This should be required reading for every aspiring entrepreneur , seasoned entrepreneur and everyone that needs a nudge to be their best . It's well written, relatable, funny and a good read for everyone. Everyone should read this book. I highly recommend.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Good, motivational book. I enjoyed the prep exercises and hacks, things to practice, such as practicing being rejected in small ways. Thanks to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for allowing me to read and review.

Jump provided many tips and action steps toward your entrepreneurial dreams. I'm pretty seasoned in this space so a lot of it was already familiar to me but it was refreshing to read it all through another lens.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC

If you are looking to change career, start a new business, or rip up your ideas of what you thought your life should be, then this is the book for you.
The concept of the "stagnant" Jump, when you are stuck in life, was an eye-opener for me.
Chapter 5 focuses on how to define your own personal idea of success and is particularly powerful.
We all have the power to change our lives for the better and take control of our lives and out destinies.
This book shows you how to do it.

Jump is a great motivation to make the change in your life you've been thinking about. Kim Perell writes in a frank and conversational tone putting together a plan that leans into making it personal not perfect. A great read.

Great book, easy to read, and implementable strategies with a good balance of examples and facts. I enjoy reading leadership books and always find them inspiring. This is one I'll definitely recommend.

Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Ahh ... there's not much like a good leadership book. And this is definitely one of them.

I read Rebecca Minkoff's book _Fearless: The New Rules for Unlocking Creativity, Courage, and Success_ earlier this year (and loved it, spoiler alert)--Perell's book _Jump_ is in a similar vein, and well worth a read. She writes engagingly, humorously, and frankly about her own struggles and successes in life, parsing out a number of insightful lessons.

No, I am not an entrepreneur (and am finally okay with that, lol). And maybe you're not either. Can non-entrepreneurs learn from this? Absolutely.

The challenge for me at times was to pull back a little bit and let my faith (ultimately, God) guide where the author places the self. "Your truth" (and its related messaging) is always a bit of a troublesome phrase for me in this regard; not that I was surprised to have it show up here, at all--I fully expected it, haha. So, knowing that and being prepared to rework that framework is something for me, at least, to be aware of and ready for.

I particularly enjoyed each chapter's "jump prep" and "jump hacks"--basically a built-in study guide--as well as several questions in Chapters 5-6 that are particularly timely as we approach the start of a new year.

I received an eARC of the book from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

Jump by Kim Parell is a great inspirational and motivating book to push readers to want more for their careers and never settle. The author wants readers to understand how to make the jump to an unknown area and work hard for their dreams. I love the steps given and the clear explanations the reader received which made everything so applicable and doable. The target audience I feel is more for professionals that have some experience in their chosen field. However I feel the information can be helpful to professionals in many different field as the process is flexible and allows for variation in backgrounds.
