Genealogy and a ghost! These elements make a great series. This installment was very good with several twists in the plot. I love the characters and look forward to reading more about them.
Many thanks to Lifelong Dreams Publishing and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Not sure if reading the first book would help, but I struggled with this one. Picked it up, put it down, several time before getting into it. Might just be me, as several reviewers gave it high praise. Would recommend, but just wasn't my favorite. Not sure why.

I liked the characters, the setting and the mystery. My problem with this book was the slapdash attitude towards masking. If you are going to set the book during COVID times, either be a non-masker, or a masker. The character sometimes wore her mask (oh, I'm going to be seeing someone who has cancer, let me wear my mask) but she'd socialize with others - co-worker, 90 year olds, and others in town without her mask. This threw me out of the story every time it was mentioned the MC pulled her mask up.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my eARC in exchange for an honest review.
