Thank you to the author, publisher, and to NetGalley for a digital copy of this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Corrie Ten Boom’s novel, The Hiding Place, is a life changing read. Corrie shows you what miracles can come when you practice your faith in even the most extreme of circumstances. It is a treasure to have so many of her words put together in a book like this that can be used for your own meditation and devotional reading. I enjoy the format that there is a key verse, but that more verses show up in the text and that there is a prayer at the end.

God Is My Hiding Place is a beautiful devotional with writings from Corrie ten Boom, as well as added prayers for every day's devotion. I have not actually read anything from Corrie ten Boom before, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this devotional. Each devotion is short enough, yet long enough to truly hold wisdom for every day. There are inspiration stories, and each devotion encourages and points the reader to God. It really is a wonderful devotional that I would recommend.

GOD IS MY HIDING PLACE is a forty day devotional based on Corrie ten Boom’s book The Hiding Place that will really draw you closer to the Lord as you read about her experiences and the way her faith in Christ held fast because of her relationship with her Saviuur. Each daily reading starts with a Scripture which deals with such subjects as forgiveness, salvation, gratitude, and God’s love for us and His longing to have fellowship with His children, to name a few. As we read about God’s answers to her prayers in the darkest of situations, we are encouraged by her testimony to trust Him more ourselves. We are left with the very strong impression that to doubt our Heavenly Father’s goodness towards us is the grossest of sins!
It is a well compiled and brilliant read and one I highly recommend.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Bathany House. The opinions in this review are competely my own.
