I really liked this next installment to the Sunshine Vicram series! I also love how Sun's daughter is also getting involved. The last 25% kept me on the edge of my seat! With the cliffhanger like THAT, I will for sure be back for the next one!

The audiobooks are fantastic and Lorelei King did amazing narration as always.

I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I have been thinking about this book ever since I read the first one over a year ago. I loved Sunshine Vikram then and I love her now.

This book has a lot going on. It's romance, mystery, and comedy all rolled into one. And just to keep it even more fun, in this one, there are several romances, several mysterious plots, and the comedy is just oozing from every dialogue. I totally understand that might not be everyone's cup of tea.

but it's totally mine.

I love every one of the characters in this book. I love that there are like 5 mysteries that come together and get solved and I just love this author's voice. I love the way the characters love each other and tease each other. I love the nonstop commentary. I even love the absurd scenes.

I was waiting for this book for over a year and it absolutely did not disappoint. I know it looks like many of the subplots from book one are tied up in this one but I really do hope there are more in the series. These characters are too good to not have more books written about them!

with gratitude to macmillan audio and netgalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review

Just audiobook was an absolute joy to listen to. Made me feel so happy and excited to listen to Sunshine’s next mystery with little spice. The narrator, Lorelei King was amazing as per usual. Definitely reread! 10 Star read and Listen! I’ve already preordered the audible audiobook and can’t wait to listen again! Thank you Netgalley and Macmillan Audio for this audio ARC opportunity!

Sunshine Vicram is back and as witty, capable, and cool as ever! The second book finds Sunny, Sheriff of the small town of Del Sol, with her hands full. A stabbing at the Ravinder's bar kicks up the action. It takes all of her investigative skills, her team of officers, and of course the handsome Levi Ravinder to get to the bottom of it. Auri, Sunny's daughter, doesn't make things any easier when she starts looking into serial killings that may or may not be tied to the 90-year-old Mrs. Fairborne. While Auri is getting herself and her friends into a lot of trouble, Sunny gets new accurate evidence in the ongoing investigation into her own kidnapping years ago. Throw in a YA romance, a raccoon, the town's secret society The Dangerous Daughters, and more and you get A Good Day for Chardonnay.

Full of humor, action, and suspense, there is a lot going on in the story and tons of interesting side characters. Reading the first book in the series will help with knowing who everyone is. Darynda's characters are funny, with big personalities, but also real and complex. I am completely invested in the lives of all the townspeople.

This story hits the ground running and the pace never lets up. The multiple story arcs mean that there is a lot to juggle, and there is never a dull moment. The sometimes over-the-top witty banter had me laughing out loud and Sunny's beautiful relationship with her daughter Auri touched my heart.

I am already impatient for the next book. Thank you Macmillian Audio and Netgalley for the audio ARC of this book. This is my honest review.

Lorelei King does an outstanding job as usual in narrating this story. I enjoy Lorelei's narration style and can recognize her distinctive voice immediately.
