Oh what a web she can weave. Kiersten Modglin pulled me in this mystery early. There was suspense throughout the entire book as well as a surprise ending that made me laugh. Just don't mess with a wife is all I can say. We know more than you think.

I need to catch my breath. This small thriller was one big bag of twists!

Was it believable? Heck no, but no complaints here. I live for the ridiculous.

Was it compelling? Absolutely! I couldn't stop only because I needed to know what else could possibly complicate Ainsley and Peter's already rocky marriage.

I will definitely pick up another book by Kiersten Modglin, because she's got something dark and mischievous going on inside her head, and I am here for whatever that brain creates next.

Wow!!! Thank you to Netgalley for letting me review this amazing book. It definitely had my attention from start to finish and had me on the edge of my seat. Was so many things I did not see coming. Loved how each chapter was bouncing back from the male character then the female character. Was my first by this author but definitely not my last. Hoping she continues this story so I know what happens to the characters after the facts. Definitely one of my favorites of the year!!!!

What a wild ride!! This book has so many twists I have whiplash! Loved listening to the audiobook. Narration was great and it was hard to put down! I’m not sure I could ever have an arrangement as such but then again people are not always who we may think they are.

#Thearrangement by @kierstenmodglinauthor is what I stayed up until 3am (godhelpme) to finish listening to even though i knew i had to be up at 630 this sunny morning. Im chugging coffee and thankful today is friday.
This story had me #obsessed as well. God I love a domestic thriller! Two great thrillers in a row, how lucky am I? Im afraid to jinx myself with a third lol!!
In this story Ainsley and Peter are a couple with 3 kids, married over a decade, and are starting to feel like they're drifting slowly apart, when Ainsley cooks up a plan. She decides that they should each have a date night, once a week, with OTHER people!! The rules: Only Tues nights for her, Thurs nights for him. The story is told back and forth from his POV to hers and as we peer deeper and deeper into #thearrangement and into this couple's minds, we go on a truly twisted journey!!! From the get-go Peter is tormented by the idea of his wife being touched by another man. Tor-ment-ed. Especially because her night was up first! (brilliant) But when his night comes up omg what a pig. He conveniently forgets Ainsley when he's given the chance.
The rules: no emotional attachments, only fun and physical. And no spilling the tea on who what when and where.
What could go WRONG???? (ohhh so much)
If you enjoy marital type thrillers with truly despicable characters that make you cringe in their awfulness and makes you side-eye your own partner, pick this one up immediately. What great twists at the end too, ha!
Many thanks for @dreamscape_media & @netgalley for an early listen to this audiobook! This will be released July 1st, dont miss this one either!!

Hard to review this one. It definitely is a page-turner and also a quick read, which is nice. I was a bit thrown off by the twists at the end.

A big thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for a copy of the ARC.

This is the first book I’ve read by this Author. Can I just say, WOW, what an entertaining story! Ainsley and her husband Peter decide to save their marriage they need to see other people. It was Ainsleys idea to use a dating site, change their names and tell no one! Not even their 3 children.

This book was full of unpredictable twists and turns right up to the very end. There may be even too many twist but it’s so good you gotta just let go and go with it!! I really enjoyed listening to this Audiobook.

Narrated by George Newbern and Sarah Mollo-Christensen

Thanks to Netgalley for allowing me an advanced audiobook for my honest review!

Oh snap! What a wild ride! The first few chapters were slow but once it picked up, it picked up and slung me around like a day at Six Flags! The narrator was fabulous at bringing each of the characters to life. I can typically figure out thrillers long before they get revealed but I didn’t see any of this ones twists coming. I’ll be reading more of this author in the future!
A married couple are in a rut so they decide to have an open relationship to see if it can spice things up and bring them back together, with rules that they both have to stick to. As they start down this path, Ainsley, who considers herself a “fixer” encounters a situation that she can’t fix and it spirals into several challenging events that are well above her fixing. Then just when you think it can’t get any more crazy, it does!
Thanks to Netgalley for this audiobook arc in exchange for my review.

The Arrangement by Kiersten Modglin was a gripping and suspenseful read that I thoroughly enjoyed listening to! I did not know what to expect from Modglin as I have never read one of her books. But this one had me hooked from the beginning and completely on edge until the very end. The audiobook narration is also fantastic!

Holy. Wow. I just finished listening to The Arrangement by Kiersten Modglin, and all I can do is sit here trying to figure out which part made my heart pound the hardest.

This book is a dual-perspective narrative told by husband and wife (Peter and Ainsley Greenburg). After reaching what Ainsley considers the breaking point of their relationship, she proposes a new arrangement for the two of them. The rules of this arrangement are simple: they don't use their real names, they each go out with one new person per week, and they do not, under any circumstances, share details of what happens on their dates. This arrangement begins well enough, with the dates bringing Peter and Ainsley closer than they had been in years. Unfortunately, after a horrible accident occurs, the two feel the impact on every aspect of their marriage.

I think that this book was an absolute success. I couldn't stop listening because I wanted to know the ending. I thought I knew where the plot was heading and then was floored with the actual ending. I highly recommend reading this, especially if you're a fan of Freida McFadden or Edgar Allen Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart.

Overall rating: 3.5/5

The Arrangement will be available for purchase on July 1st. Be sure to add it to your Goodreads shelf and see where it's available for purchase. Also, be sure to check out Kiersten Modglin's website!

Oh. My. GOD. I listened to the audiobook for this and was able to fly through it. This was filled with unexpected surprises and had my jaw on the floor several times throughout. Just when you think the twists are over, there comes another twist. This is the perfect thriller.

The Arrangement was such a good read! I've read a few books with this premise... a troubled marriage leads the couple to create a no-questions-asked arrangement. When you've read a few, you've read them all, right? Nope, not this time!

The first half of the book was solid and entertaining and then the second half was just filled with OMG moments!

This is a great summer thriller... a fast-paced, quick and easy read with some great twists!

Oh. My. Goodness. Wow, wow, wow! This was seriously one of the best, most surprising books that I've listened to in a long time. Initially, The Arrangement, by Kiersten Modglin starts off as the book summary said. Ainsley and Pete's marriage is kind of at a stalemate. They aren't really happy but want to give it one last shot to see if they can get the spark back. So they decide on an arrangement, one where one night a week they each get to date a person other than their spouse. No questions asked. Nothing is off the table. Now, this arrangement was leaving me a little jaw dropped from the get-go, because I couldn't imagine ever being okay with something like this, but HA! That was literally the least jaw-dropping part of this book!

I don't want to give anything away, but this was my first time reading/listening to any of Ms. Modglin's books and it certainly won't be the last. Honestly? I could say more, but I don't want to give anything away to the reader because the surprises are that good and that unexpected. I just loved this book and highly recommend it to anyone that loves a captivating, fast-paced story that you won't want to put down.

The narrators did a good job narrating Peter and Ainsley's perspectives and brought life and emotion to the story. Thank you to NetGalley and Kiersten Modglin for this Audio-ARC in exchange for my honest feedback and review.

This felt a little too similar to the other books I've read about similar situations and arrangements. I did like the male and female narrators though.

What the F!! If you haven't heard this book, be forewarned – this is as wicked as it gets!! How could author Kiersten be so twisted to think of such plotlines?

Omg this completely blew my mind away. This was how a domestic thriller ought to be.

Aislyn and Peter decided to see other people to ramp up their closeness, but they loved each other a lot. But online dating brought out its own weirdos. Wasn't it?

Blurb was certainly sweet but the audio gripped me hard in its claws. Every chapter brought out suspense, sending a delicious thrill down my spine. The characters were as wicked as the author.

I loved, loved this audiobook. The narrators had the perfect intonation and pitch that I couldn't stop listening. Read it over the day, it was sooooo good!!!

The subplots were so damn delicious that I felt my heart would burst with the way my pulse was pounding. And that continued right till the last line of the book. Wow!! A complete fan of this author!! Sign me up for her fan club!!

One of my best listens!!

What an absolute crazy ride this book was!!! Ainsley Greenburg and her husband Peter seem to be at a dead-end in their marriage. Ainsley decides they need some major changes or she will be waking up alone in a few years. She devises an arrangement that she believes will rev-up the relationship. Peter seems as concerned as his wife and agrees but nothing is what you think!! Hang on and watch some serious girl power!!! This is an amazingly fast, no lag, hold on, you aren’t ready for this, you can’t put it down, I can’t believe that just happened gift of a story.

Ainsley and Peter's marriage has reached its plateu. They have devoted all their time to work and their children, leaving no time for their relationship. After trying everything to repair the years of damage, Ainsley came up with the perfect fix. The perfect arrangement.
They can see other people, on their designated days of the week. They do not discuss what they did, or who they were with. They can have their fun, then come home and continue the life they have for years.
Ainsley hopes this arrangement will change their marriage. Either it will spice things up, or make them appreciate each other more. What could possibly go wrong?

This is the second book I have read by Kiersten Modglin, and it is just as good! I'm beginning to think Modglin is a thriller writer to watch, even a must read.
The Arrangement started off by giving me full anxiety about Ainsley and Peter's marriage. I knew the arrangement wasn't a good idea, but I never would have predicted where it would go. One bad decision turned into a running jump off the cliff of bad outcomes.
Talk about twists. This book has several, all just as unexpected as the last. But that last chapter...omg... what a way to end it. I never expected it, and even let out a small gasp. lol
As an audiobook, this book was a whole experience. Alternating between male and female narrators, I got a good feel for the characters and their perspectives on the marriage. The narrators did a wonderful job with the emotion in their voices, making everything believable.
I loved this book. It has to be one of the most twisty reads of 2021.

Thank you to NetGalley and Kiersten Modglin for this Audio-ARC in exchange for my honest feedback and review.

Ainsley Greenburg and her husband Peter are having a rough time in their marriage. They don't want to divorce so they decide to start an open marriage. One night a week they each get to date, sleep, have fun with another person. It seems simple enough and may put some excitement back into their marriage. They just didn't expect this much excitement!

My jaw dropped halfway through this book and I did not close it until it was done!! I had so many of those OMG moments I couldn't count. I am always looking for new or underrated thriller authors and I just found one of my new favorites! I am recommending this book to everyone!!! Go get it!!!!!

I was introduced to this author through TikTok and after reading this one, I know I need to read everything she ever writes!

Ainsley and her husband, Peter, have been struggling with their marriage. After three kids, life has gotten in the way and they are slowly drifting apart. Ainsley decides to make a plan to try and repair their marriage. They each get 1 day of the week to date other people and neither is allowed to ask about each other’s dates. What could possibly go wrong?

The twists in this book were beyond what I would have ever thought. I was sure I had it figured out and at one point I actually gasped out loud!

I loved that this audiobook was a full cast. I always appreciate when there is a male and female voice narrating, it helps me really get in to the story.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the ALC in exchange for my honest review.
