How have I missed this series! Shame on me! This is the third installment of the Nikki Hunt series and hopefully not the last.

This was a spellbinding, faced paced, edge of the seat read that had me up into the early hours I just couldn't put it down and raced to the end.

What a page turner! Looking forward to see what faces Nikki next

Wow - what a gripping read! Nikki Hunt is such a fantastic character and I loved the return to the hunt for the Frost killer. There were many jaw dropping moments in this story, and the fast pace kept me flying through to the end. This is a series that has become a favourite, & I can't wait to see what Stacy Green has in store for Nikki next.

For this review, I want to type READ THIS BOOK, READ THIS BOOK, READ THIS BOOK over and over and over again. It's simply one of the best I've read this year. Nikki Hunt, an FBI agent navigating a relationship, ex-husband, and entertaining daughter, is called on again when someone she know is found dead. And, all the leads take her closer and closer to family and home. I don't want to give anything away as this book is so dang good. Just read it! You'll be happily turning the pages much past bedtime as Nikki works through this case.

I love Nikki Hunt. She tries to be a great mum, but often victims and serial killers tear her away from her beloved daughter. Promises she is forced to break, break her little girl's as well as her own heart. Sometimes she finds a few hours where she can leave her hunt for the murder behind and spend some quality time with her child or does the culprit has other plans...?

Our main protagonist Nikki is an FBI agent. It's only natural that the focus is on finding justice for the victims. In this third book the goal is still to catch the bad guy, but the story is also filled with bucket loads of emotions.

How one little lie, told to protect someone, can trigger a person to turn into a serial killer in order to capture someone's attention. You think you know your family's history, but it seems you don't really know much at all. The truth can be hard to tell. Sometimes it's better to spill the beans though. It probably would have saved a some lives.

Lacey, Nikki's daughter' is a great character. She's a wonderful little girl, but very mature at the same time.

A great story that I enjoyed very much. Looking forward to the next book. 5 stars

Thank you

This is the third Nikki Hunt book by the author. Nikki and her FBI colleagues - partner Liam Wilson and forensic specialist Courtney Hart are called to the scene of a body at Boundary Waters near Stillwater, Minnesota. The body looks like it could have been the work the killer known as Frost who Nikki has been chasing for 5 years. But then again, there are some differences. The big shock though for Nikki is that she recognises the victim, Annmarie Mason was her childhood best friend!

Technically Nikki shouldn’t even be working this case as she knows the victim but - fiction! The more the team looks into this murder, the more dread Nikki feels. Annmarie’s office looks like a police incident room. It looks like she, too, has been following the Frost case. Was she onto something? Is that why she was killed? Then, the sister of the first victim (from 5 years ago) disappears and now Nikki is convinced this the work of Frost and they work desperately to find the missing girl before it is too late. Then Nikki finds a photo from her own mother’s funeral on her second visit to Annmarie’s apartment, one that wasn’t there before, she knows this case is much closer to home than she had thought and the cracks in her armour are starting to show.

Nikki really struggles as everything brings back thoughts of when her parents were murdered 20 years ago. And now she wonders if she knows Frost somehow. There is also a brewing tragedy involving her family which I won’t describe. Suffice it to say, this book is full on, suspenseful and pretty sad. I hope we see Nikki again in another thriller with her wonderful FBI team and I hope her personal life settles down at last. Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for my free ARC which I reviewed voluntarily and honestly.

I love this serial and have been kept on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who frost is from the start.
Nikki is drawn in to the search again when her old school friend is murdered and posed exactly the same as Frost’s previous victims!
This did have a bit of a slow start but it soon sped up - with the net closing in on Frost and Nikki’s team hot on his tail.
Can’t wait for the next one

An excellent end to the case of the serial killer 'Frost'. We've all been following the case through the two previous books in the Nikki Hunt series, and this one was a very addition to it. It brought several loose ends together and wove a picture that was amazing. An absolute page turner.

When another body is found in frozen conditions, FBI Agent Nikki Hunt is called to the scene, when she sees the body, she is in shock, it is a friend of hers, Annmarie Mason. Frost is the murderer and this time Nikki will stop at nothing to catch him, now it is personal!
Wow! Lost Angels had me on the edge of my seat throughout, Frost was within reaching distance, maybe wanting to get caught this time with dropping hints along the way. I couldn’t get enough of this book, seriously!
I think this is the best of the series so far, it was gripping and kept me up all night so I could finish it.
I am interested in how the series will progress now with what happened at the end of the book, I can’t wait to find out.

Nikki Hunt is an FBI agent and mother, and those two parts of her identity conflict and merge in this new book. She and her team have been chasing a serial murderer, Frost, who kills women and leaves them frozen in a position similar to a body in a casket with a red ribbon around their necks. When Nikki is called the north woods where a body has been found that might be a Frost victim, she is surprised to find that the victim is her best friend from high school. Struggling with her grief and guilt for shutting the friend out of her life, after the murder of her parents, Nikki senses that they are getting closer to their perpetrator. Discovering that the sister of Frost's first victim is missing, the search heats up. Meanwhile, there are family secrets that Nikki must face in order to solve the case. It's an exciting and tragic story that makes me want to see what happens next for Nikki.

The serial killer Frost is finally revealed in this book and with a good backstory. The death of Nikki’s friend is unexplained. The author wants to create sympathy for Nikki by making her loose her near and dear in a tragic way. Hope it stops with her ex. In some parts this book is better than the previous ones. I would recommend this series to be read in order.

Simply Amazing. Not so much as a roller coaster, but and entire ride steady all the way.
I got to one part of the book and thought this is a bit early, and realised I was already half way through.
Niki Hunt faces a lot in this story. A ride I’m sure she would love to rewind and start again.
A must read and highly recommended.
Loved it and am waiting for more from this great author.

Lost Angels is the third in the fabulous Nikki Hunt series which from the get go grabs you and never lets up till the last page is read.

When a body is discovered in the Boundary Waters area Nikki and the team are called to the scene and Nikki is shocked to discover that the victim is known to her, they were high school best friends. Similarities in her murder lead the team to believe it could be the work of the notorious killer Frost who they have been searching for over the past years.

Full of action and with a twist I didn’t see coming this is another super 5 star read for me and one I would highly recommend as I do the whole series so far.
Can’t wait to meet up with the team again in the future.

Many thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for an ARC for my honest review.

HOLY SMOKES 💥

Special Agent Nikki Hunt always goes the extra mile for the murder victims she represents but when her childhood best friend's body is found she isn't sure what she achieves will ever be enough. Having kept her distance since her parents' deaths Nikki knows any chance to reconnect has been snatched away.

Trying the best she can to hold it all together Nikki is stunned to discover a crime wall dedicated to recently murdered young women in her friend's apartment; it seems both of them had been investigating the same thing at the same time! Her friend however was a computer security expert not a cop and now she's dead too, did she see it coming and know her killer and does that mean Nikki knows him too? The clues all point to the individual known as Frost, who she's been searching for for years and now it seems he's setting his sights on all Nikki holds dear.

The first two books in the Nikki Hunt series have reached their conclusion and it's absolutely brilliant. Slowly gathering speed over the first half prepare yourself for not being able to put the book down after that! Stacy Green has added so much to the main protagonists in this book giving them an extra depth and compassion which is a pleasure to read. The fact the killer could be familiar to Nikki gives everyone in her life added edge as the reader tries to discover if they are in danger or maybe not who they seem?

This is an excellent third installment of the Nikki Hunt series which ties up a lot of loose ends. Thankfully there will be a fourth and one has to wonder what will happen next especially with the hints given by the author at the end of this book!

I was able to read an advanced copy of this thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the opinions expressed are my own. This is an excellent end to the Frost investigation which is an exciting, fast moving, and highly recommended read with a promise of more to come.

There is just something special happening every time I open a Nikki Hunt book. It is like time stands still, and I am in a magical place, and nothing can or will stop me from finishing the book. This time it is even better than ever, because we're about to get more answers. A man named Frost has been killing women, and now he has killed Nikki's good friend from back in the days. Nikki realizes that Frost is more than just a murderer. He murders to get her attention. Why and how can she stop it? Who is he, and why is Nikki his target?

The tension is growing, and Nikki is getting closer to Frost, but is that on purpose? So many questions to be answered, but Nikki seems to be running out of time. Frost starts to hit too close to home. It is getting creepier and creepier, but also more dangerous than ever.

I really like Nikki. She has had such a hard life, but working hard for the police she is coping. Sadly, hardships in her life are not over, and old wounds are wide open again. I love the way the small town opens up bit by bit to the reader, and how rich the character stories are. It feels like there is so much happening, so many stories, secrets, and people, but it all adds up, it's relatable and believable, and above all extremely entertaining. A fabulously entertaining story, fabulously written, and the greatest characters a reader can ask for. Mindblowingly good. I could not put it down, had to read it in one sitting. This is a series you have to read, otherwise you're missing out on too much. Loved the twists and turns in this book that nearly took my breath away!
