Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture- my favorite publisher to date! And author for this chance to read and review this gripping thriller!

The Vanishing Child.... I'm not even going to lie. I was a little scared to dive into this book!
I honestly have a fear about one of my kids being kidnapped so this was freaky to me!
But nonetheless it was so damn good!
This has so many emotions rolled into one! It was quite thrilling!

The story is about CeCe. Her son forty years ago went outside on his bike and never comes back home!
She waits every day waiting for her baby to return but he never does!
Then we go forward forty years to Carla as she is hosting her dad she comes across an old newspapers and her dads diaries hidden inside an old box. The story are about three boys disappearing when her father was a little boy!
He doesn't talk about the missing kids and his non communication only makes Carla that more suspicious and curious!
So she meets CeCe and wants to help her find what ever happened to her son.
As she starts to read the diary she discovers some disturbing dark things from.m any years ago!
Little does she know there are people in town who will do anything to stop her from.exposing the truth!

I quickly became engrossed in this. There's a tension without really knowing why along with an air of mystery
This is cleverly written to engage the reader.
This was such a crazy ride. I found it be very emotional, scary, tense...... Just so many emotions!
It was such an astonishing book! You won't be able to stop reading it once you've started!
A true page turner for sure! And Jennifer knocked it outta the field with this one!.
