This book was epic. The story was amazing. No slow bits in the story.
Kerry Kaya is becoming a rising star in her genre and is up there with the other leading lady's in gangland crime thrillers.
Amazing

The Price by Kerry Kaya is a gangland crime book. An absolutely fantastic one at that! This is the first book I have read by this author and I'm wondering why.
The story follows the Fletcher Family, Fletch his brother Spence and their mum. They are a loyal family and look after each other. The focus is mainly on Fletch and how he perceives his life including being part of a criminal underworld and the steps they will take to protect each other, no matter what the cost.
I really connected with the family as the story evolved and this holds it apart from just being a run of the mill gangland crime book. We meet all sorts of characters throughout, from the rival gangs to Tina, the one who could make an ant mad!
The pages flew as I needed to know the conclusion of the book. The ending was worth the wait for sure. The Price is about secrets we keep for family and the price that must be paid in order to keep them. A gripping standalone that I would say fans of Kimberley Chambers and Mandasue Heller would appreciate too. Thanks to Rachel's Random Resources, Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the copy of the book and my place on the tour.
