Oh I love Debbie Macomber Christmas books! There is nothing quite like them. It's one of the things I always look forward to.
This book was no disappointment. It was filled with all the wonderful things you come to expect from Debbie Macomber.
I really can't remccomend this book more. You will not regret picking it up, unless of course you have anything else to do for the next couple days.

This is the perfect book to get you in the mood for Christmas. The characters are great and the story is wonderful. I just wish my letters to Santa also came true. I would have rocked that mullet wig.

Dear Santa by Debbie Macomber 4 stars

Lindy Carmichael returns home for the holidays a little sad and stressed out. A talented web designer she has a major proposal pending at her company that could net her a promotion and recognition. On the relationship front, she just found out her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend. All in all, she really needs time at home and support from her parents. Her mom brings down an old box filled with letters she wrote to Santa; with a little encouragement her mom tells her to embrace the spirit and write a new letter to Santa with new wishes for her life. Her home visit is eventful with a re-connection with an old girl friend and a re-introduction with a boy from elementary school. The boy is now a handsome man; romance is in the air and with a little Christmas magic - a happily ever after is in the cards.

This is one of Debbie Macomber's Christmas romances that warms the heart. Instead of Mrs. Miracle or angels, we have Santa Claus as "cupid" for this story. It was a fast read and enjoyable. I look forward to the author's next book.

Thank you Netgalley and Random House Publishing Group/ Ballantine for this ARC.

Ok, When can this be made into a Christmas movie?! I adored this book so much, even reading in the summer it made me long for hot chocolate, snow and Christmas cookies. I loved all of the characters, especially Lindy and Billy. A really cute book, highly recommend!

I loved this Debbie Macomber Christmas Story Dear Santa! You are never to old to write to Santa. The Magic of Christmas unfolds in a very natural setting and is able to give everyone hope. Coming home for Christmas was just what she needed to help heal her heart and make old friendships new again. I hope to see this book as a movie later on.

Dear Santa by Debbie Macomber . Santa granted my wish (early too), the perfect Debbie Macomber Christmas romance novel. Lindy and Billy (Will) are a wonderful couple with a heartwarming story.

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

Okay so this was a very sweet story By Debbie Macomber, I gotta say no one writes a christmas story better than Debbie..

Thank you for opportunity from Netgalley, Random House Publishing Group and Ballantine sending me an Advanced Reader’s Copy..

I suppose it is not surprising that this book reads like a Hallmark holiday film. After all, five Christmas novels of this best-selling author, Debbie Macomber, have been made into hit movies for Hallmark already. I can easily see how this story could become the sixth.

I typically only read a few type of these books a year because they are very sweet and I tend to like more heavy stuff.

This book is a great holiday story full of the warm & fuzzies that are perfect for the holiday season.

Lindy returns home for Christmas, needing a much deserved vacation away from work and broken friendships and relationships. Her mother shows her the letters she wrote to Santa as a child, and encourages her to write a new letter to Santa with her current wishes. The time provides good opportunities for reflection and dreaming. The magic of Christmas and Santa becomes infectious as Lindy begins to enjoy the time with her family and reconnect with old friends.

This book was sent to me on Kindle by Netgalley. It is a sweet cozy mystery but one of my favorite authors. The protagonist has come home to her parents for Christmas and writes a letter to Santa...quirky and fun. She meets friends from the past and begins new old relationships with them. She is a member of a loving family who celebrates the holidays traditionally. This is a quick read. Try it.

Dear Santa by Debbie Macomber is a wonderful, sweet, heartwarming, and romantic book that really put me in the holiday spirit.

I loved the festive take on Lindy returning to her hometown in Washington for the holidays to recharge her senses, priorities, and to find herself again. Through that short time period she is able to give in to her mother’s suggestions, tap into her memories, hopes, dreams, and realize that what she was yearning for in her life, was there all along as part of her past. With a little help from Santa and a few letters past and present, Lindy is able to find her Christmas wishes come true.

I loved the unique addition of the letter writing to this classic concept. It gave the narrative a fresh take. I liked Lindy and Billy. They had chemistry and complimented each other well. I also liked the pacing, the progression, and the ending was as sweet as one of my favorite cookies, gingerbread. (It ties with pumpkin…without cream cheese ick…by the way, however pumpkin doesn’t fit in as well as tasty gingerbread in this situation :)

5/5 stars
