Rushed is a cute story without any over the top angst. The premise is well set up: Cybil is on a couples retreat, minus her ex fiance and there she connects with Tanner the retreat guide. The pacing was fast, a bit too fast, so it didn't allow for a build up of chemistry, I felt like I was just told that they connected, but I didn't actually feel it. Overall, a quick enjoyable story, but not a memorable one.

***5 Stars***

I picked this one up because it had been awhile since I read anything by this author and it simply sounded like a fun read and I gotta say, I absolutely enjoyed this baby. It was a fun, quick read that was low on angst, but had just enough drama to keep things interesting and a whole slew of characters I ended up loving and wanting to know more about.

I adored Cybil and Tanner. Tanner is just a really good guy. Charming, protective and just an all around sweetheart. Cybil may be the queen of bad timing, but once she makes her mind up, she sticks with it. She’s sweet, sassy and just an all around good person.

Their journey to their HEA is that mix of instant attraction and slow burn ~ or slowish considering how things played out for them, but it all worked for me. Their initial collision may not have been all that cute, but as they spend more time together it’s obvious that there is a spark. I loved their flow, bantering and how open they were with each other. They have a few obstacles to overcome, but they do it together and I loved how everything worked out in the end.

This was a great start to a new series. As I said, the angst was on the low end, though there was some drama throughout to keep things interesting and for the most part had all things pertaining to Cybil and Tanner resolved ~ though there is one issue I would have liked to see dealt with, but understand why it wasn’t ~ and a bunch of characters I definitely want more of. I loved Mav and Jade, Janet and Dave were awesome and Margaret and Mason are ones I’m looking forward to hanging out with more. Blake…well, I wanted to Gibbs Smack him numerous times but am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until I see what makes the man tick!

This is just a pure pleasure read. Cybil and Tanner story gave me all the swoony flutterflies. I fell in love with their love. It just has all the classic small town love, made for eachother feels. Cybil... this poor woman has been through it. I mean I know I would not be so dignified in her position because not only did her fiance break her heart. He rubbed salt in the wound then stomped all over it on his way to happy town. Man when I tell you I was and still am positively fuming!!. For real. I was. However sweet Cybil took the punches and rolled with it and despite everything, still manages to maintain grace and dignity. She is a true sweet heart, an all round loveable character who's easy to relate to. Tanner oh this man is top book boyfriend material. Not only did he know exactly what he wanted and went after it. He secured the package and did not let it go, not even for a minute. He was loyal, protective and so freaking sweet I can't even. I swear the man had my ovaries singing. I loved their relationship period. The build up is so sweet and has that genuine feel to it which made it so easy to imagine their story in my mind. The instant chemistry. The sweet blossoming connection. Everything was so natural it quite literally fell into place and what I love the most is the lack of drama. Man this could of been a dramatic turn of events but it wasn't and I appreciated that because it gave us more of them just finding their feet, getting to know one another and really building a solid foundation for their forever. Their journey isn't a long one and yes they move faster that most but it didn't feel rushed or forced because they just made sense together and everything happened so organically. I really enjoyed the side characters in this journey too and I'm very interested to see what's in the future for them. Especially grumpy Blake and the new lady in his life. So to wrap it up, I loved this.

I love some ARR and this one is right up your alley if you love her words. It is not quite like her Until series but still packs a punch with some insta love and raw emotions that bleed on the pages. The connection of the characters to how the story flows, I read it in one sitting and could not get enough. I love ARR for a breather read because she writes so beautifully that I feel like I am living the world she creates!

Rushed was a pleasant read. It was fast paced and easy with a little angst thrown in. Cybil went on a solo retreat and really bonded with most of the people there especially the guide Tanner. Tanner and Cybil's relationship was sweet. They instantly clicked and it was nice to see their relationship progressed the more time they spent together. It was evident how much Tanner felt for Cybil. They were such a cute couple. Yes it might have been quick but it was still a delight. I am interested in some of the characters in the story so I can't wait to read more in this series. Overall, a nice story with a great premise.

DNF: I, uh, forgot that I was reading this. It's never a good sign when you're almost halfway through a book and you forget about its existence. So, needless to say, it wasn't a total win for me. The story is very instalove, with a sweet, inexperienced heroine and a hero who falls for her quickly. This reads very much like the typical story from Reynolds (with a toned down hero), and I can picture how things are going to play out. Unfortunately, the laidback, instalove feel didn't work for me with this one, and it's a forgettable read. Intriguing as a series starter though.

A great Contemporary Romance, that I would definitely recommend trying!

I received an e-ARC from the publisher.

So this is the first book I have read by this author, although I have many of hers on my TBR list. With that being said, this story was a decent read. Cybil and Tanner are decent characters with an almost too sweet romance. Cybil has just gotten dumped by her fiance' and decides to still take the couples retreat in Montana without him. She meet's Tanner over the weekend and has this instant attraction to him. They end up spending most of the retreat together. The drama/conflict was a little too anti-climatic for me. It just seemed like it was something tossed in to try to make it so this story wasn't so sweet and inst-love. I, honestly, felt like it was completely unnecessary to add.

So, like I said, it was a decent read but it definitely wasn't a book that I would label that I loved. It was almost too sweet and it felt like someone was writing it and their head they were checking off things that needed to be added to make it a great story. I didn't love it, but I also didn't hate it. It was just ok for me.

Just a perfect overall read. Sweet romance. Lovely setting. A hero who hangs in there even though the lady doth protest too much. Loved Tanner to pieces He supported Cybil and built up her confidence throughout the story.

Great secondary characters. I am looking forward to seeing Mav and Blake find their HEA as well. Maybe Mason too??? We can only hope.

𝗥𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 is the first book I’ve read by Aurora Rose Reynolds but it won’t be the last!⁣

Tanner and Cybil completely stole my heart! I’ll admit that in the beginning of the book I was skeptical because of how instant their connection was. I thought it was a little too fast for me. As the story went on, they wrapped themselves around my heart and started to remind me of when my husband and I first started dating (minus the outdoor adventure because if you know me, you know that’s not going to happen 😂). ⁣

They had some challenges (from what seemed like all sides) but they faced them together instead of having the normal miscommunication, which I LOVED! ⁣

There were a few secondary characters involved and I loved them all! So much so that I’m not sure who I want to see as one of the love interests in the next book…which I WILL be reading! ⁣

Overall, a quick, small-town romance with a great story and an epilogue that had me tearing up. This one is out now and on KU! Give it a try!!⁣

Did I mention there’s one tent? 😉

Cybil’s fiancé broke up with her, and now she was stuck going on a couple’s retreat in Montana all by herself. But she is determined and also living in a small town maybe its good she gets away for a while. So when she meets Tanner, the part owner of the retreat she is kind of amazed at her attraction to him. But spending time together and getting to know each other they cant seem to hide their attraction to each other.

Between living in the wild, illegal hunters, partner issues, Tanner and Cybil have a few things to sort. But what I loved is that Tanner didn’t give Cybil the chance to push him away. The story went fairly quick for this couple, but you don’t miss the romance, the attraction and the sweet, alpha’ness story we love from this author. If you fan of this author’s stories then you won’t be disappointed 😊I cant wait to read the next one which is a single mom story (which I love) 😊

I love an easy going romance with a bit of smut which I just felt like this book would be from the cover. I’ve never read anything by Aurora Rose Reynolds but the cover reminded me of the Melissa Foster books I’ve read in the last year.

Rushed tells the story of Cybil who has terrible luck, first her fiancé breaks up with her days before their wedding, then she can’t get her money back for a couples retreat in Montana she never really wanted to go on in the first place. Not wanting to waste her money, she arranges to fly solo at the retreat, not realising that it’s a group event and wasn’t just her name she’d fiancé. Luckily Tanner the group leader offers to step up and be her partner through the activities. However, that just leads to Cybil having to defend herself to others who feel that she is getting treated unfairly, and also suppress her growing attraction to him. However, sharing a tent each night makes it difficult to ignore their chemistry.

Totally, totally predictable. Totally, totally perfectly lovely. It’s emotional, easy going and a guaranteed happy ending. Don’t get me wrong there is some drama; for example being shot and a family hospital admission, but I was so comforted that it wouldn’t end badly. If you want some chemistry filled romance to make you want to put up a tent and get lost in the wilderness, this is your book! I will be looking out for the next instalment in the series for sure!

„I’d give everything up for you and never regret it.”

Leave it to Aurora Rose Reynolds to sweep you off your feet, just like her heroes do it with their heroines! I just adore her writing, her swoony and steamy storylines and the alpha-ness her books always bring. Rushed is another amazing read from this author, and a perfect beginning to the new series I can’t wait to devour!

Cybil and Tanner’s story is full of this heart-fluttering emotions and hotness that filled my heart and mind. Their romance, albeit low on the angst level, kept me in a little suspense, and brought as much entertainment as it delivered a great amount of passion. This couple is everything you can expect from Aurora- they bring so many feelings and so much heat to this sweet love story that you read it with the constant heart-eyes. Both lead characters are wonderfully developed, just as the cast of the secondary ones. And speaking of supporting characters, I really cannot wait to read Maverick and Blake’s stories!

Rushed is a beautiful journey that started Adventures in Love and I’m super excited to continue this experience. Aurora’s prose is chef’s kiss and, as always, she did a magnificent job with delivering another swoon-worthy and unputdownable story that’s full of passion.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. This book is well written and pulls readers in from the beginning with some surprises along the way. I loved every character in this book. I can’t wait to see where this series goes. Cybil, after a break up with her fiancé, is forced to go on a couple’s retreat in Montana alone. This trip is definitely not her thing. Because it is a couple’s retreat, Cybil is paired with the assigned guide, Tanner.

Tanner is former military will no real family for support. His military family has embraced him and provided him is much needed support. Tanner, Blake and Maverick are partners in Live Life Adventures. The moment Tanner met Cybil, he knew she was special. He knew a week with her would change his life.

This couple come together so beautifully. They definitely have some obstacles to overcome but at the end of the day they have each other. Both knew and it was imperfect timing of being in the right place. I absolutely loved this couple. Aurora created another beautiful world that I cannot wait to immerse myself in.

Ever since the Until him/hers series, I’ve been a great fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds. Usually the chemistry is of the charts and the pheromones of the alpha males are dripping from the pages. So Tanner definitely was a surprise. He was a more considerate and charming guy than most of Aurora’s other men.

I still would like to take him home, but what can I say: I’m a sucker for arrogant alpha males. Cybill is a wonderful woman, who has been dumped by her fiancee a few months before their wedding. Since she wasn’t able to cancel their couples camping adventure, she decides to go through with that holiday as a single. While being paired with Tanner, who is one of the adventure guides, Cybill realizes that there certainly was a lack of chemistry between her and her ex, Gavin.

She and Tanner could set their tent on fire, from the sparks between them. However, both Cybill and Tanner try to keep their distance: Tanner doesn’t want to endanger his company by fooling around with a customer. And Cy bit tries to guard her heart from another broken romance.

But as they spend more time together, can they fight their mutual attraction? Or will they pursue their feelings? A wonderful cute story, less alpha but no less awesome. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

3.75-4 stars. This was a good book! Rushed is the first book in the Adventures in Love series and is Cybil and Tanner's book. Cybil's life is turned on-end when her fiance calls off her wedding right before it was to happen and she is left embarrassed and confused with no answers as to why. She decides to go ahead, all by herself, and go on the couple's adventure retreat that she had planned to go on with her ex. There she meets Tanner, the adventure guide who leads their group hiking and camping. The two feel an instant connection and after spending a lot of time together, Cybil can see that her feelings for Tanner are far beyond what she felt for her ex. She discovers who she really is on the trip and what true love is.

I very much enjoyed this story. I liked Tanner and Cybil a lot. There was lots of couple time on-page, which I love. They had good chemistry and a sexy, sweet, solid relationship with no big blow up or fights. Rushed was an easy, entertaining read. I can see lots of potential for more books in the series and I really look forward to them. Overall, Rushed was a good read! I enjoyed it and was happy that Tanner and Cybil got their HEA. I look forward to whatever Ms. Reynolds comes up with next!

Cybil's life has been turned upside down when her fiancé abruptly ends their engagement. After already paying for a couples adventure retreat she decides to go alone and immediately has a not so friendly run-in with one of the owners. When Tanner pairs himself up with feisty and newly single Cybil, he hopes that during the week together he can wipe out their disastrous first meeting and start fresh. During their week together Cybil pushes herself outside of her comfort zone while trying to not think about how gorgeous and sweet Tanner is. Eventually they can't deny their feelings but what will happen when the week is up?

As a huge ARR fan I'm so excited for this new series! Tanner and Cybil are perfect together. I can't wait to see who's book will be next!

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake for the opportunity to read this book.

This was a really fun story with adventure, romance and love or lust at first sight. This is the story of Cybil and Tanner who meet when she goes on an outdoor adventure with a bunch of couples and leader Tanner in the wilds of Montana.

Cybil lives in Oregon and she is NOT an outdoor person. She signed up for a couples retreat when her ex thought it would be fun. Now he is her ex so she decidees to go by herself. With no partner she partners with Tanner, the group leader.

These two fall HARD but living in different cities how can that work? Well you will have to read this book to find out. It was a really awesome story and I adored Tanner, Blake and Maverick. I can't wait to read more books in this series.

I received a free ARC copy of this book from NETGALLERY prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Cybil has only been with one man in her life and that was her fiancé until he abruptly ended their engagement with no explanation why. Needing to get away she heads to Montana to attend the couples adventure retreat that they had planned to go with each other alone. She knew that this trip would take her out of comfort zone but nothing could have prepared her for Tanner.

Tanner and his two best friends have transitioned from their career in the Marines to owning an adventure retreat business. The one rule they have all agreed to abide by is not to get personally involved with their clients but when he meets Cybil he knows that she is worth breaking the rules for.

Although the time and circumstances aren’t ideal the chemistry and connection between them is undeniable. Tanner is so supportive when she needs someone the most and they fit in each other’s families like they have always been there. They do have an obstacle to overcome but both know they are meant to be together and aren’t about to let anything come between them.

A new book from Aurora Rose Reynolds? Heck yeah!!!!
Before I began my reading journey I knew that Rushed would be perfect. And....I was right ( FYI I'm always right).
Every single word in this book leads us to destiny and love. No matter what difficulties you have, if you have a bit of faith and an open heart everything is possible.....even finding your other half in the wildness while hunters shooting at you and bears looking at you like you're the honey.
That's the magic of a book. It travels you, it soothes your soul and fills your belly with butterflies and Rushed by Mrs Reynolds has it all. ❤❤❤
