4/5 stars!

Ainsley and Peter Greenberg need a marriage refresher, as things have gotten stale after 3 kids and 15 years of marriage. Ainsley suggests an “arrangement” involving a dating app. The rules are set, and things start to get crazy! Past secrets come out and the twists and turns just keep on coming!

This book clocked in at 270 pages and was super fast read. It took a few days to read - the book just flew. Fans of psychological thrillers who love twisty plots will love this book. You may have to suspend disbelief just a bit in order to fully enjoy the book, but if you just let it play out, you should enjoy the ride. There were definitely a few “jaw dropping” moments!

Fans of “My Lovely Wife” will enjoy this book as well. As far as Psychological thrillers go, this book was fun and fast. I will definitely check out more books by this author!

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to review this audio title!
When I started this audio book, I thought it was a story of a lifeless marriage in need of a pick me up (by way of open marriage)
Halfway thru I learned this is a thriller, with so many twists and turns, it puts any roller coaster at Six Flags to shame.
I think the marketing should indicate this is more of a thriller, because I think you’ll gain more of an audience.
I do enjoy the occasional caper but I typically like to know in advance that’s what I am reading. Maybe that’s just a personal preference.
I think I would have liked it more if it had been more like Presumed Innocent (and less like a Hallmark mystery with obligatory sex and violence scenes)
The writer is effective, but the story is not my cup of tea.

This book was a page turner from beginning to end. Very captivating with amazing character development. What if you thought an open relationship could help your husband appreciate and love you more? It’s all a set up to get him to love her more but you will never see the twists and turns that keep coming around every corner. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

WOW. This was one of the most unpredictable stories I’ve read. Ainsley and Peter wanted to fix their marriage, and they’d go to drastic lengths to do so… The ending was constant twists you just couldn’t guess.

It's very possible that I would have enjoyed this book in another format, or that I'm just not the right reader for this book, but I couldn't bring myself to finish The Arrangement. While I can't say if it was the narrators' voice acting choices or the text itself, I found this audiobook to be more akin to a series of reality television interviews than a multi-narrator novel. Not an uninteresting story by any means, just not the book for me!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. I listened to it in one day because I needed to know what happened next. As is common in thrillers, there are twists and turns throughout the plot. I am rating this book four stars instead of five because there was one plot twist that wasn't fully explained or tied into the rest of the story. To the point where I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how that was relevant to the story other than as a misdirect. Had more been said about that specific twist to tie everything together, this likely would have been a five star review. Thanks to the publishers for providing me access to this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This book was crazy! I mean that in the best possible way. I love how it starts out with the presentation of the arrangement and how reluctant the husband seems to be to do it.

It is ironic given all that happens in this book that I smiled (and cringed) almost the whole way through. I had my suspicions about what was going on and it was great to see how everything was revealed bit by bit as we gained more insight into the characters. The timing and pacing for each reveal was very important to keep readers invested in both the husband and wife's well being. I have to be vague in order to avoid spoilers but suffice it to say we get to see who they really are by book's end. These two were made for each other in the worst way.

The unreliable "trickster" narrators take you on a journey full with many twist and reveals by books end. Slowly but surely they shed their snake skin to truly reveal themselves and their arrangement. They shock each other as much as they shock the reader.

I really enjoyed listening to this book.

Omg I absolutely loved this audiobook! The lady narrator talked a little weird sometimes lol but this book kept me intrigued and so many twists I didn’t see coming
Can’t really describe this book I don’t think without giving something away but definitely listen to it :)

This is the second audiobook from this author for me. The book is very quick-paced and kept me engaged. I gobbled it right up. This couple, Peter and Ainsley, are going through a rough patch in their marriage and decide to pursue an open marriage. I thought, sure, why not? That should fix things, let's do this and settled in for some drama. While I didn't love the characters, this book definitely served up some surprises. Like do you ever hear one line in the story and it's so out of left field that you feel like you need to stop and completely restart the book???? You might have that feeling when you listen to this one. It will keep you on your toes and does not disappoint.

The book is told from Peter and Ainsley's POV. I enjoyed the narrators. Hers more than his, but it was still a very enjoyable audio and I'll definitely be picking up the next one by Kiersten.

Thanks to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media and Kiersten Modglin for an advanced audio copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Audiobook Review- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Huge thank you to @netgalley, @kierstenmodglinauthor, and @dreamscape_media for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Alright guys, Kiersten Modglin does it again! This one started off slow and continued that way with a slow burn but holy smokes the ending was worth it!! I literally was awe struck multiple times when the twists came at me (especially the last chapter)!!

Peter & Ainsleys marriage is basically at a breaking point & they decide to try one last ditch effort to solve it: an open marriage with specific rules they each have to follow. Will this arrangement save their marriage or ruin it all together?

Make sure to preorder this one- it comes out on July 1st & would be a perfect read for your 4th of July weekend!!

I loved this audiobook! A quick read, it kept me wondering where it was going the whole way through.

Ainsley and Peter Greenburg are at a crossroads in their marriage. In an attempt to repair their relationship, the come to an arrangement where each of them can sleep with other people, mo strings attached. What started as an innocent arrangement with clear rules turns into a messy situation with numerous secrets revealed.

Told in alternating chapters you get both Ainsley and Peter’s perspective this is definitely a book you will not be able to put down.

The audio narrators do an amazing job of telling this story.

Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media LLC for this ARC

WOW is all I can say. I did not see the multiple plot twisted coming at all. Kiersten Modglin did a great job with keeping me on my toes with her book The Arrangement. Must read.

Thanks to NetGalley for an advanced audiobook copy.

Wow! I really enjoyed this. The narrators were great and easy to understand.

As for the story, I really enjoyed it. Several plot twists throughout. My only issue is the book was way too short. I needed more.

This was scandalous and entertaining. The Arrangement is about a married couple who after years of raising their three children and focusing on their careers, find themselves in a rut with their relationship. They decide to fix this by devising a detailed plan for an open relationship.

Why they think this is the answer to their problems, I do not know. I personally think it’s a horrible idea, and with the way this story progresses, I clearly am not wrong. I murmured “bad idea, bad idea, whyyy?” to myself quite a few times.

The open arrangement comes with strict guidelines that each couple must abide by in order to make it work and repair their struggling love life together. Welp! Some pretty dark things end up going down and the secrets start stacking up.

The character development of this book wasn’t super strong, but the twists were unexpected and the entertainment factor was there. It isn’t a deep story, but it was short, had a good pace, and kept me interested.

The audio quality of this was great. The story alternates perspectives between husband and wife and the dual narrators both nailed their roles. I listened to this book in a day, and couldn’t stop once I started.

3.5/5 stars rounded up to 4 for this review

Many thriller readers will love this book and it will no doubt be a hot summer seller. My problem with it is that I found the actions by the primary characters to be completely unbelievable. I won't spoil the plot but at a major turn in the action, a choice was made that was ridiculous and for me that was the end of "the willing suspension of disbelief".

The double narrator worked perfectly for this book. It helped to keep straight who was speaking when, so you knew whose secrets were whose. And, man, were there a lot of secrets. Just when I thought that I had the final twist, another one came around the corner. The narrators did an excellent job of hiding the twists and turns that were coming at the reader. 10 / 10 amazing thriller.

Well played Kiersten Modglin! Very well played!! You got me hook, line and sinker in this masterfully executed twisty psychological thriller. Wow! I love a brilliant thriller and this was one that had me gripped from the first page.

Told from the perspectives of Peter and Ainsley, a couple with three kids whose marriage is on the rocks. Ainsley puts forth a desperate suggestion in which both she and Peter will date other people once per week in an attempt to rekindle the spark and save their marriage. Ainsley lays out the rules and Peter reluctantly agrees to them.

Lies, deception, manipulation, unreliable narrators…this story had it all. And yet I didn’t see that ending coming! I listened to the audiobook and the dual performance was terrific. The absolute perfect summer read that will leave you sated and shaking your head in awe.

A huge thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced audio copy in exchange for an honest review. #TheArrangement

You know how a lot of electronic music starts a little slow and build tensions, and then BOOMSH! The bass drops- hard- leaving you breathless and relieved and hyped and it’s so great? Well this book does that too, but then you realize that was just a mini-drop. The “big one” is still coming, and boy is it a doozy.

Yes, there are serious twists and turns in this domestic thriller, but to me they felt like dips and drops. More fun than the Twilight Zone ride at Disney! Just when I think I have it all figured out- BOOOMSH- the floor drops out and I am scrambling for a handhold.

Male and female narrators took turns reading chapters and on the whole did a great job, though the female narrator pronounced “rules” as “rolls” and “cauliflower” like “collie-flower.”

Couple points on the characters: the couple’s kids appear frequently in the beginning of the novel. Frankly, they’re horrible, ungrateful, insufferable little beasts. By the end, you hear almost nothing about the kids. Not sure if that was intentional on the part of the author to show the main characters’ changing focus, or if the thread of that storyline was just lost, or what.

Also, I’m not 100% sure what happened at the end. I think maybe the author should flesh out the endings just a little more to make sure we understand what’s happening.

Thank you #dreamscapemedia and #netgalley for the #arc of #thearrangement.

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to listen to The Arrangement by Kiersten Modglin in exchange for an honest review.

My first thought after finishing this book: What did I just read!

This domestic thriller was an absolute chaotic ride, that took me all over the place...all unexpected places. It was full of drama and twists and turns that had me guessing what was going to happen next.

Ainsley and Peter's marriage is an absolute mess and they have the idea that having an "open marriage"  will reunite their sexual spark. They couldn't have known what was coming...

I have to start off by saying that I haven't been so annoyed by characters in novel as I have with this one but I absolutely hated Peter!

He was a horrible husband and lied over and over again.

Reasons I hated Peter:

-His first thought upon starting The Arrangement was to start an affair with his coworker (which was not part of their rules).

-Lies to his coworker about the situation with Ainsley. Like seriously...he had free rein to have an affair with any women...and he still has to lie...

-His first instinct is to lie and he just continued to make bad decisions time and time again.

-Cheating on Ainsley with his wife's best friends husband and Ainsley was not aware of this indiscretion

The Ending was a complete mindfuck!!

1: Ainsleys revelation at the end floored me...and I kinda respected it. I mean, it was totally crazy but Peter deserved it...I literally have zero empathy for him.

2: This was followed by Peter's revelation and I was shocked even further.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I will certainly be picking up the rest of her books, if only to see if her other characters are as crazy as these two.

Captivating & intriguing!!! This psychological thriller had my attention right from the start. The story of Ainsley & Peter & the lengths they are willing to go to try to save their marriage.
Between those lengths & the tangled web they have woven leads to one surprise twist after another.
Just when you think you know what’s going on… another twist is added to the mix.
This was my first novel by this author but definitely will not be my last. I loved her writing style and the layout of the story in the alternating chapters from Ainsley & Peter’s perspective.
The ending I could have never predicted… bravo Kiersten Modglin. Well done & highly recommended.
Thank you to #NetGalley, #DreamscapeMedia, #TheArrangement & #Kiersten Modglin for the opportunity for an early listen of this audiobook. Very enjoyable narrators along with the terrific story line made this one difficult to put down!
