Stacy Green's Nikki Hunt series continues to hook readers from the very first page, Special Agent Nikki Hunt faces her toughest case yet as she investigates the murder of her childhood friend by the elusive serial killer known as Frost. The suspense is relentless as Nikki delves deeper into the mystery, uncovering shocking revelations along the way. Green's writing keeps you on the edge of your seat, craving more. While this book can be enjoyed as a standalone,

I highly recommend starting from the beginning to fully appreciate the characters and the escalating intensity of the series. The emotional stakes are high, and I found myself completely engrossed. Green once again delivers a fast-paced, heart-pounding, and gripping page-turner. I eagerly await the next installment, as this series has quickly become a personal favorite.

I wish I had read the previous books in the series but this fact did not impair my understanding of Lost Angels. It's an action-packed story, full of twists and turns and a roller-coaster of emotions. I loved it! Great plot and characters, I'll be looking for the previous and following books in this series!

I have read the previous two books in the series, but I have to admit that this book was definitely my favourite!

The plot is entertaining, engrossing and compulsive and I read it in one sitting, desperate to know what was coming next. The ending had me on the edge of my seat, with a killer I did not see coming!

Highly recommended!

Book three in the Nikki Hunt series. This time Nikki is called to the crime scene near a lake where the victim is found frozen. So, Frost, we all knew that. But what is surprising is that Nikki recognizes the victim:is is her childhood friend Annmarie. Why did Frost target her? Was it a personal message for Nikki?
I will say right from the start:most of this plot was unrealistic. Nikki should not even be investigating the case because of her relationship with the victim and because it's pretty obvious from the beginning that everything Frost does revolves around Nikki. Like,in a real world she would be suspended and investigated for proper measure. But this is fiction, so she gets to investigate. But also the plot itself wasn't very likely, it's just a bit soap opera ish. Now, that being said, I freaking loved this book! Couldn't put it done, did not care about how unrealistic it really is. The pacing, the suspense-it was so well done. At one point Frost leaves something very personal for Nikki to find and from that I just had to keep reading until the very end. Also, I like how the whole frost thing was resolved in book 3,that it wasn't dragged out for longer.
Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Lost Angels was an amazing book in the Nikki Hunt series although I'm not quite sure why this book was called so. Nothing in the title was close to suggest plot. Nonetheless the plot was twisted & gripping. Nikki comes face to face with the monster who's been hounding her & the cases get very personal. Frost is a serial killer who has tormented Nikki since many years. This book finally laid to rest some questions about Frost I may have had. This book made me feel very sorry for Nikki, for the people she lost , for the sadness in her life. I think as a character she's one of the strongest & smartest protagonist in a suspense series. She's not foolhardy & rushing in towards danger but takes the time to calculate her decisions. I like that level-headed ness about her & that's why I love thos series. The plot hit close to home for Nikki & it was interesting to see her navigate her way through the mess & heartbreak. In all, this is a brilliant book of an outstanding series!
Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture & Stacy Green for an arc!

I am reviewing this novel based on the fact that I did not know it was a series. But I will be going back to read 1 & 2. Yes, #3 was...IS... that good to make me backtrack and reread this one in order.
First of all, I love and am familiar with the location. DESOLATE, if there is a serial killer not only are his victims limited, finding him will be even harder. Then take in the fact that in most homicides the victim knows their attacker. THe author, Stacy Green, did this part exceedingly well. I do not do spoilers. All I can say is, I was very impressed and in this genre of thriller and suspense I thought I had read it all, I was wrong. I look forward to #4.

This is the third book in the series featuring Special Agent Nikki Hunt. I hadn’t read the previous two books but found that this book read well as a standalone. We realise early on in the book that Nikki is dealing again with the Frost Killer who featured in the previous two books. Nikki is called out when the body of a frozen young woman is found and she is shocked to find that it was an old childhood friend Annmarie. She also discovers that Annemarie has a red velvet ribbon tied in her hair which is the trademark of the serial killer who has eluded them for a long time. On investigating her friend’s death Nikki visits her apartment and is horrified to find that Annemarie has bee investigating the cases of the Frost Killer. The clues make Nikki believe that Frost is more than just a murderer. She questions why Annemarie was targeted and why did he leave a photo of Nikki’s mother in the flat and is she going to be his next target. Nikki realises that Frost could be familiar to her and so the tension grows. This is a gripping crime thriller that had me hooked from the first page. It’s a engrossing and compelling read and I look forward to book number four.
Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

There just isn't anything negative about this book or series. I love Nikki Hunt. She's smart, tough, tenacious and in my opinion of the the best protagonists out there. Once again Frost has struck and this time it's Nikki's best friend. I was captivated on page 1 and I kept reading until I was done. The book is dark, twisted and incredibly well written. I do recommend reading the first 2 books in the series, they will help you understand much better.

I really enjoyed this book and was so glad the author decided to wrap up the "Frost" case instead of dragging it out for longer. The story really tugs at your heartstrings and I felt as if I was experiencing every emotion along with Nikki. This author isn't afraid to kill off major characters so every time Nikki or one of the people she cares about were in danger I was almost unable to breathe. I'm really pleased to see that there are more Nikki Hunt books in the pipeline as I think her team works well together and look forward to reading more about them.

I love this series. Nikki and her team are so lovable and her and her daughter are just the cutest. I also love the romance element to break up the death and fear. Caitlin the journalist’s role also changes in this book which was fun to see how everyone adapted.

From the minute Nikki realised who the latest victim was the book became devastating. Nikki has already been through so much (recommend reading the books in order) and my heart just broke for her. As with most badass heroines she puts so much pressure on herself but you can feel her grief as well as her determination. My only gripe would be that although it is totally understandable why she wants to, it seems a bit unrealistic that once the personal element is identified that Nikki would stay in charge. However, that obviously adds to the suspense of the story

Lost Angels is a dark and twisty read packed full of tension and emotion and I just couldn’t put it down. I’m looking forward to more from this series.

Finally, we get to the good stuff, the serial killer who has been the focal point of Nikki’s career. The killer struck a little too close to home this time, murdering Nikki’s best friend, which forces Nikki to confront some ghosts from her past. The killer is making this personal and Nikki needs to stop him before she loses everything she holds dear.
I really liked this one since we got into the dark details of Nikki’s family’s past. This is a darker mystery than the rest since it impacts Nikki’s family directly. It was fast paced and edge of your seat. I’m hoping there’s more books coming in this series because I’d definitely be interested to read them. I’m curious to see where the author will go from here.

From the first installment, I knew this would be an awesome series and so far, it has been quite captivating.

FBI Agent Nikki is back. In previous books, we were introduced to Frost in passing. This is a serial killer who Nikki has been hunting for years. He is the unsub in this story.

The story begins with the murder of Nikki’s childhood friend. The posing of the body, killer’s calling card and other clues have Nikki convinced that Frost is near her and is seeking her attention. My curiosity was piqued right from the first chapter. Who is Frost? Why is this unsub fixated on Nikki? I couldn’t guess the answers to these questions.

This was an interesting, twisty case. I enjoyed following the investigation and loved how well Nikki’s team worked together. I love Nikki, Liam and Courtney and have always enjoyed the chemistry between the 3 Investigators. I also like how Caitlin, the once annoying journalist, is now sort of part of the team. This book has so many characters that I have grown to like. Rory and Lacey are my favorites outside the investigating team.

This was an emotional case in many ways and the stakes were higher for Nikki. Needless to say, the tension seeped through the chapters. Frost having eluded the investigators for years was not an easy unsub to catch. I was curious to see if and how Nikki would solve the case. This had me turning pages, captivated by the story up to the end. I can’t wait for the next installment.

Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for the chance to read Lost angels by Stacy Green (Nikki Hunt #3). Stacy was an unknown author to me when I picked up The girls in the snow which was the first book in this thriller series and I couldn't put it down! Lost angels is 3rd book in the series and it is still going strong! Special Agent Nikki Hunt is called to a scene where a young woman is frozen beside a lake. All the clues point towards the serial killer Nikki has been hunting; The Frost Killer. This time the Frost Killer has picked a childhood friend of Nikki's and she knows she needs to stop him at all costs. What she finds at Annmarie's home leaves her shaken: information of the previous murders...and a clue.
The Frost Killer has been featured in the previous books, and in Lost Angels the killer is front and center. Is the killer known to Nikki? This was a fantastic read, and I am looking forward to the next book in the series! If you haven't started this series I suggest beginning with the 1st book, The girls in the snow...you get a better feel for Nikki and a real ride on who the The Frost Killer is!

This book was a page turner from beginning to end. Things are not always what they seem. Things are not what they seem and will have you guessing until the end. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
