflict/mystery to solve. I will definitely continue devouring this series.

Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross is the third book in the Stay A Spell series, which is fast becoming one of my favourite paranormal romance series of all time! Each book centres around one of the Savoire sisters and a host of paranormal characters, including witches, werewolves, vampires and more.

Witches Get Stitches is Violet's story. She is a tattoo artist who wants to open her own shop, to provide magical tattoos to paranormal beings. Nico is a werewolf with whom Violet shared a one night stand, some time before the start of the main story. Months later, Violet is desperately trying to keep Nico in the friend zone while Nico is convinced that they are fated to be together. What follows is a passionate, friends-to-lovers romance that features Juliette Cross' usual blend of witty banter, delicious romance and plenty of steam!

As this is the third book in the series, we get lots of wonderful moments with the rest of the Savoire family and friends, You probably don't need to have read all the other books first to enjoy this one, but you will definitely get a lot more out of it if you know the background and character history.

There's also a little bit of drama ,with a kidnapping towards the third act of the story, but Juliette Cross even manages to put her own unique spin on that and it does not turn out the way you might expect.

This is the series that just keeps on giving and I can't wait to see what future books have in store. One of my top book recommendations of the year.

This is the third book in the series and I am once again in love.

This is Violet and Nico's story, and I just have to say that I love the whole Sovole family. I feel that each book in the series keeps getting better and better, along with steamer and steamer. I have zero problems with either of those things, and they keep me coming back for more. It's a great romance story with off the charts chemistry between Violet and Nico. I have to say what makes the story also is the banter, and fun that you have while reading these stories. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

SO GOOD. This series is the perfect kind of cozy paranormal romance. Super hot, but also great family relationships and fascinating outside-world influence.

Witches Get Stitches is the third book in the Stay a Spell series featuring the Savoie sisters, all of whom are gifted with magic. This is a fun paranormal romance series, each book featuring a different couple. I have wondered what the backstory between Violet and Nico is for awhile now. Why is she so rude to him all the time? Well, it was time to find out!

The attraction between Nico and Violet was instant, even if it took their brains longer to be willing to give it a chance. Particularly for Violet. Nico, a werewolf, has a plan though and a lot of patience. He is determined to help Violet realize they belong together. Violet’s dream to have her own tattoo business is finally becoming a reality, and that is in part due to Nico who owns the property where the shop will be. Violet has been working on a charmed tattoo that will help give werewolves control over their beastly side. If she can just manage it, the impact on the supernatural community, particular werewolves would be profound. Her skills are put to the test when Nico’s past catches up to him and his former pack comes into town—and not exactly for a friendly visit.

I enjoyed getting to know Nico and Violet’s backstory as well as see them finally end up together where they belong. I really like Nico who clearly respects Violet and wants her to be happy. Violet can be stubborn and feisty but she also has a softer side. There were appearances by other repeat characters from past books—and a deeper glimpse into the grim reapers' abilities (whose abilities I can’t wait to learn more about!). There’s plenty of steam as expected and suspenseful moments too along with a few unexpected twists. I enjoyed Witches Get Stitches and look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Witches Get Stitches By Juliette Cross (Stay A Spell #3)

I have been completely obsessed with this series since the first book Wolf Gone Wild. I don’t read many paranormal romances so I can’t find a comparison, but I absolutely love this dual New Orleans world. It’s somehow cosy and edgy at the same time. The stories focus on vivacious witch sisters who work and live among humans, too-cool vampires, mysterious grims and uncontrollable werewolves. The author doesn’t bog you down with lore and complicated world building. Everything is revealed at a gentle pace and I know there are more strange things to come. Each book follows one witch as they try to fulfil their hopes and career while getting entangled with an annoyingly alluring supernatural. Wolf Gone Wild introduces werewolf drama; Don’t Drive And Hex (book 2) features an OP vampire-Bollywood sex symbol. I would recommend starting at the beginning of the series to understand all the tensions between the characters.

This third installment follows Violet, a fierce no-nonsense tattoo artist meeting her match with Nico, a werewolf we met briefly in the first book. I loved the mysterious dynamic between the two which was revealed and explored fully in this book. Their relationship is explosive but there was a ‘fear-of-commitment’ angst that trailed a bit too long. In the backdrop is a continuing theme of prejudice and fear which ended with an exciting clash. Overall the story was both comforting and thrilling, and I can’t wait for more witchy antics!

A huge thank you to the amazing author who went out of her wait to send me an advanced copy of this book. This series has soothed me through some troubling moments in our current times.

Thank you for Witches get Stitches! This is such a fun series.

Violet Savoie has a plan. A dream, rather. To open her own tattoo shop, which caters to supernaturals in need of permanent charms. As a powerful Seer, she has the potent magic to cast every kind of spell. Except the kind to give werewolves control over their beastly side. And her business partner Nico needs help in the worst kind of way.

Nico Cruz has a secret. A motive, rather. To subtly stalk and seduce Violet until she finally recognizes they are fated to be together. Ever since their heated encounter in Austin on New Year’s Eve two years earlier, he’s been dying to get his hands—and his tongue—back on her body. He knows a woman like Violet can’t be courted in the usual way. Luckily, Nico has no scruples about misbehaving to get what he wants.

But when his former pack roams into town, and an old friend is far too interested in Violet, his focus shifts to the threat venturing into his territory. Nico may come across as the quiet, broody one, but the intruders are about to regret stepping foot in New Orleans. And when Violet goes missing, no charm or spell can keep Nico’s wolf at bay.

The hilarious and engaging Stay a Spell series continues with its third installment: Witches Get Stitches. Violet is working hard on her plans to open a tattoo shop that gives permanent charms to supernatural beings. She’s determined to remain focused on work, even as she finds herself tempted by Nico, her werewolf business partner.

I am utterly hooked on Cross' writing. These books have a perfect blend of humor and romance, featuring a variety of beloved tropes. I really liked the friendship between Violet and Nico, and the way that she was so determined to protect him by keeping her distance romantically after having a tarot reading that she believes predicted their doom.

Past characters pop in and out here—so the bonds of blood and found family are never far from center focus (which I love!)—and I do think for the ideal reading experience readers should begin with book one.

Fantasy romance readers who haven’t yet fallen under Juliette Cross’ spell will want this entire series on their TBR.

The third of the Stay a Spell series, brings us Violet, a seer who's got a way with tattoos for paranormals.

She can pick the perfect charm, design it, and apply to her customers. She's a fiercely strong, independent woman who's got her life just the way she wants it, thank you very much.

Then she meets Nico, a werwolf who's pretty sure Violet is his soulmate. She's not convinced, but he romances her and passion and hysterical situation arise.

When former members of his pack come to town and start sniffing around Violent, Nico worries as his need to protect her kicks in high gear.

Steamy, sexy, and a whole lot of fun.

Other books in the stay a spell series are:
#1 Wolf Gone Wild
#2 Don't Hex and Drive
#4 Always Practice Safe Hex

I appreciate the publisher for giving me an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I think this might be the best “stay a spell” book yet?!? It’s definitely the hottest. Nico can GET IT 🥵🥵🥵🥵

I am absolutely obsessed with the paranormal version of New Orleans that this series is set in. I just can’t get enough of it and the characters overall. I’ve been excited for Violet and Nico’s romance since book 1, and I’m SO happy to report that Juliette across definitely delivered with this book. The chemistry and sexual tension between Violet and Nico was SIZZLING, and their romance was beautifully tender and passionate. I actually teared up a couple times towards the end. SO GOOD.

I enjoyed this book! It was great to be back in the world of the Stay A Spell series, and Violet & Nico;s romance had such a great build— the ANGST🙌🏻 there were a few moments that seemed to slow down, but then Cross would amp the tension back up & I was fully in it once again! So excited to read the next book in the series🥰

Amazing! – Witches Get Stitches is just simply amazing. Juliette Cross is a masterful storyteller, and the Stay a Spell series just knocks my socks off. This new installment focuses on Violet and Nico, witch and werewolf. There are Sparks that leap between them, chemistry so hot my Kindle almost went up in flames, and compatibility that could make the most perfect couple jealous.

I absolutely loved Witches Get Stitches. Violet is a special witch, and I enjoyed her character. She has a smart mouth and a loving and caring personality. Nico was a fabulous love interest for Violet. He’s met his match in her and their passion is explosive. I loved their story. The author did a spectacular job with Violet in Nico, and I just devoured the book.

I love Juliette Cross’s writing style and the way she tells stories. Her ability to create paranormal stories with romance, action and a solid plot is what keeps me coming back. I can't wait for the next book in the series - or any book from Juliette Cross.

The feisty witch that can see the future and the tortured werewolf biding his time to claim his mate. I couldn’t wait to be back in the Stay a Spell world and WITCHES GET STITCHES delivered a solid and adorable paranormal romance.

One of the things I’ve enjoyed about this series is the small town vibe even though this isn’t set in a small town. The sense of family and community that characterizes a small town romance is very much alive in this series and its one of my favorite things to read about. Besides all the cameo appearances from previous characters (which I adored) and all the side characters, I couldn’t just write this review without mentioning Fred, the bowtie wearing rooster.

In this story, we have a fated mates, friends and co-workers to lovers. I adored Nico and his devotion to Violet. That initial meet and encounter that stayed with him, made him to move to be closer to her and give her the time and space to accept him as more than just a friend. But that gooey cinnamon roll definitely has his alpha side and I also loved seeing that.

Violet, just as the rest of the Savoie sisters, is very likeable but has a vulnerability that I wasn’t really expecting. I really liked seeing that.

The plot of this book dives a bit more into the back story of werewolves and the role witches played. I really enjoyed seeing that as it gave us a little more world building.

If you are on the lookout for a fun paranormal world that will bring New Orleans to life, then look no further than Stay a Spell.

This is the 3rd book in the Stay a Spell series. I loved this book, and immediately bought and read the series’ first two books! I’ve never been much of a fantasy fiction fan, but I’d no idea how much I’d like fantasy romance genre.
Violet Savoie, one of the Savoie sisters, secretly wants to open a tattoo parlor in New Orleans where she and her sisters live. She’s a powerful Seer witch, she can cast any spell. Her business partner is a werewolf named Nico who would love to gain control of his beastly side. Violet thinks that she can “spell” a tattoo to help him.
Nico and Violet met years ago, and ever since he’s been thinking about her, but when his old gang comes to New Orleans and Violet disappears, he has trouble controlling himself and vows revenge.
I loved the writing, and the characters were fantastic. Violet’s entire family are quirky witches that I loved reading about. I’m now a big fan of the Stay and Spell series. 4 stars.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
