Um..... Is this Angela Marsons author of the brilliant Kim Stone crime series??? Because of its in fact the same author I am shocked!!!
I really enjoyed this story and the women. I loved them all. This was told so beautifully and if it is the crime writer bonus stars for writing something so bloody good that's outside her normal.
Great job.

Three women, the best of friends support each other through the good, the bad, the ugly and the funny times. All are in different places, but want their own happily ever after, though the way they go about it isn't terribly mature or rational. They aren't terribly likable and the men they pick...ugh. Not a decent one amongst them. There is much truth to the old saying “never wish for what you want for you just may get it”. It’s a light easy read. Not my favorite, but enjoyable.

This premise had so much promise. Although the reader can easily guess how this wishing spell is going to turn out, I was excited for the hijinx that were sure to come out of it. I was reminded in the beginning of Bridget Jones’s Diary, which I loved.

In practice, though, it didn’t quite do it for me. I didn’t really find any of the three women likable. All three of them were selfish and childish, choosing to just wish their problems away instead of having any kind of conversation with the other people in their lives. Deb wasn’t that bad, but the other two were completely awful. Sometimes I can enjoy an unlikeable character in a love-to-hate way, but this wasn't the case here.

On audio, it was hard to tell the three characters apart as the narrator didn’t do different voices for them. If I missed the name at the beginning of the chapter, it was hard to determine who was speaking. I continuously got the three women mixed up until later in the story.

Overall, if you’re looking for a quick, cheesy, escapist story, this one could be for you! If you don’t like books with unlikable characters, I’d probably skip it.

A story about wishing for things the women want most. Cher wants her boss to fall in love with her. Sarah wants a child with her partner that is married and Deborah wants a perfect wedding.
One day they are having a laugh and throwing some herbs around the garden and the next day all comes true. But is this what they really expect....

I was reading/ listening the book and I prefered listening to be honest. It is a nice perspective to think about what we really want and how we see the things. We have to be careful what we wish that is sure.

I started listening to this book yesterday afternoon once I was approved by the publisher. Well I have to admit to feeling a bit concerned about it purely because I am a fan of this authors detective series, So reading a totally different genre by her was it going to work ? Hell yes it sure did. This book was just so wonderful and such a refreshing change, I just adored it, The story was superb and the narrator was excellent.
