Soulmates in Denial, GIMME!!!

You may not know this about me, but supernatural soulmates are my catnip! I am HERE for this series!

This book is the third installment of the Stay a Spell series by Juliette Cross. I have absolutely loved every book in this series and this one was no different! This book is a paranormal romance centered around Violet Savoie a Seer Witch and Nico a Werewolf. These two are fire! You can feel the pining and the tension radiate off the page!

The book opens to a scene from the past where Nico and Violet meet for the first time. And HELLO HOTNESS! This was an amazing way to start a book! But then after Nico ends up in the same town as Violet, she friend-zones him. These Savoie sisters are STUBBORN! They get an idea in their head and their is no convincing them otherwise! But Nico is in this for the long haul and he will take anything Violet is willing to give him.

Violet is an amazing character that we have met in the two previous books. She has a tough exterior and a snarky attitude but hiding behind her prickly shell is the most powerful Seer with a heart of gold. She just wants to find her one true love! Oh my heart!

Nico is a true Alpha Cinnamon Roll. My favorite kind of hero, big and strong with a soft squishy heart at the center of who he is for only his girl. Oh I love him so much! He will do just about anything to win the attention of Violet, even push her buttons a little bit.

This book was an absolute joy to read. It is a ton of fun with a great plot and wonderful characters. It is HOT and funny. Great family relationships. And a phenomenal magic system. Juliette does a fantastic job at building MULTIPLE different supernatural histories in one world. They all overlap and intertwine but you are never lost or bored. It weaves right into the story and build the plot.

If you haven't started this series yet, go grab Wolf Gone Wild right now and then come back and grab this beauty ASAP!

So for today's review, I want to tell you guys about a HILARIOUSLY amazing book I just read. Yes, I am talking about Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross. This is the third book in her Sit a Spell series, though each book can be read as a standalone and contains its own HEA. However, there is overlapping characters so it could be fun to read the others first! This is the first book in this series that I read and I still thought it was incredible, even without having read the others (though I will be picking them up after how much I loved this one!).

Key Points:
- two viewpoints
- friends to lovers slow-burn!
- ALL THE PINING
- quirky humor
- witches, vampires, werewolves, OH MY!
- SO STEAMY! *fans*

This book is a paranormal romance novel set in a world with werewolves, witches, vampires, and grim reapers, but get this, it is in a completely modern setting! Imagine having all those creatures just walking around in secret throughout New Orleans! I'll never see the city the same way, I can tell you that much.

All of the books in this series focus on one of the Savoie sisters, a powerful family of witches (think Sabrina the Teenage Witch!). Witches get Stitches focuses on Violet, the powerful Seer in the family with extremely potent magic and a talent for spell casting.

Violet dreams of opening her own tattoo shop, and with the help of her new business partner, Nico, that dream is about to become reality. Nico, a powerful Alpha werewolf, has had his eyes on a life with Violet ever since they had a steamy encounter on New Year's Eve two years earlier.

Nico is ready to seduce Violet and make her his mate, but his former pack rolling into town causes a hitch in the plan. Will Nico be able to win Violet's heart and protect her from the violence of the Blood Moon pack?

I am giving this a 5/5 stars because I absolutely DEVOURED this book. This book was exactly what I needed this week! There was sizzling romance, so much snarky banter, and all the pining! Juliette Cross did such an amazing job writing Nico's point of view that I am even more convinced that all of the best men don't exist because they are written by women (I would sell my soul to have a man think about me like Nico thinks about Violet!) I also absolutely loved having both Violet and Nico's points of view throughout this story. It really brought to life all of the angst (yes, put on your angsty playlists and get reading).

I 100% recommend this book to anyone who loves a friends to lovers steamy romance with lots of sexual tension and banter, mixed with supernatural twist. I was literally grinning from ear to ear the entire time I was reading this book, I really cannot explain just how much I liked it well enough! But, I hope y'all will check out this series and read the first two books. This book will be out July 20th and is available for preorder! I will attach links below for anyone interested in this book. Have any of you read this series? Let me know down below!

I was provided an ARC by Victory Editing NetGallery Co-op in exchange for an honest review, this in no way effects my review.

This was such a fun and delightful book! I loved that it was set in New Orleans! Again another book making me want to go there!

Violet isn’t a relationship gal, but she is sassy and spunky and awesome! I absolutely loved her! Even though she friend-zones Nico who she’s ridiculously attracted to.

Nico is super patient and very territorial and swoon worthy 😍 He was just so loveable, and so sweet. You kinda wanted to knock Violet over the head to get with the program haha.

Their chemistry was 🔥 and they definitely brought the heat and steam!

I loved the underlying detail of prejudice in their community and them trying to fix it.

All the side characters were fun and it definitely showed who’s going to be in future books! (Very excited 😆)

I laughed and smiled the whole way through and I’m definitely going to be picking up more books by Juliette!
4.5 stars from me!

This early copy was given to me in exchange for an honest review by netgalley.

This third Savoie sister novel was a thoroughly enjoyable read and secured itself as my new favorite in the series. Nico and Violet had a great slow burn (even though there were moments where I wanted to shake some sense and courage into Violet lol). I loved the little moments they spent together that showed the pull that they felt toward one another. There's a wonderful scene where they're both in Nico's garden and prolonging the moment together. I loved the lingering looks, restless movements, and random conversation topics. It felt so relatable and endearing at the same time.

Nico was such a patient sweetheart. He waited so long for Violet to get on the same page as him and I loved that. Violet's hesitation to start up with Nico made for the perfect chance for him to slowly work his way into her heart, and that felt necessary considering Violet's penchant for resistance. Their friends-to-lovers journey made for a fun and entertaining read.

I'm very much looking forward to reading the rest of the Savoie romances. At first, I was mostly looking forward to Jules and Ruben, but after this book, it's clear that Clara and Livvy are going to have some interesting and mysterious partners!

Another fabulous book by Juliette Cross!! All of her books are a must read for me and this book deserves all the stars! I love the Savoie sisters so much and Violet and Nico’s story was exceptional! I can’t wait for more books in this series!

I absolutely loved this book!
Violet was such a firecracker, smart mouth and I loved her! Nico was such a great character too, he was a lot more calm than I expected him to be, not when it came to his wolf but def personality wise. He was such a romantic and sweet. I specifically loved how he watched Violet from far and fell in love with her at first sight. Their connection was passionate but also relatable. This book's comedy was through the roof, and I cannot wait to see what these sisters strive to accomplish in the next books.
I also have to mention that the story line in this book is amazing, and cannot wait to see the growth of these group of friends. 100 percent recommend it! And for those who have not read first and second book! Dont sit on this series, it will blow your mind.

4.5 Stars - Paranormal Romance

**eARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.**

I was so excited to dive into book 3 of this series. The Stay a Spell series has become one of my favorites Thai year!

I’m this book we follow Violet Savoie who is a Seer in the Savoie family. We have seen her pop up in the first two book in the series and got glimpses of her but I’m so excited for her book!

Nico Cruz is a werewolf and cousin to Matteo who had his own story in book one of the series. He has a motive to make sure Violet realizes they are meant to be together!

I love a pining hero! Nico is such a perfect hero. He is kind and loving and patient. Violet is a spit fire and I love her. I related to her so much because she always shares what’s on her mind!

When Nico’s old pack strolls into New Orleans, troubles comes along with them.

I loved this book a lot! I enjoyed the read and being back into this world!! Juliette Cross keeps impressing me with every book in this series!!

5 stars

I LOVED this book! I have read the first two books in the Stay a Spell series (Wolf Gone Wild, Don't Hex and Drive) and this third installment did not disappoint.

Nico and Violet are just the best. I love that each of the Savoie sisters are so very different, and yet they are clearly sisters from the way they interact with the world around them. This is not your stereotypical alpha-male story (though that definitely plays a big role!). There is humor, a compelling story, and definitely some steamy moments that actually add to the story. Plus, it all takes place in the supernatural community of New Orleans.

Juliette Cross does a great job of transporting the readers into the world of the Savoie sisters. Even the side characters are so diverse! And now I really want to visit New Orleans just to see if I can find any little bits of magic 🙂

I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves romance, contemporary fiction, supernatural stories, or all of the above!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First, this is the very best NetGally review experience I’ve had so far. I’m so grateful to get the chance to give this book an honest review!

I think it’s no secret so far that I’m head over heels in love with this series. Witches Get Stitches, which comes out July 20th, is the latest installment of the romantic adventures of the witchy Savoie sisters.

Nico is a werewolf who has wanted Violet from the first time he saw her. Sassy, outspoken, tough Violet always wanted him too, but feels like they can’t be together because of a difficult tarot card reading. However, they want each other. Like, they WANT EACH OTHER. Bad. Real bad. The level of chemistry here is off the charts hot, and it’s surrounded by the friends and family light-hearted vibe that is the hallmark of this series so far.

If you can make it through the longing of this friends-to-lovers romance, you’ll begin to appreciate that the whole setup is a clever twist on a miscommunication trope that honestly worked for me. Juliette Cross is such a lovely author, and once again, she’s woven a story that is clever, funny, sweet, sexy, and altogether a great read.

I also still just appreciate the backdrop of the story. While I call Colorado home, my family has roots in southern Louisiana, so it’s always a delight to see Metairie and Lafayette casually name-dropped and think that I, too, could belong just a little bit to the Savoie sisters 😉

You’ll like this book if you like True Blood, vampire books, werewolf books, and light and fluffy reads with sexy heroes and sassy heroines!

Spice: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 sexy. Just flat out sexy.
HEA status: 🚢 I ship!

Book three in the Stay A Spell series stars Nico the werewolf and Violet, a powerful Seer and witch. Two years earlier Nico and Violet had a very HOT encounter and now Nico is back in town determined to have Violet for his in more than one passionate encounter. Violet however has plans of her own that do not include steamy liaisons with Nico, no matter how good he is with his tongue.

They work together as business partners to bring Violet's dream to life, a tattoo shop that caters to other Supernaturals offering charmed tattoos to help them navigate the difficult side effects of being a vampire or werewolf.

While things heat up between Nico and Violet danger lurks in the town when a dangerous pack of werewolves keeps seeking Violet out until she eventually goes missing. Nico will risk it all to get her back, even if he unleashes his wolf to it's full, uncontrolled power.

I ADORED this book! It is full of all the things I love about this series: SWOONY romance, five alarm steam, the BEST Alphamellow heroes (Nico is so soft and sweet but FIERCELY alpha for Violet), the wonderful Savoie family, GREAT comedy and laugh out loud dialogue, and a perfect Happily Ever After.

This book may be my new favorite in the series, I loved this couple, I loved seeing more of Evie and Mateo, I loved the potential for the future couple (I need that Grim romance!) We also have some scenes with Fred a near zombie pet chicken, poetry writing werewolves, and HILARIOUS and highly inappropriate limericks. This book was fabulous and I loved it!

4 stars - It was really good

Violet Savoie plans to open her own tattoo shop that will cater to supernaturals in need of permanent charms. Her biggest challenge is coming up with a charm to help her business partner Nico control his werewolf side.

This book was great! I couldn’t put it down. Violet is a seer who has the unique and fascinating ability to create charmed tattoos. I really liked Violet. She was a compassionate woman, and a bit stubborn. She is a woman who is determined to change the world for the werewolves because she knows it's the right thing to do. Nico was a wonderful and protective hero. He instantly knew Violet was his mate but he never pushed her. He would have waited forever for her and I found that adorable.

Violet and Nico had a very intense and steamy relationship, once Violet let him in anyways. I loved every minute of it and can’t wait to see how their relationship will progress in future books. As always with this series, I really loved the Savoie sisters and all their friends. They are all just great side characters and I really can’t wait to see the other sisters fall in love.

Another fun read in the Stay a Spell series! I'm really enjoying this family of witches and all the side characters that come with this series.

We got to see some of that heated spark between Viloet and Nico in the last book and now we know what brought that on. I'm not the biggest fan of pushing away in a romance but I can get behind the reasons why Violet was so hesitant to start anything with Nico. She had a valid reason but you still got to see that strong pull between the two when they weren't a couple

I really love when it's the hero who does the chasing and Nico is one of the most determined heroes. He was patient but also relentless in his pursuit of her. I loved it!

I have to say, I am also very excited about the possible love connection we got hints to for one of the other sisters. I can't wait for the next book!

This is my first experience with Juliette Cross and I am now hooked. I will promptly be reading the books previous to this book.

I loved and enjoyed Violet and Nico. I loved the sexual tension and banter between these two. I appreciate that the waiting period for when they finally realized their feelings weren't too long

I was interested in the wolf, witches, grime community. The whole aspect of a supernatural community is genius. This certainly made the storyline interesting

I just loved it and I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series

I receive an ARC of WGS from NetGalley and devoured it in a day. I’m a huge fan of the series and this book did not disappoint. Like the first 2 books, the chemistry in this book was explosive. Nico and Violet set the pages on fire.

I love how Juliette deals with the werewolf prejudice in this book and how Violet desires to help rectify the situation. This book is definitely a re-read for me.

Witches Get Stitches is the third book in the Stay A Spell series following the Savoie sisters in New Orleans. Each book so far has had an element of mystery or suspense along with romance.
I have been dying for this book since it was announced, and it did not disappoint. I loved Violet and Nico so much. This book had the perfect amount of pining, tension, and steam. Juliette Cross does a fantastic job of writing protective men and matching them with strong and independent female characters, who really don't need protecting. This story was an excellent execution of the friends to lovers trope.
I also loved how Cross addresses real world issues such as prejudice and discrimination in her paranormal world. The sisters and their friends are actively trying to change themselves and the world around them for the better.
The characters in this world are diverse and intriguing. There is not one character that I don't want to know more about. Cross drops little tidbits of characters interactions with each other that have you craving the next sister's story.
I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a paranormal romance with themes of close family, friends to lovers, slow burn, and an element of suspense.

Every time I finish one of these books in this series, I keep wanting more! Was really excited to learn more about Nico and Violet. I just wished there was more of an emotional reevaluation between Violet and Nico at the end where Violet shows her true feelings. Also wish the subplot of Nico's niece was more flushed out and not just there for plot filler.

These novels are so easy and sexy and the pacing is so fast and fun. I love these witchy sisters and the paranormal who love them. Stay a Spell is fast becoming my fan fav of paranormal romance.

Fantasy, paranormal and romance are some of my favourite genres and my go-to when I need to de-stress. So a combo of all three in one book was a treat.

Violet is a powerful Seer who has been on the lookout for her true love from the age of sixteen. And yet when she does find him, misreading her tarot cards, she is quick to friendzone him. Werewolf Nico has been waiting for the past two years for Violet to recognise their bond. Just when things start looking up for the pair, Violet is kidnapped leaving Nico's wolf wild and bereft.

The third book in the 'Stay a Spell' series, this was a fun, light and steamy read. With a broody, crooning werewolf for a hero, a snarky tattoo-artist witch with psychic and telekinetic abilities for a heroine, a plethora of supernatural side-characters, witty banter, sizzling chemistry and some action, this book in my opinion was a winner.

The author has created a fantastic world of supernaturals where witches, vampires, werewolves and grims coexist. It does take a while to keep track of all the characters, but once you do, it only makes you want to read the other books in the series too. I loved all the characters in the book and am looking forward to reading the remaining Savoie sisters' stories.

Overall, a fabulously charming and magical story. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for providing a digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This has honestly been on my TBR list for so so long, and I'm so pleased it's finally out! I'm really loving this series and how each sister has their own unique character. The stories are so well thought out, and not similar at all. Each book is a completely new journey and I love it!

Nico and Violet's chemistry was so great and I loved how the relationship didn't develop 'typically', really creating a hilarious bond with the couple, who totally knew each other from the inside out. Violet and Nico's conversations were brilliant, and I really enjoyed the sass they brought out within each other.

I really love how Juliette hints at the next couple's book, giving little peaks at what's to come. It definitely made me so excited to read the book for Violet and curious as to how it played out. Speaking of this... I'm so sooo excited to read Clara's book. It sounds like it'll be adorably hilarious! Her knitting is adorable!
