I could not get into this one for the life of me. I tried several times hoping that I could. It was just the tone and pace of the writing that got me.

This was a great book about starting from scratch and simplifying the foods that we eat to get ourselves back on track.

Terrific book to help you on the road to healthy meal planning. This isn’t a rule book it’s definitely a guide. The author gives you the tools to set up a long term healthy meal plan. There’s tons of app suggestions to help as well as bonus information on her website. I can’t wait to implement all I learned from this book.

This is not a cookbook but a helpful guide to setting yourself up for success in healthy meal planning. It provides the basic steps for setting up a healthy kitchen and a healthy way of life. There are links provided to great recipe sites, however.

This is a very impressive, helpful book. While there isn't anything I would consider new information (prioritize whole foods, stock your pantry, have a plan) it's explained clearly and thoroughly and broken down into manageable steps. There's a nice mix of "why" and "how" for a practical, unfussy approach to eating for wellness.

I appreciate that this book caters to realistic budgets, schedules, and levels of food access--you don't have to be rich or fancy to take advantage of this advice. If you have access to a Wal-Mart, you can do this!

I would heartily recommend this for new adults setting out on their own. It's a great, practical, actionable guide for how to feed yourself like a grown-up who wants to stay both physically and fiscally well.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!
