What a great story of two opposites that attract, and then the chaos follows. Love the characters and the story-line. Such an original idea, that is believable and unique. Definitely a good book to add to your shelf.

Violet and Nico. Yaaaassss! these two have had me intrigued by their story. Theirs is a slow-burn romance that has both leads doing a lot of soul-searching and evolving before they finally meet each other in the middle. Yes everyone else is there in the mix adding their own magic to the proverbial cauldron. So many easter eggs and insights into upcoming books. I can't wait.

This series just keeps getting better and better! I can’t believe I’m just now writing this review on netgalley but thank you so much to the author for providing me with an e-arc. From the comedy to swoony romance I loved everything about Witches Get Stitches. Besides the fact we get to see our favorite characters from the previous books, we got to meet new characters and get another sexy werewolf love interest. I love the dynamic and romance between Violet and Nico. They were so fun to read and I’m super excited for the next sisters book! These are super binge worthy and I recommend picking up this series if you haven’t already!

I have to give a big shout out to my friend, Erica, who recommended this series. Every book gets better and better in terms of plot and character development and I've been in love since book one. I do recommend reading the series in order as the stories build on each other.

Violet is a doll and I've loved her in the other books. It wasn't a surprise to pair her with the mysterious Nico and their chemistry is off the charts. The entire series is set in the 'real world' but focuses on supernaturals... the witchy sisters, vamps, werewolves, and grims. I won't get into the plot as it will ruin the story but just know that you've got a persistent and swoony werewolf trying to seduce a spunky witch. There are lots of laughs, a perfect amount of steam, hilarious sister shenanigans and some serious moments that will make your heart feel full.

Highly recommended!

I am just loving this series! I didn't think anyone could top Evie and Mateo, but I just adore Violet and Nico so much! They are so fun and sexy and intense. I love this friends-to-lovers story, but I'm glad I didn't have to wait too long for them to realise they are perfect for each other. That was killing me just a little bit. Also, magical tattoos are the coolest thing ever and I want one please.
I absolutely can't wait for the next instalment of this series!

“I could taste his dominance from here, and yet he was also giving off cinnamon-roll vibes. What a paradox this werewolf was.”
Witches Get Stitches is the third standalone in the Stay a Spell series by the enchantingly lovely Juliette Cross. No doubt a word witch in her own right, Juliette Cross has written a bewitchingly intoxicating romance that features reluctant yet headstrong Savoie sister, Violet, and her determined werewolf bad boy/business partner, Nico.

What’s better than a romance between a werewolf shifter and a witch? A SPICY paranormal romance between a werewolf shifter which has some of the best unrequited love with a grumpy/sunshine twist that I’ve read in a long time. After a kismet encounter on New Year’s Eve in Texas, Violet retreats back to New Orleans determined to keep Nico a one night stand only.

“I wasn’t sure why she was fighting this so hard, but I’d let her fight it a bit longer before I took matters into my own hands.”

Y’all. We all know better, right? Even Nico knows better. He takes matters into his own hands. Those skillful, guitar playing, song writing, hands in order to enmesh himself into Violet’s life so that she cannot avoid him at all. Nico is one smart wolf, but his patience can only last so long. His wolf wants Violet, but her determination to keep them as just friends and business partners can only last so long. There are other forces at work as well. Just as Violet seems determined to hold out for her one true love, Nico’s past also catches up to him which forces Violet to confront his past chaos head on.

Violet and Nico tackle some big issues here. Nico fights some inner demons and stigma associated with werewolves while Violet spearheads a campaign that will ultimately set the whole Savoie gang on a new trajectory. Seeing the glimpses of what is hinted at to come for the rest of the Savoie sisters will leave you howling at the full moon in anticipation!

“She stared at me, that vulnerable look fading behind a cocky smile. It didn’t matter. I’d seen it, captured the moment, and stamped it on my heart. It was mine. Just like she was.”

Nico and Violet made me swoon! Nico is such a loving and steady presence for Violet. There is nothing more romantic than a man who knows what he wants and has the patience and confidence to wait for his woman to get her head in the game. Violet is such a lucky lady, and even though she held out until the last possible minute, when she gives in…she goes whole hog. Thank the stars! I think I saw literal fireworks with every scene between Nico and Violet. I’m never disappointed by Juliette Cross—the way she blends erotic scenes with over-the-top romance hits all the right buttons. I absolutely can say this is my favorite paranormal series hands down. The Stay a Spell series is now the benchmark for good PNR everywhere in my mind.

If you haven’t pre-ordered Witches Get Stitches yet, I highly recommend that you do. Due out next Tuesday, July 20th, Witches Get Stitches is the 5 Howling-Good Star Paranormal Romance that will absolutely be the highlight of your Hot Girl Summer.

❝ I could taste his dominance from here, and yet he was also giving off cinnamon-roll vibes. What a paradox this werewolf was. ❞

Violet Savoie is a powerful Seer and an apprentice tattoo artist who is about to open her new shop for both paranormal and humans.

Nico Cruz, the cousin to our favourite werewolf Mateo Cruz, is looking for a fresh start, and what could be a better place to settle where the one-who-got-away lives.

Violet and Nico first met at a party. Nico immediately knew that Violet was his mate and Vi, our resident commitment-phobe slips away into the night when Nico told her to wait for him.

❝ I was so in love with you.” I closed my eyes, admitting words that had terrified me months ago and now only made my heart soar with bliss. “The whole time.” I opened my eyes to make sure she heard me. “And it might’ve taken you two years to figure out what I already knew, but I would’ve waited longer for you.” ❞

Nico and Violet share a love for limericks, banter and a business venture. The sexual tension and chemistry between the two of them was intense.

One of the things that I loved about this book was the history of how the werewolves came to be. The prejudices that have stemmed about them for centuries and the tension between the witches and the wolves.

I also loved how Violet's need to help the wolf community wasn't because of Nico. Was he a part of it? Yes, but a small part. She wanted to help an entire community, to free them from the pre-conceived notions and challenge the bigotry of the witch community that has played a huge part in the shunning of werewolves.

So far, the Stay a Spell series has been an absolute treat. Each character and each storyline stand on its own, making its mark. With steam, suspense, magic and romance, this series is a fantastic Paranormal Romance to add to your collection.

4 Stars!

This is the 3rd book in the Stay A Spell series by Juliette Cross. I greatly enjoy this series and this was another great addition. This book tells the story of Violet Savoie whose dream is to open her own tattoo shop, which caters to supernaturals in need of permanent charms. The permanent charms will assist them in their daily lives. As a powerful Seer, she has the potent magic to cast every kind of spell.

Nico Cruz, is a werewolf and her business partner. He needs help. He also wants Violet to finally recognize that they are supposed to be together. He has been patiently waiting for her to recognize that they should be together, but he is beginning to get a little impatient. He is willing to get up to some crazy shenanigans to get the outcome he wants.

Then trouble struts into town, in the form of his old wolf pack. Now he needs protect Violet because he will not let anything or anyone stand between him and Violet. I love the Stay A Spell series. Juliette Cross has a way with words and her dialogue makes me laugh out loud. I would highly recommend her books to people who enjoy the work of Shelly Laurenston or Suzanne Wright. I have already pre-ordered my copy of Walking in a Witchy Wonderland!!

I was provided a copy of this book through NetGalley for an Honest review.

Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross is the third book in the Stay A Spell series. The series takes about Savoie sisters, who are witches and their paranormal romance story with Werewolves, Vampires and etc. The first book was the story of Evie Savoie and Mateo Cruz, the second book was about Isadora Savoie and Devraj Kumar, hot vampire in town.

The second book has my favorite till now. The books are set in New Orleans, which is my favorite setting to read about when it comes to paranormal characters. The third book is about Violet Savoie, the sassy sister amongst the three. Nico Cruz, werewolf and brother of Mateo.

The third book was equally good. I liked the slow burn romance kind of start between the two characters. Violet seemed to be the strongest witch character amongst the three. The tattoo concept which can act as a spell for werewolf was also a great concept to read about and an added mystery component.

Nico Cruz, did appear in previous books as well. But I am totally sold him now after reading this book. The werewolf character written by Juliette Cross is so perfect. Violet is a character who is very out there, and also still very close and down to her family just like Evie and Isadora. I totally enjoyed reading this series. A definite recommendation.

WITCHES GET STITCHES is the third book in the “Stay a Spell” series by Juliette Cross. This story with a supernatural setting, has a witchy heroine who struggles trying to deny her attraction to a hot werewolf. Violet Savoie met Nico Cruz, had one sizzling encounter but then ghosted him. Nico was left enthralled and been knowingly or unknowingly pursuing Violet ever since. Violet’s reason’s for resisting her feelings are twofold. Her sister is romantically involved with his cousin, and she doesn’t want to ruin a family relationship. Also, she had a reading of her future and she interpreted it with a negative slant when it comes to Nico. As a result, hottie though he is, Nico has an uphill battle when it comes to convincing Violet to give them a chance.

I love Nico’s gentle persuasion. While he’s a charmer for sure, he’s not aggressive or obnoxious as he tries to subtly woo Violet. He becomes her business partner in Violet’s tattoo shop, Empress Ink, and gives her enough space while still showing her what she’s missing by not getting with him. I like when a hero has some sense of fate when it comes to romance and fidelity. Juliette Cross does a good job of making Violets fears seem credible and something the reader can understand. The element of danger in WITCHES GET STITCHES comes from within and from outside forces. Because of his past, Nico is a little freaked out when members of his old pack show up in town. He assumes nothing good can come of the outsiders. Nico also worries his werewolf ferocity might cause him to hurt Violet in some way. With the latter, she and Nico work together using their love of tattooing and magic to try and help him and any other werewolf tone down some of their bestial tendencies when desired. The chemistry between the two main characters was on point and led to some super steamy scenes.

WITCHES GET STITCHES is a fun romance full of wonderful witchy woo and werewolf hotness galore. Juliette Cross steers clear of paranormal stereotypes in WITCHES GET STICHES and more than one character surprised me. I liked learning about more supernatural characters in this book & look forward to seeing which get matched up to Violet’s other sisters. I can’t wait to read the next book in this wildly entertaining “Stay a Spell” series!

💜 Protective alpha werewolf
💜 Hella steamy!

And talk about a hook! That prologue got me like…🤯🥰👀👀👀

I can’t wait to keep reading!

I cannot get over the cover. This cover is gorgeous, the words under the cover are gorgeous, and I am just bloody obsessed. I will definitely be going and reading everything that this author has ever written because how can I not? I am convinced Violet is the coolest person ever, and I am obsessed. I love Violet and Nico even though they put me through it this book. As someone who loves tattoos and anything witchy- this was truly my dream come true. I think that I have found one of my favorite books of the year in this book and I cant see what happens next. I never liked werewolfs growing up but Nico just might have changed that for me haha! I need to get my own personal copy ASAP.

Violet Savoie is a powerful Seer who just happens to be living in New Orleans with her sisters. They each have their own unique talent and a few of Violet's sisters have even managed to fall in love. Violet longs to find someone who is perfect for her. That person is definitely NOT Nico Cruz. They had that one super sexy encounter when they first met, but they've been strictly friends since then.

Not only are they friends, but they are also business owners of a tattoo shop. While Violet thinks that they are just friends Nico has always wanted more. The werewolf in him has set his eyes on Violet. Nico just has to find a way to get out of the friend zone.

When Nico's former pack comes strolling into their tattoo shop looking to get a magical spelled tattoo from Violet, Nico's protective instincts take over. Will Violet finally see what's been in front of her all along? And will Nico and Violet have a chance at a relationship if their lives are threatened?

After reading and loving the previous two books in the Stay a Spell series, I couldn't wait for the next installment. Witches Get Stitches had the perfect combination of funny, sweet and sexy that I have to come to expect from Juliette Cross! I loved visiting with the Savoie sisters again!

The relationship between Nico and Violet was hot hot hot. I loved the slow burn between these two. Nico was always so patient and lovingly tender with Violet. The slow progression from friendship to lovers was done so well. The angst and tension between these two was so palpable and I loved it when they finally came together.

I truly did enjoy Witches Get Stitches. Grab this book (and the others in the series), if you love paranormal romance combined with suspense!

“He trailed his index and middle finger over the underside of my wrist, surely feeling my pulse, before he finally let me go. Somehow, I felt branded by that featherlight touch. He was telling me something without saying a word.”

Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross is a fun paranormal romance that follows Violet Savoie a powerful witch seer, and Nico Cruz a werewolf. Violet’s dream is too open a tattoo shop where she can combine her magic and her tattoo abilities to develop tattoos to help supernatural beings. Nico is a musician and a werewolf who recognized early on that Violet was his mate. Violet believes after doing a reading for her relationship with Nico that the two fo them should never be more than friends. Nico is not going anywhere though, and the more they are around each other, the harder it is for Violet to deny her attraction to him. This book is the third book of a series, but it can be read as a stand alone.

This book was wonderfully written. The characters were so fun to read about, and the romance between the characters really drew me in and stuck with me. I didn’t want to leave this world or these people that the author created and I definitely intend to go back and read the other books of the series. I give this one 4.5 stars.

This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. The side characters were such an integral part of this story as well. This is the love story i needed to read at this time. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you

I love this series!! I'm hoping for at least one more book featuring Reuben. This book is a tale as old as time. Two people, one of them reluctant to fall in love, the other biding their time...a delightful continuation of this paranormal universe.

Let me start with the good parts: I absolutely love Juliette's writing. It was so entertaining and made me always want to read just one more page. The characters were great, especially Violet and Nico, of course, but I was also super intrigued by Henry and Clara. Hopefully we'll get their story soon. Nico and Violet were a great couple. The chemistry was on point and their banter was super fun. The steam was also great, even though I didn't love that Nico turned out to be so completely dominant when it came to sex. I would have liked Violet to be able to take a bit more charge in that aspect as well. Overall I'm still fine with it, because it is very obvious that Nico completely respects her and they are on equal footing.
Now onto the bad. While the lovestory was great, the non-romance part wasn't as well thought out. I absolutely hated Shane. Yeah, I get that the werewolfs are super stigmatized but he is genuinely the bad guy in this story. He comes in being disrespectful and an overall ass. Later he accuses Violet of not even considering to help him, which isn't even true. She was willing but simply unable which she told Shane. And if a man came into my shop with his attitude and looking for trouble, I would also have trouble being as nice as Shane seems to expect. *SPOILERS* The worst part is that Shane literally kidnaps her and in the end everyone is okay with it? Violet herself is even okay with it, which seems so fundamentally against her character. Again, I get werewolves are treated horribly, but Shane's behavior was not okay. He forced Violet to use her power so he could get what he wants, and doesn't face any consequences for his actions. *END OF SPOILER* In somewhat the same vein I think the ending scenes with Violet explaining how mistreated werewolves are (to werewolves no less) feels a bit condescending and preach-y. I wish this part could have been handled better. Overall I loved the romance but the storyline of Shane made me so mad, it took my rating from five stars to three stars.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
