The characters were well-developed, and I found myself invested in their lives. The plot was well thought out and had enough twists and turns to keep me on the edge of my seat. I appreciated the attention to detail, and the author did a great job of creating a vivid world that was easy to picture in my mind.
The themes explored in the book were thought-provoking and gave me a lot to consider. The story had a great message and was inspiring, leaving me feeling uplifted and motivated. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good story with well-developed characters and a powerful message.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with this book and would definitely read it again. It was a great addition to my reading collection, and I can't wait to see what else this author has in store.

I love Nantucket and was intrigued by the premise of this book and the beautiful setting. What a wonderful family drama full of secrets and surprises. This is a great beach read with characters that I won’t soon forget. A wonderful heartwarming story.

I’m not sure what I think about this book. I liked the overall theme, but it was very overwhelming as every character in the book had some sort of drama going on - and I have to admit that all the “witchy” stuff was unexpected - and I’m not sure how I feel about it either as I usually don’t choose to read books containing witchcraft.

One thing that did bother me was an inconsistency with Willow (the witch). Early in the book she states she lives with her aunt for $1000 per month, but later she states she inherited the home from her grandmother. Little changes like that bug me as it shows that nobody paid attention to the details of this book’s creation.

The book ends on cliffhangers involving four or five of the main characters. I doubt I’ll be reading the next book as I just never really made a connection with these people. Samantha was the worst - her roommate turned boyfriend should have kicked her to the curb. Matthew was terrible - if i was charlotte, I would not have been able to forgive him. Actually, many of the characters were no better.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

This was such a good beach read. It is a story that teaches us to reevaluate our lives and to really define what is ultimately important to us. I loved the characters and thought that Delaney did a wonderful job creating characters with depth where we could see their flaws and strengths. Truly would recommend this book to anyone.

Why can't I inherit a cool beachfront property? I would love it for sure. But this story isn't just about inheritance. It is about Ava, her friends and family. It is about a life that suddenly took a turn from a Manhatten lawyer to Nantucket inn owner. Well really about the dream of making an inn from a mansion she inherits. The book has a healing witch element too. The ending sets the stage for the next book in the series. So not all of the side stories are resolved. Have to the read the next book to see what happens next. I liked the story.

Three women, in their 50s, look at life-changing plans to move from NYC to Nantucket when one of them inherits a home she wants to turn into a boutique hotel. The story is about relationships with friends, family and partners. There's also a mystical angle that appears in the middle of the book. At times, there's a big focus on food, with detailed descriptions of preparations leading me to think there would be recipes at the end (but I was wrong). The characters are quite interesting, though I sometimes thought they were not always realistic. And, there were parts of the action that also didn't seem quite right--for instance, one would not paint walls in a room where workers were installing flooring and lighting at the same time. That's a recipe for disaster on a couple of different fronts. Given the description of this home, it seems as though the plans for guests and menus were a bit too grand--so many different food options for what would be a fairly small number of guests. So, overall, it was an interesting story, but could use more refining.

To me this was a slow and sometimes confusing book to read. There are a lot of characters and they are sometimes hard to keep track of. But I did like the theme of the book and the story, about life, family and friends and especially for me it is about women.

The witchy theme is a bit different and sometimes unreal to me but that is what a good book brings to life. It is a story, it is a fantasy to a point and it is entertaining.

I enjoyed it but can't say I loved it but would like to see what other books Ainsling Delaney writes.

An enjoyable read with likeable characters set in the picturesque Nantucket … focusing on love loss and friendship - at times it did get a little confusing with a white witch and spells introduced but cane together at the end leaning the reader ready for the next instalment in the series …. There is also quite a lot of focus on cooking and almost gives a recipe at times

A tale of family and friends, love, illness and loneliness set against the backdrop of a house bequeathed in a will. When Ava is left a beachfront property ripe for renovation she moves lock stock and barrel with one of her friends to the very town where her daughters live. The relationship is strained at first but as hearts thaw the family pulls together. A perfect summer read.

The rule of 3
3 friends
3 women plus 1 as sisters
Witches work with the rule of 3 and mainly females through the Moon goddess. Although she is night and there is a god for day.
I found this an interesting book to read even though it takes up the theme of women past or during menopause which is common amongst fantasy writers st present.
The Inn came through the story as being a place of healing, whether emotional, psychological, or physical.
I enjoyed the book and intend to read the remainder of the series, and so was disappointed to discover that even though it says book2 is already published, i couldn't find if
As for the Shakespeare 'toil and bubble' explanation of the contents of the brew, i checked it out! And yes, Delaney is correct, most of these would the tricksy witch names for the ingredients. For 2 reasons. 1. To keep the contents of the potion secret; and 2. To make people fear them..
So eye of newt is black mustard seed, toe of frog is buttercup buds, wool of bat is holly, tongue of dog is houndstonhue, tooth of wolf is wolfsbane, adders fork is adderstongue herbs, lizards leg is breastweed , and owlets wing is henbane

I liked the premise of this book and the story but I just felt it kept going off in tangents and needed a good edit. I wasn't really that keen on the writing style either.

I found it took awhile to get into this book and I liked some characters more than others.

I have never been to Nantucket and I found the setting wasn't as visually described as I was expecting.

I found there were too many characters and at times it was hard to remember who was who.

Thanks to Ainsling Delaney and BooksGoSocial for my ARC in exchange for an honest and voluntary review.

3.5 stars.

I read this book in two days...was captivated by the characters, the beach setting, and all of the issues they had to work through. Normally I don't love stories that veer into the "magical" realm, but it didn't detract from the story at all and actually made Willow interesting and someone to root for. Great read!

As I'm in my 40s, I'm becoming more interested to read books that relate to older characters. I love stories set in a beach I can 'escape' to, and I could relate to the characters, which got me intrigued and turning the pages. Overall, a great book and I'll definitely check out more from this author.

Thank you NetGalley, Ainsling Delaney and BooksGoSocial for the copy of The Nantucket Beachfront Inn. This is my personal review.
This is the first book I have read by this author. I started the book and jumped in to get to know the characters in the book and how they all fit together. The book had a lot going on in it and I was trying to put who is who and what was what together as I read. It was a bit choppy for me at times, but I kept reading.
