As a reader, I thought "After Perfect" was decent; the prose was readable and inviting. It is so easy to read that you became absorbed in this language from the first page. Therefore, I would suggest it was intended for a specific group of readers. The prose in this book might not be to everyone's taste since it seems more conversational to me. The way I would communicate with others would be this way. It was enjoyable. I was not disappointed with the debut, looking forward to seeing more.
