Count to Three by T.R. Ragan is a fast-paced twisty thriller that had me hooked from page one. I'm a big fan of T,R, Ragan and she definitely delivers with this book. I could not put it down. The characters were well-developed and likeable and the plot was interesting.

The story begins with the abduction of Tinsley Callahan on her first day of kindergarten. After Tinsley was taken, her parents' marriage fell apart and her mom Dani became a private investigator and she never stopped looking for Tinsley. Five years after Tinsley disappeared, a boy named Ethan witnesses the abduction of Alli Cross but the police don't believe him. He's a troubled kid but he wants to help and do the right thing so he reaches out to Dani's agency. Dani, her assistant Quinn, and Ethan work together to save Alli and find TInsley before it's too late.

This book is dooo good twist and turns and a shock ending..... I really didn't want this to end can't wait for more by this author!

Wow. I absolutely loved this book. It was dark and disturbing and kept my attention from beginning to end. The writer switched between characters and sub plots seamlessly and without confusion. There were no loose threads at the end and everything made sense and came together nicely. Highly recommend!

I love T.R. Ragan. I was super excited to see this new book and have the opportunity to read it as an eARC. Loved everything about it .... until the end. Not sure if the author is planning on it being a new series or not. It could definitley continue on .... if that's the case, then I wish we were left with a cliff hanger. The ending was very rushed.

I still really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

T.R. Ragan does it again! Once I started this book I found it hard to put down. It had me aching to know more of what happened to Tinsley and savoring each chapter until the end.

Ragan manages to weave several missing persons cases into one narrative that blends in with the next. The development of one case that opens up the gateway for another person to be found.

I wasn’t so sure about the character development of the antagonist, Carlin, at first. But as the story went on she peels away the layers of an abused child turned sociopath. His relationship with Mother giving off major Alfred Hitchcock vibes.

This is a must read for any fan of T.R. Ragan.

Dani Callahan’s past drove her to become a Private Investigator since the first day of kindergarten when her daughter Tinsley disappeared. The past five years being a Private Investigator led her to meet Quinn Sullivan, a determined, young assistant whose past is also of sorrow. With Dani and Quinn’s relationship, they are keen on finding missing persons and Dani’s obsession with solving her daughter’s disappearance is never-ending.

Their new case is that of a young teenager Ali Cross, who went missing while walking home. A young, delinquent boy Ethan happens to witness this scene and becomes entangled in the case. The three of them search for Ali but while on their search Dani obtains new information that could pinpoint her to her daughter’s location.

The protagonist, Dani Callahan, is a grieving mother who decided to pursue her daughter’s case. Before becoming a Private Investigator, she loved her role as a mother and wanted to be present in all aspects of her daughter’s life. After the incident, she became adamant about searching for Tinsley, but this put a strain on her marriage which led to her divorce. Her main goal is solving Tinsley’s abduction and, in the process, help others find their missing loved ones and provide closure and comfort.

Quinn Sullivan is Dani’s assistant; she blames herself for her mother’s sudden leave and has ever since has become cold and distant towards anyone who tries to get close to her. Dani sees Quinn as a capable, young assistant but also as a daughter, Quinn fills the void in her heart, but Quinn thinks of Dani as a friend. They understand each other because of the common pain they share in the loss of someone dear to them.

Count to Three by T.R Ragan reminded me of a similar novel I read a while back, The Necklace by Matt Witten. I enjoyed the plot, there were various issues and characters in the novel. The focus was not only on the protagonist which made the story all the bit interesting. It was refreshing to read the various point of view from the main characters. I loved the flow of the novel; it was a good read.

There was nothing I disliked in the novel, as it reminded me of reality, and the world we live in. You wake up one day to carry out your business and you are not guaranteed to see the next day. With the torture and trauma Ali faced, I was emotionally scared, I understood why she tried so hard to get away, but her capturer was always one step ahead of her.

My favourite character is the teenage boy Ethan because he comes across to everyone as a delinquent, but he knows what he saw and is adamant that he is not a liar. He works alongside Dani and Quinn, although his relationship with Quinn began on a rocky start, he begins to appreciate both their presence in his life. This is observed when he visits after they solved Ali’s case.

I rate T.R Ragan’s novel 5 out of 5 stars; it was a fast read and the story was captivating, and the suspense was exciting. This was a wonderful thriller, and I would recommend it to mystery/thriller lovers.

I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery of a little girl who goes missing on her first day of kindergarten. Five years later, mother Dani is a private investigator who is still convinced her daughter is alive. When another girl goes missing and a troubled 12-year-old boy comes forward claiming he saw her taken, Dani and assistant Quinn re-double their efforts thinking maybe the two cases are related. Fast-paced and gripping, the novel changes perspectives as we see the second girl, Ali and her captor who is truly creepy. If you're up for a good thriller, this is the book for you!

I absolutely love all of this authors books! They are fills of twists and turns!

This book did not stop with the twists and had me turning the pages quickly.
Dani’s daughter was kidnapped five years ago but she hasn’t given up hope that she’ll find her. She’s become a private investigator herself, now working with Quinn who is looking for her own mother and now they both receive a case for a new missing girl Ali, who people say is a runaway but really isn’t. The multiple cases really move this story along and keep it intense.
Definitely a must read!!

This was my first T.R. Ragan book and I really enjoyed it. Even though there are many really disturbing aspects to this story, the writing is excellent and it was a very fast read and a page-turner. Dani Callahan’s daughter Tinsley was kidnapped on her first day of kindergarten. It’s five years later and she still hasn’t been found. Dani has dedicated her life to finding Tinsley. She became a private investigator and now is trying to solve another kidnapping case while also working on other cases. There were a bunch of times that the story became really hard to read because it was so violent and upsetting, but overall I definitely recommend reading this book. I have read all of T. R. Reagan's mysteries and thrillers, so I was hungry to get a hold of her newest novel. She never disappoints! She creates the most deliciously evil characters that stay with you long after you've finished the book. Definitely five stars and I'm already craving the next book!

Amazing read which i really enjoyed, the author has a way of keeping you engaged and wanting to turn the page, i really love this type of writing and the author really shone with it. The storyline was captivating, i really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend to book readers, friends and/or family.

Can Ali be found in time?
I really cant recommend this book enough it was brilliant well written and fast paced.
I'd love to read more about Dani and Quinn in future books maybe????

There are not enough exclamation marks in the world to emphasize my love of this book. I love this author and this book did not disappoint. The characters are so well written they feel like family. The story took off like lightning and didn’t slow down for a moment. Twisty and turny and heart wrenching at times. I love the unique character traits and the dynamics at play in this book. As a mother myself this book plays on my deepest darkest fears. I couldn’t put this one down and it was read in one sitting. I would give this one bonus stars if I could.

Dani becomes a PI after her daughter is abducted. Never willing to let it go she still searches for clues while helping others find their missing children. Yes another unputdownable book by TR Ragan! This totally riveting story had be glued to my ereader. Highly recommendEd for mystery lovers!

There were numerous times in this book where I was so disturbed by the subject matter that I wanted to stop reading. But it is so well-written and kept my curiosity to the point where I couldn’t stop reading.

There were numerous unrelated plots in this story, with the Ali Cross and Tinsley Callahan plots making up the majority of the book. Ms.Ragan did a masterful job weaving in all of the other sub-plots.

Very interesting story.

This stand alone thriller was a page turner with an eclectic cast of characters. I literally read this in just hours as the story gripped me from page one and I just couldn't put it down.

Ragan does it again - page turning suspense that will keep you up into the wee hours! A rollercoaster ride of multiple sub-plots and rich characters, you will feel the anxiety and joy right along with them. As always, totally tense to the end, and satisfaction when it's over. Looks like a new series maybe? Love the characters.

This one was up and down for me..parts felt drawn out and a little dull but overall, i really enjoyed the story and hope to see more of the characters in future books. They are great characters with lots of depth and they tug at your heart strings.
