A cute camping love story, that evolves into an forever love. Some of these characters I loved in the beginning, then hated and then loved again. The author did a great job with the characters and the plot was very good. I don’t know what was missing from this book, but it was something important so I can’t give it five stars. But it is a very good enemies to lovers romance novel. Can’t wait to read more by the author

Cybil is determined to attend the Live Life Adventure couples retreat that was planned with her fiancé before he said “it’s not you, it’s me”. When she arrives in town and meets Tanner, she is not impressed. When she arrives at the lodge, it is to find that Tanner will be their guide and since she is no longer a “couple”, she is paired with him. The entire experience for Cybil is amazing, scary, fun, but not without its pitfalls since she had never been camping. Tanner is amazed at how quickly he feels comfortable with Cybil. Although he has never gotten involved with one of the campers, she makes him think of a future that he never thought possible. As she spends time with him, she realizes that her fiancé never made her feel this way…their relationship was never this easy. She lives in Oregon and his retreat is in Montana, have they rushed into love too fast? The characters were amazing; Cybil although shy was quick with a snappy retort and Tanner was protective and believed in her. I really look forward to the next book by this author. Rushed by Aurora Rose Reynolds is the first installment in the Adventures in love series. The series is about three friends who establish a wilderness adventure service. This is Cybil and Tanner’s story.

Cybil books a couples retreat for her future husband, but then it doesn’t even get to the wedding and she goes on the trip herself. She goes on her own adventure and follows her heart and I really appreciated that.

Tanner wants to build a life with his friends after they retired from the military and he is the adventure guide in their company. Tanner is stunning and definitely a new book boyfriend. One of their rules is to never ever have something with a client, but there are always exceptions to the rules.

This romance is just amazing and both characters weren’t looking for love and that is how the greatest stories start. The retreat is designed for couples who will inhabit a close space in the vast wilderness, learn to trust each other and get close and this really shows how compatible they are. Only one tent should totally be trope. Also every time he called her sunshine I swooned so much and they had a morning ritual of asking the other if they slept well and I loved that. With every page their love deepens and they have to find out what they would give for a relationship.

Overall, I’m just so in love with Cybil, Tanner and this story. If you like small town wilderness romances with forced proximity, this will be your new favorite. 5 stars.

This is the first book that I've read by Aurora Rose Reynolds, and I loved it! Cybil and Tanner were both great, the storyline was interesting & entertaining, and there was a bit of suspense. Rushed was the perfect start to the Adventures in Love series! I loved Live Life Adventures and can't wait until Blake, Mav and Mason get their stories told.

Sweet love story (with some steam) that brings new meaning to when you know...you know. Cybil hasn't been having the best of luck but going on the couples retreat alone when you were meant to be with your fiance (or ex-fiance) feels like the bottom of the barrel but she needs the time away from all the pitying looks and whispering in her home town. Little did she know that she'd not only find a hot guide in Tanner, she'd also find herself along the way. A few suspenseful moments also round out a good story for this first for me author (but not last).

This was the first time I’ve read anything by this author and it won’t be the last. I enjoyed every single bit of this story!

From page one of this book I was HOOKED. I couldn’t put it down and ended up reading it in one sitting.
Tanner is the perfect mixture of alpha male and sweet. Seriously, the man is perfect. It is impossible not to instantly fall in love with his character. He came from a rough background, but has spent his entire life working hard to make sure the future is better than his past. Cybil has had some bad luck in her life, but she is still going. I love that she isn’t afraid to go on an outdoor couples retreat alone, sure it was nonrefundable but she could have just taken the loss.
The moment Tanner and Cybil meet they don’t get off on the right foot, however, the second meeting there is a change. I love the instant connection between the two of them. Tanner became instantly protective over Cybil, but not in an overbearing way. There were so many sweet moments between them as the both go to know each other and they learned that they work pretty well together, too.
There is some drama in the book, however, I appreciated the fact that there wasn’t unnecessary drama that created a rift between Tanner and Cybil. I loved seeing them work through it all together versus apart and making themselves miserable in the process.
I am already DYING for book two in this series and can’t wait to go on another adventure!
If you’re looking for an insta love, small town, strangers to lovers, forced proximity story this is one to check out!

4 1/2 Stars for this sweet romance!

I loved Cybil and Tanner ... they are just so perfect for each other. I laughed so hard when they met ... you will too, just wait till you read it. I loved that they are so into each other right from the start ... well almost the start lol. Cybil is such a klutz and Tanner was there to rescue her every single time. The chemistry between them was undeniable and they sure had steam between the sheets. I found all the characters very likeable and the banter between them easy. This is a great start to a new series and I can't wait for the next book.

Cybil's fiancé broke up with her a couple of months ago and she couldn't get out of the couples retreat in Montana that she booked for them ... so she decided to go by herself. She did not expect to be out in the wilderness with a bunch of strangers ... oh yeah, and fall head-over-heels for their guide. Tanner and his two marine buddies (who are more like brothers) open up Live Life Adventures helping people to fend for themselves in the wilderness. They only had a few major rules and one of them was no fraternizing with the clients ... and he was about to break that rule and couldn't care less that he did. With Cybil living in Oregan and Tanner in Montana could this be anything more than a fling? If so, who was going to give up their home and move to be with the other?

Cybil went to a couples retreat that was meant for her and her now ex-fiance. There she meets Tanner, to who she instantly feels attraction to (and vice versa). They are stuck together since he is the group’s guide and all activities are meant for couples.

Being in close spaces during the night also means the attraction only grows from day to day. But they know relationships cannot happen not only because she is a client but also because they live in different states.

I would say that this book was very insta. Quick attraction, no major drama (and the one that was was quickly resolved). It’s just fast how she goes from one relationship (not to mention they were supposed to marry!) and just feels so attracted and willing to sleep with another man.

The writing was okay, I read the book quickly but it’s not a book I’d reread. I doubt I’ll remember what was it about six months from now. I think that the title says it all. This book was rushed in all aspects.

3.5 stars.

Best way to try a new author is with a new series. You see how they introduce the characters that’ll be the next books’ heroes; how they create a new world; and, of course, how they develop a story and its main characters. And that’s how I discovered this author.

I was perplexed by when we start in the story. Most of Cybil’s drama has already happened, so that means a huge dump of informations, right before she meets with the hero. That’s quick. That also means that we don’t get to see much of Tanner and Cybil before they get together. Frustrating when one of the best parts of a love story is to see how falling in love change the characters.

But, in the same vein, the story continues when most stories end. They get together, they decide to try having a relationship, even if it means a long distance one, and… we’re barely mid book. At that stage, they usually have professed their love for each other. But here, we see them learning about each other. Their individual journey as well as their journey together. Though there was barely any conflict, I enjoyed watching them falling in love.

Both characters were compelling–Cybil who’s discovering how to stand on her own two feet, and Tanner who’s re-examining his priorities. They’re surrounded with friends and families that don’t get much spotlight, but who serve their purpose.

Chosen families are a recurring pattern in the story. Cybil lost her parents and found a new family with her best friend’s parents, while Tanner ran from his to create another one in the army, with the soldiers who became his friends.

A bit too sweet and perfect, but totally enjoyable as it is.

This book had me hooked until the home stretch and then I lost it and kinda sorta stopped caring.

I loved the story idea for this book - a girl whose jilted by her fiance at the eleventh hour goes on a couple's retreat solo and finds, not only herself, but a strapping Montana wilderness expert and former military man? Yes please and then sign me up for that retreat. I was honestly even okay with the insta-love and insta-lust that formed between the two because that's a trope and I get it, even if it's not my favorite. It was a fun whirlwind romance and showed them transitioning between their little wilderness bubble into reality and I thought that was super cute and interesting.

What I didn't love was how neatly everything (like a major secondary plot) wrapped up and was thrown in with another trope (that I loathe) that sent the entire story out the window. It was disappointing and definitely unnecessary and just bummed me out so much I almost didn't finish. Ugh. And even then we didn't even get closure on a few other plot threads and so I'm still head scratching about a few things.

All in all, I loved the 3/4 of this book, and kinda wish the last 1/4 just didn't happen or had been completely different. I'm definitely going to read more in this series (the side characters were definitely fun and interesting), I just hope they don't all end this way.

My first time trying this authors work and I won't hesitate to read anything else by her. I really enjoyed this book. It was a bit insta loveish which I normally hate but it was done really well and wasn't too in your face. Also the chemistry between our couple was hot you could feel it simmering. I loved the whole idea of this book it really had me hooked from the off and I didn't want to put it down. Our main man Tanner is very alpha male without being a hot headed pig and he's got a really sweet caring side. Cybils life has been flipped on its head and I liked how she coped with it all. She had some spunk and was able to stick up for herself. Around Tanner although she had her walls up you can feel the chemistry between them. I liked that the conflicts weren't drawn out between them. They communicated and came to a solid solution without it all being blown out of proportion. This book has some great characters and some of the dialogue and situations gave me a real chuckle. This story had the perfect blend of humour romance and a bit of drama without being too ott. So pleased I gave this a go 😊

I really loved this book! I was hooked in the first few pages learning this was a broken scorned fiancé, left just before getting married after having been together nearly a decade! I was intrigued about the retreat in Montana...Why do I love books that take place in Montana??? I've never been, but feel like I need to go! Tanner the guide and Cybil the scorned woman, are paired together for their Montana adventure. It's pretty clear from the beginning these two would be like meat and potatoes, they just go together! Their chemistry was amazing, I loved Tanner's character so much and how he protected and respected Cybil. The story was very well written and kept me entertained the entire time! Great read!!

I love this author and this story does not disappoint. It’s very low angst and has a great ending. I love HEAs. I love how the H is willing to do anything to get the girl in the end. Highly recommended!

A series of events conspire to bring together Cybil and Tanner for a week of outdoor adventure. Although an attraction is quick to develop, there are some outside forces (poachers, other guests, and the elements) that change the dynamic a bit. This first part of the story was really fun to read. There was a bit of drama that never got quite resolved and it left me wondering. The second part, the romance developing part, was really hot, sexy and so much fun. They had a few challenges to overcome and I was not a fan of her family or his partners. There was a bit of selfishness on their part that was not attractive. But both Cyubil and Tanner are great characters and in the end they prevail to their HEA

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I liked the chemistry between the characters, and the characters themselves. The setting was lovely and the plot and side characters were good too.
I think it was just a bit too insta love for me. Maybe if there was a bit more tension and angst between Tanner and Cybil when they were camping it would have changed it for me.

Rushed is the story of Cybil, who goes on a couples retreat as a single because she's recently been dumped. On the retreat, she meets Tanner, one of the organisers of the retreat and their guide. He partners up with her and the two of them share an instant attraction and spark with each other.

I really enjoyed reading this book, and I found the characters to have great chemistry. I loved how caring Tanner is from the get-go and I liked that he doesn't respond in a typical fashion when Cybil tries to push him away. The story was engaging and kept me hooked all the way to the end.

I liked it, but I didn’t love it. If you frequent my reviews then you know that ARR is my top favorite romance author. I love her books and it guts me to rate this one three stars. I think it comes down to the fact I never really felt the spark or instant attraction between them. It was written there, but I didn’t feel it. The relationship between them was sweet and happened easily, which I do like. I can say that I wish there were more repercussions with her ex. He did her dirty and it seemed that everyone just let him off the hook so easily.

Overall, not my favorite from this author, but I am excited to read more in this series. Hopefully, I enjoy Risky a bit better.

This heartwarming story of love a discovery absolutely warmed my soul, it was everything I expected from this amazing author and more. She gave us a piece of her soul on paper as she usually does and gave us something that we can get lost in and have it devour all our feelings. You will feel these people soul deep and you will want more of them, and you like myself will be sitting on the edge of your seat for the next couple to get their happy.

Tanner knows what he wants and is willing to go to extremes to fufill it. Cybil is all about discovering her new self and has a heart of gold. These two make me want to belive in the happy ever after.

I would absolutely recommend this book and author to anyone who loves an epic love with a good storyline and alot of moments that you will just want to breathe in and fall in love with. I cant wait to get my little girly hands on more of this series. I honestly hope you love it as much as I have. Happy Reading ♡
