Thankyou netgalley for the opportunity to have an arc copy of this book for a honest review.

. The story was very fast paced . It doesn’t have the thriller factor which is very light and not to extreme .
It does actually predicted the ending but it was worth to read ❤️

Another fast paced book by Willow Rose. She navigated well through some very heavy topics. I did get a bit confused at whose POV it was. There were a lot of characters and I got Rachel and Sam mixed up a bit.

I've read many of Willow Rose's back titles and know that I'll love any of her books, no matter the genre. Yes, her books are spread across many genre. It takes a very talented author to make every book worth your time to read. She has several series and writes stand alones as well. Her series characters are all different, there are no copied from one book to the next. Eva Rae Thomas is a favorite of mine. She's had a hard life and still stands up to and against the bad guys. If you've not read any of Rose's titles, you are in for a treat. You can start anywhere but you'll see the growth and development of the characters starting with book #1 in any of the series.

Four stars! This is another page turner in the Eva Rae Thomas series by Willow Rose! There are many twists and turn with a surprise at the end.

The book does have triggers as it describes scenes of rape and intimidation.

The story is one that happens way too often with women being preyed on by men in authority. The author uses her personal experiences to weave the stories of Samantha, Kimmie, Rachel, and others who have been sexually assaulted by Wanton the CEO and others in a position of power in a TV news station.

When Samantha is seen falling off a high ruse by the local police, Wanton is arrested for murder.

Eva Rae is contacted by a former coworker at the FBI to interview a witness that will only talk to her. This leads to her facing someone from her past that she doesn’t want to deal with, being on the run with the witness, and being hunted by hit men. All she wants is the truth.

Kudos to Willow Rose for using her personal experience to weave a story that needs to be told.

Thank you #NetGalley and #bouymedia for the opportunity to review.

Engaging from the first chapter, this is a fast paced story filled with a true to life storyline following the “me too” movement. Lots of angst and action, Willow Rose knows how to spin a tale that will keep the reader up way past their bedtime! Thank you NetGalley, Buoy Media and the author for this eARC in exchange for my honest review. Available now.

Great read! Has all the right suspense and who did it. Follow Eva as she is persuaded to help in a case where the witness is someone she has hated for years! Can she protect this person or will she be the cause of their death?

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

DUDE!
This was a fast-paced, addictive read that had me sucked in from the very beginning. And the only thing that made me put my Kindle down when I started reading this was the desperate need for sleep!
Fresh, original, and exciting plotline. There were definitely twists, turns, and surprises. The characters were intriguing, polarizing, and deep.
In addition to being well-written, the suspense builds at just the right pace as the mesmerizing story unfolds.

A fast paced thriller that makes you want to keep reading. The abuse could be triggering for some though. While it was not my favorite book ever, it was worth the read and introduced me to a new author. Can't wait to read more of her books!

I will admit that I had no idea that this book was part of a series and is actually the first book I have read by this author. The plot of rich powerful men getting away with sexual assault is an old, recycled theme, and the entire story of hired assassins and multiple car chases is so boring that I had to skip a few pages just to find something mildly interesting. But it was really the characters that killed the book. They were flat, cliched and frankly so *many* that it was difficult to bring myself to care about what happened to them. Even though the storyline centers around crimes against women, many of the female characters in particular were written exactly as they have been written for ages - beautiful AND intelligent AND talented but unaware of these qualities, terrified of men and authority, and ashamed that they must have brought sexual assault on themselves. Yes, shame and guilt are common amongst survivors, but just ONCE I'd like to read about a woman who can stand up for herself from the get-go. I'd also like to read about a woman who CAN be successful at her job WITHOUT her personal life being in complete shambles. The troubled, bleeding-heart detective who goes above and beyond for her work, neglects her home life and family and therefore naturally has a cheating/absent husband has been done to death.

3.5 Hearts I will be honest. I asked for all the books that Willow Rose recently put on NetGalley hoping I had found a new author. I got the first in this series and wasn’t sure about the writing. Then this one is #9. I will say I can tell the author has matured in her writing style and I appreciate that but I am just not sure that this author is for me.

Of the number of series I requested this is my favorite by Rose. I am just not sure that I would run out and pick up the books in the series I have not read.

A disturbingly realistic tale about misogyny and abuse. In fact, in the afterward, the author admits to basing some of the situations on personal experience. Kudos to her for outing her abusers. I find this author’s books are best to read in one sitting. This story is told in many different POVs so I find I get into a groove and can more easily identify the voice when I read it in one go. An emotional read that may have triggers for some readers because of the subject matter.

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher. In exchange I’m leaving an honest review.

When I requested the book I didn’t realize it was book 9 of a series so I was worried after I started it that I would be missing key points in the book. There was some backstory I wanted to know more of but enough was explained that I didn’t feel lost.

The writing is fabulous. The book is highly complex but the chapters are short and sweet which makes it a breeze to read. The story itself was action packed and suspenseful and the characters were well developed and likable. I definitely will be looking for more books by Willow Rose and going back and starting with book 1 of the Eva Rae series.

I discovered Willow Rose on NetGalley and cannot wait to read each and every one of her novels now. "SUCH A GOOD GIRL" is a light, easy read but full of suspense. I loved this novel so much, and highly recommend you find her novels and sit down for a long read!

This story will get your attention right from the beginning. It starts with a women falling from a balcony which happens to be witnessed by the police. They immediately go to the apartment where the victim died. The owner of the apartment was arrested and a second individual was brought in for questioning by the FBI. This individual told them that she would only talk to Eva Thomas. Eva is requested to come to Washington, D.C. but she is not given any information. Once she arrives and discovers who the person that wanted to talk to her, she got up and left. The two had a prior history between them. Eventually Eva talked to the witness and then left to return home. Later, Eva discovers that Kimmie, the witness, has disappeared. Eva winds up going to find her and when she does, discovers that someone was trying to kill her. Eva is too late and Kimmie is shot and rushed to the hospital.

Eva is told that Kimmie had died while she was in surgery. Eva felt bad because she allowed it to happen and carried the guilt. As time went by, Eva learned that Kimmie's son had been seen in a social media sight. AS Eva tried to get information from the FBI she was stonewalled and could get no answers. Eva pursued trying to identify the location where the son had been seen. After finding the location, she went and made a surprising discovery,

To discover what Eva found, how the trial related to the woman falling and other interesting facts, then you need to read this book. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent story! How can she even consider helping the woman that destroyed her marriage? Yet she has been called in to help solve a crime. The book is interesting and fast paced. I was pulled in right away and couldn't put the book down. I just had to know the ending. I loved it!

As I read I was getting confused with all the different characters. I realized that these women were integral to the story. Richard Wanton was evil. All of the women were needed to come together to prove him guilty. I like the separate chapters for each character.
