I enjoyed the art and clever story for this book but unfortunately I felt the book struggled with what it was trying to accomplish. I can’t tell if the book was supposed to be a poem or just a prose story.

The rhyme and meter were all over the place and really hurt the flow of the story. I enjoyed the imagery in the language and the art but the directionless prose really threw me off throughout the whole book.

I liked the message and think the kiddos will, too! Mr. Agard's poem was entertaining (I loved the sneaky coyotes cross dressing to go to each others conferences.! I liked the illustrations, too.
