It is June 16, 2029 and California is ravaged by fires, droughts. political paralysis and civil unrest. Two individials that are opposed to Capital Punishment kidnap the Governor of California in order to gently torture him unto issuing a stay of execution for the individual that is scheduled for execution that night. The Governor unexpectedly dies and they hide him in the closet of the luxury penthouse of one of the individuals. This individual happens to be the husband of the Lieutenant Governor. She agrees to meet with the Attorney General in her penthouse that day as she is not aware that the governors body is in a closet in her home. in the meantime, the individual that is scheduled to be executed escapes. This is a very strange book of what the future may look like with zombies, woman without hair, sex animates and other items,

It was a good book and I liked reading it. It had a good storyline and characters. Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read this book.
