Another very enjoyable book by T.R Regan. The story focuses on a missing five year old girl Tinsley. Her mum Dani is a private investigator and refuses to stop searching for her hoping that she is still alive. Dani runs a Private Investigator business looking for other missing people while she continues the journey of finding her daughter.

This is a rollercoaster ride that keeps you turning the pages, full of suspense. Great characters that help Dani along her way in her search for her daughter. There can not be a worse situation in life than losing your child and all the emotions that this would produce are well portrayed in the book.

I am not going to say anymore as you will need to read this to see how the story evolves and ends. Thank you to Netgalley , the author and publisher for providing me with a copy of this book. Five stars.

This was the best kind of thriller. Reminds me of a Jennifer Hillier book. This one hooked me from beginning to end. I loved all the disturbing part and events that happened. A true thriller. Thank you NetGalley for this advanced copy of this book. I will definitely be recommending to all my thriller friends.

Thanks to Thomas & Mercer, and also to NetGalley, for the ARC.

3.5 Stars rounded up.

This book tells the story of Dani Callahan, whose only child was abducted on her first day of kindergarten. Five years later, Dani is divorced and is a private detective helping other parents find their missing children ... yet never giving up her own search for her daughter, Tinsley. While working on a case of a missing teenager named Ali Cross, is it possible Dani has found important clues about Tinsley??

Count to Three has multiple points of view that never become confusing. I loved the tough kid, Ethan, who was all of 12 years old! I also loved Dani's assistant, Quinn. They were both spunky with a capital S!!

Dani had the unthinkable happen, her daughter was kidnapped. Every worst parents nightmare. That tragic event is how Dani became a private investigator. She was never going to stop looking for. Dani works on missing persons in her free time because she knows what it is like for the police to stop looking... Dani didn't go looking for this new case, it was brought to her by an eleven year old that saw the crime happen and no one believing in him. He was will to give up his life savings to hire Dani.
This book has you on your seat at every chapter wondering if Dani will find her in time... and along the way even having hope of finding her own daughter when no one else had any.
We need more Dani's out in the world because there are too many "cold" cases that have dust on them. Thank you Netgalley, Thomas & Mercer, and wonderful T.R. Ragan (who never disappoints) for this advance read.

This story really is not my cup of tea... The storyline, while intriguing, has left something to be desired. Something is "off" or missing early on. The pacing is slow and I cannot get with the writing style. I wanted to enjoy this story, but it's ending up being a DNF.

Dani Callahan's 5 year old daughter has been kidnapped from her kindergarten classroom without a trace...
Five years have now passed and Dani is still looking and has become a private investigator in order to help other families.
With the help of Quinn Sullivan a young girl looking for her mother who left her they work cases together, although Quinn is quick to jump into danger they are a good team.
As they still hunt for Dani's daughter they are currently working on a case involving a missing teenager who the police believe ran away the girls family don't think so.
They are also looking into what is going on with a woman who says someone is coming into her house while she is gone and moves things around.
In the case of the young missing girl there is a 12 year old witness who saw her being pushed into a van and can't forget the look on her face pleading for help. With his help they continue the search for young Ali Cross which takes them on dangerous journey. The end will leave your heart pounding as it flows so effortlessly throughout.
This book is so intense and fast paced, an absolutely a must read.

By far THE best thriller I’ve read in a long time! If there’s just one book you read this year - it’s this.

Be prepared to not be able to put this book down. Each page keeps the reader hooked, with unexpected twists along the way.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this novel. I can’t wait to read more of this author’s work.

It’s so good I finished in one day! Well worth your time. It’s your worst nightmare having your only child abducted from her first day of kindergarten. Five years later the Mom, Dani, is divorced and a private detective helping other parents find missing children while never giving up on her search for her daughter. A missing teen is the focus of their work, the police think she’s a run away, but there is a witness to her abduction. The police can’t verify his story so they don’t go any further in their search. Time is running, out, the girl held captive, Ali, may not last much longer. Such a well written book! You can’t put it down. Told by Ali, the kidnapped girl, the abductor, and Dani the private investigator, and her young assistance Quinn. Each person in the book has a story to tell, lives formed by loss and even abuse. You will like this book, I highly recommend it! Thank you for the eARC NetGalley, TR Ragan and publisher Thomas & Mercer this is my honest opinion. I loved this book!

I absolutely loved this book and I’m already planning on re reading just to catch all the details I missed my first read. The story was captivating since the prologue and only got more interesting the further you read. I loved how there were little subplots happening that seemed small but turned out to be huge. Even with the multiple pov changes, it was still easy to stay on track and was never too confusing. I felt like it was extremely well written and didn’t reveal too much until the author wanted you to figure out how the story ended. It was definitely different than any mystery book I've read and enjoyed every bit of it.

I really enjoyed Count to Three, although I have enjoyed all of the T.R. Ragan books I have read. Dani uses the tragedy of her daughter being kidnapped to fuel her new life as a private investigator. While investigating a missing teen, has she also found new evidence regarding her daughter?

It has the perfect mix of myserty, mystery, creepy creepier, heart and a little bit of humor! I hope there are more books in this series as I would like to see what happens next!

This was another hit from the author. A good thriller from beginning to end. There was a good mixture of mystery and suspense throughout the book. In addition, a few good twists towards the end. The only criticism I would have is that the ending was too fairytale. This is a book which I would recommend to all.

Dani Callahan is a PI. It’s not like she chose the profession, it’s more like the profession chose her. After the disappearance of her daughter, Tinsley, on the girl’s first day of kindergarten, Dani became determined to find, if not her own daughter, then the missing children of other grieving parents. Along with her assistant, Quinn, Dani is at work on a new case, a missing teen who disappeared while walking home. She’s not far into her search when information about Tinsley begins to emerge. Committed to finding the missing teen as well as her own daughter, Dani descends into q world darker than anything she could ever have imagined. This story is every parents worst nightmare, it’s a gut twisting roller coaster ride

Thank you NetGalley, Thomas & Mercer and Author for this advance ebook copy!
To be honest this is my first T.R. Ragan book! I've seen her all over my Kindle Store just haven't taken the plunge yet! Until Count to Three..... And WoW!

On her first day of kindergarten, five-year-old Tinsley disappeared without a trace…

There were so many elements of things that made it good. The narrative was set up expertly. The characters seemed so real and so vivid. The setting was great and the plot was great and everything was GREAT. It's suspenseful and dark and crazy and wonderful. It's a twist on a missing, abduction and disappearance and it mixes so well.
The story gripped me so hard and I did feel for the characters in the book. The dynamic is great. Suspenseful and Intense at times but also very entertaining. It caught me off guard many times!

I very much enjoyed the PI aspect of it all. Talk about eventful! I was intrigued,

Overall--
A great fast fast read! That will having scanning the pages till the very end!
Very much enjoyable!
