This is a good book about the presence of God for us all the time even when we're not able to see Good anywhere from our eyes. God is present in form of nature and we are so naive to find him in physical form as a human.

So, to summarize the story in nutshell, there was a news spread with the speed of sound that God's coming to visit us and all animals started to overthink their acts and their would-be-presence when they first meet God. But in the end, on the final day told, the rumours kept aside and they have been told the essence of having God all the time for & around us.

This picture book has cute, energetic illustrations and a sweet story. The animals have heard a rumor that God is coming to visit, and they're all frantic to look and seem amazing so that they can impress God. In the end, they learn that God has been there with them the whole time, is always with them, and loves them the way that they are. This humorous, reassuring story that will appeal to people from a variety of religious backgrounds, since it doesn't get into specific theology beyond God's omnipresence and love.

I received a copy of this ebook for an honest review from netgalley.

This book is sweet. It's all about the anticipation of God's coming when it is reveled that God is always around us. The owl of course is very wise but all the animals in this book have something to offer.

I loved how sweet and how fast paced this book was.

I read it to my daughter and we both talked about how God didn’t just come for a visit.
He came to stay with them and be with them, always.

The entire animal kingdom is all abuzz with the news. Each type of animal tried to do their best to get ready (except the owl). When he didn't come by nightfall, the owl told them everything they needed to know. A marvelous book!
The illustrations by Angela Glökler and Rea Grit Zielinski are simply delightful, imaginative, and brilliantly colorful.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to your church library!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Flyaway Books via NetGalley. Thank you!

God's Coming to Visit by Franz Hubner is a wonderfully written and illustrated children's book! The animals are preparing for God's visit but are worried about meeting Him. I absolutely LOVED the message and reminder that God's already with us. Will be purchasing this book!

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for the advanced reading copy.

through the animals’ anxious preparations for Gods arrival, children discover the truth that God loves them and simply wants to be with them. The animals brainstorm about ways to impress God, but in the end they discover that they don’t have to perform for Him, He just wants to be with them, and He is always present!

Great lesson for kids and reminder for adults too!

I received a digital copy in exchange for an honest review.

What a wonderful book. It is rare that I review a digital book and yet decide to buy it in a hard copy. This will be one of those once it is published. I will be buying one for each of my grandchildren.
It has a much needed message of acceptance and love. The book is particularly appropriate for those with faith but is a great message for all humankind through the interactions of the animal characters.
Lovely illustrations and page layout too. I'm looking forward to seeing this in print.
This book would make a fantastic christening or first birthday gift.

God's Coming to Visit!" is a sweet and reassuring picture book. It is beautiful visually as well as textual and the illustrator has really captured the varied emotions in the animal's expressions.

Here’s what’s going on in the forest…
There is a rumor going around that God is coming to visit. This causes all the animals to panic. Some are nervous and even a little afraid while some are in a hurry to do something that will impress God.

“I’ll do something AMAZING! everyone thought.
The ants built a tower taller than any anthill.
The hummingbirds practiced a cactus dance.
The fish formed a choir.
A gull tried acrobatics.
The llama perfected toe wiggling.”
My fav… the toe wiggling llamas.

The owl foreshadows the truth of God's presence early on in the story but is cut off by the excitement of his friends who are distracted trying to find ways to make sure God gets a proper welcome.

At the end of the day, they realize that God still hasn't arrived and as always the wise old owl finally gets to explain that God is already there, in fact He is always with them. They also don't need to do anything special to impress God or earn His love. He already loves them no matter who they are and what they can or can't do. It’s simple, love God and love each other.

This book is a marvelous illustrative way to show children how God will be there for them no matter what and there is nothing that they need to do to earn the amazing love of God. His love is unending and never changes.

I highly recommend this adorable book with a simple yet powerful message all, young and old, will find benefit and hope.

"You don't have to do anything extraordinary," said the owl.
"Then what should we do?" everyone asked.
"Be still and feel God's love," said the owl. "Share your worries with God and ask for help. Most of all, love God and one another."

These are the wise words from the owl when everyone gets into a panic over God visiting. The truth is, God is always around us as this beautiful story reminds us. Whether we are worried or happy, scared or sad, we should always remember than God is with us.

Thank you, NetGalley and FlyAway Books, for the opportunity to read and review this inspirational children's story.

Franz Hübner’s God’s Coming to Visit carries one of the best messages I’ve seen, not just in a Christian picture book but even among books for adults. You do not have to struggle, arraign yourself in beautiful clothes, perform parlor tricks or anything else to please God: Just be yourself. That’s good enough.

Indeed, being yourself is a pretty good message even amongst a secular audience. Highly recommended.

"God's Coming to Visit!" is such a sweet little book. It is so beautiful and I actually teared up a little reading it. I can't wait to share it with the little one's in my family.
The art style is very cute and there are a lot of bright colors that will keep children engaged in the story.

This book is truly wonderful. The illustrations are quite lovely and will have your children studying each and every page. It's the message though where the true beauty lays. Every single child on the planet should know that God loves them, and is there with them at all times, both day and night.
I highly recommend this story becomes a part of all children's libraries, to be enjoyed by both kids and adults alike!

Thank you to Netgalley and Flyaway Books for this Arc.

Beautiful message for those that believe in God. The illustrations and animals keep you drawn in, and the story line is such a great message for all. God is always with those who believe, and you don't have to be more than you are in order to impress him. He loves us all. Great book for little ones.

I found this to be a beautifully engaging and sensitive book. The illustrations are vivid and worth spending time looking through and talking about with your child. The message of the book is that God isn’t coming someday, and He doesn’t expect us to be perfect. He’s always here, appreciates when we try our best, and loves us entirely. Perfect length and wording for little ones.
Thank you to NetGalley and FlyAway books for this lovely ARC.

A cute short read for children.

Since beliefs differ, it might not be for all. For those who believe God, irrespective of where you come from and whom/ what you believe, this book would work.
