Manga is not something I've read before, but this was a fun introduction. The comic strips in this book follow the hilarious adventures of Captain Marvel's cat, Chewie, as she brings chaos to the characters of the Marvel universe.

The hilarious adventures of Captain Marvel's pet cat, Chewie. Chewie invades the lives of the Avengers, the X-Men, Deadpool, Daredevil, the Silver Surfer, several Spider-men, and more. There is very little to read, but some of the panels deserve a detailed look.

I never knew I needed this, but I am thrilled that there is a comic all about Captain Marvel's cat visiting everyone in the comic book universe. This is a treasure that every library needs.

Also, for any teen services looking to buy this, there IS a Deadpool feature, but it doesn't feature sexual content. It does feature a cat and dog knocking over weapons that lodge themselves into his body.

I found a lot to like in this book! A whole book focusing on the adventures of Captain Marvel's scene-stealing cat? Yes, please!

This book is wordless, which means the art has to carry everything, and largely, it does! From the popping, colored backgrounds against the black and white art, to each Marvel character being easily identifiable and very expressive, it kept my eyes focused on the panels. If you don't know who the Marvel characters are, there is a handy character glossary at the end of each section. This book is a nice treat for established fans, but also very newcomer-friendly!

I thoroughly enjoyed the concept of the book, and I believe the lack of 'speech' made it better.
When an author can create a story without needing to use words, you know that the creator's art is great.

First and foremost, I want to address the proof or ARC given. I understand, especially with Marvel properties, being careful. However, the large watermarks in the center of the page made it extremely difficult at time to read. Some panels had a lot going on and the watermarks made them slightly illegible.

That being said I found this to be stinking adorable! I love cats. I love Marvel. This was so cute! Chewie being up to no good was so sweet. It’s beautiful when I could see it and the mini stories were lovely.
