A strangers to lovers, forbidden office romance, billionaire, surprise pregnancy is full of tension, secrets, chemistry, and obstacles.

When Mycah and Achilles met it was agreed, one night is all either of them wanted. Flash forward two months and their reunion takes

Both have a past that has left them guarded, betrayed, and unable to fully trust. Can either of them open up and allow love to bloom?

Despite all their rules they never planned for a surprise that would change their lives forever. When Mycah's family insists on changing the narrative to suit their plans she will be forced to confront them. How will they react to the real news and not the town gossip?

Every time I read a Naima Simone book I get a plot that is enjoyable, easy to read and a character arc that is full bodied and balanced. With three brothers I'm sure there will be more adventures to read soon.

If you are looking for a fast paced read with lots of spicy heat check this out. Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Publishing for this advance reader copy for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

I want a one night stand like this because Naima Simone writes about an unforgettable night.

The synopsis implies that the pregnancy happens right away and it doesn't, which really works for me. Mycah and Achilles have great chemistry and similar trust issues. There is quite a bit of information exchanged in their silly question game at the bar and a breaking of the ice that leads to the groundwork for their future relationship.

I love Mycah and Achilles together. I do wish I had seen more of Mycah’s sister since she made such a point on multiple occasions to state that her sister would love Achilles and they would have a lot in common. Plus everything she was doing was so that her sister would succeed so I would think that there would be more contact between them. I was disappointed to not see more of a connection between the two on the pages.

Simone does write a great relationship for the brothers. I like the bonding and humor. Family can be a headache and a joy at times as Achilles is learning (chuckle).

Secrets of a One Night Stand is a quick and sexy romance that I didn’t want to be over.

I received a free copy of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.

I found this to be a quick read. Simone's writing style draws you in. I read this story in hours. I liked the author's writing style and will be looking for more of her titles.
I am hoping Harlequin Historicals publishes more novels with diverse characters. I really love to see them adding multicultural spice!!

I'm fairly new to Naima Simone's writing, having only read one other book by her so far, but I'm thoroughly enjoying her writing. The way she crafts and describes her characters no only gives you a full image of them in your mind, but it makes you feel emotionally for them as well. As a pair I really enjoyed Mycah and Achilles - both of them have their own struggles independently but also some struggles that they have to work through together. There are a fair number of tropes in this one but not to the point that I minded them. I don't always like those that use surprise baby situations, but I felt this one was both realistic and understandable. Overall I really enjoyed their story and liked the experience of their relationship.

Mycah and Achilles bring sexy back as they dance their way into your heart. Simone puts all her cards on the table when it comes to playing her hand at emotion. What begins as a spicy attraction becomes an experiment in romance. The climb is treacherous, but the view is beautiful.

First, I just love this cover. This would be one of those books I'd pick up because the cover caught my eye. Then, I get past the cover and find out it's a surprise pregnancy romance. Oh, wait! A surprise pregnant by the billionaire romance, and it starts with a one-night stand. Yeah, I'd say this one covers a variety of tropes, all of them delicious. The one-night stand then find out you're working together in some capacity isn't new by any means, so a lot depends on how it's executed. Naima Simone does that quite well along with giving us a couple that has an almost magnetic attraction between them. The story is fast-paced and engaging, it's a sexy romance with interesting characters, and it's easily read in an afternoon or even a before bed romance to send you off to sleep with a smile.

Everything a category romance should be.
Moana Simone hits all the right notes in this category romance that covers a few tropes.

I loved watching Achilles and Mycah fall head over heels for each other! Naima Simone has written a smoking hot romance full of tenderness, family drama, and hope. Achilles and Mycah have amazing chemistry and their stories are so relatable-even with the literal billions of dollars floating around. You are definitely going to want to add this incredible book to your romance collection.

Thank you to Netgalley and Harlequin for the opportunity to read and review this title. All opinions and mistakes are my own.

Mycah and Achilles are 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Simone has a way of pulling the reader in from the very beginning so that you forego everything else just so you can finish the book!!

Steamy office romance with a lot of heart!

Achilles is the Farrell brother who is vastly different than his cultured brothers. He's still adjusting to the bombshell dropped by their father's passing. The story starts with the nearly anonymous but unforgettable one-night-stand he has with Mycah just before his life is changed by his father's will, then jumps ahead several months to her accepting a job working at his family's company.

Wow - the chemistry these two had was off the charts hot! Achilles is every alpha book boyfriend dream come true, and Mycah is strong and sassy enough to more than hold her own with him. These two were absolutely on fire together and I loved every bit of it.

The best part of the book is how quickly their hearts took charge and elevated their relationship well beyond their physical attraction. They work so well together on every level, pure poetry in motion. The pregnancy itself wasn't a surprise, but how it affected all the parties involved - far more than just our main couple - was unexpected and brilliantly executed. Their HEA was joyously breathtaking.

I couldn't have loved this romance more. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Mycah and Achilles' story was truly delightful! Potent emotions and powerful desires combine into an enticing mixture that goes down sinfully easy. I liked Mycah and adored Achilles. Hot and emotionally wounded, he was 100% pure catnip to me. The sparks fly, the banter zings, the steam sizzles and your heart melts as this wonderful book hits you with epic feels and major swoon.

This is a Romance, and this is the second book in the Billionaires of Boston series. I have to say I really did not like the beginning of this book, but I loved the last half of this book. I could not really connect with the characters in this first part of this book, but the last half I had finally connected to the characters. The storyline was ok, but it was nothing that stand out. There was some steamy parts, and I think they where done good. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Desire) or author (Naima Simone) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

When socialite Mycah and bad-boy Achilles hook up after meeting at a bar, it's only supposed to be for one night. But when she's offered a job at his family's firm, she can't refuse. Her parents want her to make a play for his high-society brother, and Achilles has no interest in being the guy she's slumming with. Can she break down his walls and convince him that he's the man she wants?

Simone is an exceptional writer, her prose dazzling and vivid. Mycah and Achilles are strong and independent characters, unwilling to bend to the manipulations of others. Achilles' wounds are difficult to overcome, but Mycah is patient with him, seeing him for who he really is. It's a hot, emotional read.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary opinion.

Billionaire tropes are not my particular jam but this one works because MMC Achilles Farrell, dubbed the Feral Farrell by the Boston media, finds himself the recipient of an unexpected inheritance by way of his recently deceased father who ignored him his entire life. Born to a struggling single mother, he’s had to work for everything he’s got and finding himself 2 new brothers along with an entry into the who’s who of Boston society is enough to set him off kilter. Add in FMC Mycah, the ambitious, career-driven daughter of a wealthy, elite Boston family, and he finds himself struggling to balance his past fears with his present desires.

I really liked both MCs and I liked their backstories though I wish more details had been given about Mycah’s past, especially the betrayal she suffered at the hands of a coworker. But category romances are difficult due to the space constraints and Naima Simon is such a great storyteller, I was drawn into the drama within the pages. I think Mycah’s parents were horrible, almost ridiculously terrible, and it made sense how their toxic behavior would cause Mycah to pull away from people she found herself getting too close to.

However, beyond the romance, I really liked the bond forming between the 3 brothers, who are practically strangers to each other, forced to run their late father’s company together for an entire year. It’s definitely a very soapy premise but I’m a sucker for male friendships in romance and I loved the byplay between Achilles, Cain, and Kenan. All in all, a good, fast read with plenty of heat and two engaging characters who had me rooting for their HEA.

CW: toxic parental relationships, off page abuse of secondary character (by secondary character), arrest and imprisonment of MC, classism, unexpected pregnancy

This was a sweet and spicy quickie read. The hero Achilles is big grump ex convict who found himself a billionaire after his biological father kicked the bucket. The heroine is a career oriented woman with toxic parents who control her life. These two have an explosive one night stand and go their separate ways as strangers. Until Mycah is employed by Achilles's company. There's a lot mistrust on the hero's part, he has been burned by another woman into he past so he's all growly and emotionally constipated. She's not willing to risk her career by sleeping with one of the bosses. But they are horny for each other and eventually give in to their lust which results in surprise! A bebe!

I mostly enjoyed the book while I was reading it but then I'd put it down and completely forget about it. It's well written but nothing really stands out and ultimately I found it forgettable. There are multiple love scenes in moderate steam level. I liked that the social commentary was organically woven into the story and didn't feel heavy handed.

Overall, I'd recommend it for it's multicultural rep and for the grumpy hero.

I've been waiting for this story since I read book 1 almost a year ago!

Mycah Hill grew up among the Beacon Hill elite in Boston. Her parents are wealthy snobs, and live far beyond their means, and she foots the bill for most of it, to protect her younger sister, who is still in high school. She gets a job as a VP at Farrell International, and is unnerved to be working for her one night stand from 3 months earlier. But, she needs this job, and the money it provides, so she's going to suck it up and make it work. Even while pining for Achilles the entire time.

Achilles Farrell is a computer genius, who grew up in Seattle with a single mother, and grandmother, who are both gone now. He never met his father, or knew anything about him, until after his death. When he received a summons to attend the reading of Barron Farrell's will, in Boston, he was shocked. He was even more shocked to meet his 2 half brothers, Cain Farrell and Kenan Rhodes (this all happens in book 1). Afterward, he went out to drown his sorrows, and met Mycah. They had one night together but she's haunted him ever since. Now, he's agreed to stay in Boston for a year and help his brothers run the company, but he's still feeling pretty out of place. When Mycah shows up and gets a job at Farrell, he is shook and not sure how to handle being around her.

Mycah and Achilles had a connection like whoa from that first night they met. They fully indulged in it, expecting never to see each other again. But, once they're in the same office that connection still pulls at them, and it isn't really convenient for either of them. But, eventually they just couldn't fight it anymore, and it was so delicious seeing them give in! Then, an unexpected pregnancy changes things between them again, and they have to navigate even more emotional land mines.

Mycah's family was absolutely WRETCHED, and I felt so bad every time she was hurt by their horrible words or actions. They were almost caricatures of all the worst things you might think about wealthy people. I wish we had gotten a bit more insight into Mycah's relationship with her sister Angel. Angel was mentioned a lot but rarely seen, and I would've liked to see them together more. Achilles was afraid to let anyone in, including his brothers. He an Mycah both had past romantic relationships that scarred them badly and scared them off of ever trusting people again. So, they each had a lot of emotional work to do.

This author's words are always fantastic, and that was still the case here, but I almost wish this particular story wasn't a category, so she would've had a little more space to flesh out some of the sibling relationships, for both main characters. Other than that, I enjoyed this story immensely, and I really believed in Mycah and Achilles' connection. Also it was HOT, which is always appreciated! I'm excited to finally get into Kenan's head in his book, which is coming next!

Mycah Hill is shocked to discover the man she had a hot one-night stand with, the man she can't forget is her new boss. But she can't turn down the job she has also wanted: VIP of Operations. So, Mycah is determined to stay away from him. But that doesn't last and when she ends up pregnant, she finds herself having to make some tough decisions for her and her child.
What can I say! Naima Simone has done it again. Her writing style draws you in and keeps you swiping your kindle until you get to 100%. I read this story in hours. I am definitely a fan. She has a way with words. I loved both Achilles and Mycah. Both their backstories made me root for them individually but also as a couple.
And, my, weren't they hot. Naima Simone knows how to deliver the heat. So, when you read, be prepared - with a glass full of ice and water.
Although, more the melt-off-the-pages intimate scenes, I really enjoyed their love story. I was cheesing at the end.
More please. I can't wait to read Kenan's story. And now, I must see if Cain and Devon had a story.
Thank you #Harlequin #HarlequinDesire #Netgalley for this wonderful read.

This was my first book by Naima Simone, but it certainly won't be my last! There's so much to like here -- the pacing, the tension, the vivid prose, the warmth, and especially the protagonists. I felt like cheering when Mycah chose love and the future at the end of the book. I look forward to reading Cain's and Kenan's stories as well as more from Naima Simone, and I'll absolutely be suggesting more of her books for the library's collection!

Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!
